| Posted: 04 Jul 2021 10:25 PM PDT Ok,so I added an alarm on my phone that goes off every 5 minutes from 6:00 to 7:00 but for some reason instead of an alarm going off every 5 minutes it goes off every minute and now I have to wake up with the worst headache!Anyone know a way to fix it or the cause?Thanks in advance [link] [comments]  |
| Need help figuring out “No Service” issue Posted: 04 Jul 2021 02:23 PM PDT I've had a brand new iPhone 12 for about a month now. It started saying out of the blue that I have no service. I can toggle my Cellular Data off and back on, but that does nothing. I tried Network and All Settings Resets, and the only thing that works for ~15sec is when I toggle airplane mode on and off. But after 15 seconds of service it goes back to no service. My bill is all paid up and I'm running the latest version of iOS, as well. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 04 Jul 2021 08:20 PM PDT I've tried two different chargers and both only work when they're plugged into a dual adapter. If not plugged in the phone will charge for a second before stop. As I've said my wired earphones work fine when not using the dual adapter. Would anyone have any clue as to what's wrong? [link] [comments]  |

There's an off chance it actually starts up and I can use it normally, but it doesn't last very long. Here's what the startup screen process looks like, I tried restarting and everything but nothing. | Can you retrieve broken iphone pics via telegram? Posted: 04 Jul 2021 02:45 PM PDT I was sending a bunch of pics to a contact on telegram, and in the process my iPhone broke really bad. The screen is fully broken, and therefore I can't use the phone anymore, but it does work, recieve notifications and stuff. The messages weren't sent because of the size of the files (this usually happens), but I have telegram desktop. I was wondering if there is a way of resending those unsent messages in the phone via telegram desktop and in that way retrieve those pics, cause otherwise they're trapped in the broken phone. Like all phones I've ever owned, I always make sure I use a screen protector and a study case if I drop my phone. Considering that, I dropped my phone a few months ago but it was in my house so the drop wasn't far or severe. Now, my home button has been clicking ever since, and my phone makes a horrible buzzing sound on vibrate and when my phone rings or gets a text. Obviously at this point I am well beyond the warranty and don't have any other protection plan for it. I worry these issues mean my iPhone could literally die on me at any time and then I'm without a phone before having a chance to get a new one. Has anyone ever had these issues with their iPhone? iPhone SE was great, but I upgraded because after two years the battery became a lemon and wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Any info is appreciated! I got rid of all the outside water and tried to get all the water out of the inside speakers and such (i think most of it came off). At first, when i tried powering it back on, it rumbled and had a siren. I thought that the screen was just frozen so i plugged it in for a split second and im scared thats what fucked it up. | iPhone got splashed. Face ID and Volume Up don't work anymore. Posted: 04 Jul 2021 11:53 AM PDT Hi guys, I have an 11 Pro Max. Water got splashed at a pool. My iPhone was never dunked underwater, just splashed. Face ID no longer works. Tells me to move my head up and down. when setting up but doesn't show the circular face detection movement. Volume Up is also no longer working. There is some condensation under my front camera lens. I took out the SIM slot and used a hair dryer to blast air into it. I didn't blast hot air, I used the cool air option. Putting my iPhone into a bag with silica gel packets seems to have helped. How likely can this be fixed? Does anyone have experience with this? I'm hoping that I can take to a good phone repairman to properly clean everything inside and hope the True Depth sensor will go back to normal. [link] [comments]  |
| Payment method keeps getting declined. Posted: 04 Jul 2021 11:46 AM PDT I have an iPhone 8plus and every time i try to download an app or updated one now, it asks me to put in my apple ID password then to change my payment method. It says "previous purchase failed". I've looked at my purchase history and I haven't purchased anything recently and i know for a fact the last thing I purchased went through on my card. I added my boyfriends card instead because i don't have money on mine right now and it's still declining it. A side note: This doesn't have much to do with my problem but when it popped up the first time to enter my password, I couldn't remember it so I hit the "change password" option. I was then promoted to enter the passcode for my phone and no matter how many times I entered the correct passcode, it said it was incorrect. [link] [comments]  |

Also, when keeping it out for a long time, the phone overheats. Have any of you figured out any solutions for either/both of these problems? | Posted: 04 Jul 2021 05:53 AM PDT I had an iPhone 6 that had issues with phone reception. It would cut in and out when calling or receiving calls making it impossible to hold a conversation. I switched phone carriers and SIM cards and it did not make a difference. Therefore, I thought it was an issue with the phone itself and purchased a brand new iPhone 12. I used QuickStart to transfer all the data from my iPhone 6 to iPhone 12. I'm still experiencing the phone connection issues that I did with my iPhone 6. Could this be some kind of bug that was transferred over from my iPhone 6? Any ideas or suggestions on what I should do? This does not appear to be an issue with the connection somehow being blocked by the building I'm in, as my partner also has an iPhone which has no reception issues (he also uses the same phone carrier). | My IPhone 5C has a bunch of odd vertical lines at the bottom and the touchscreen won’t work. Posted: 04 Jul 2021 03:32 AM PDT I'm not sure exactly what happened. All I know is, whilst I was watching a video, these 3 lines appeared on the very bottom of my screen, and the touch screen stopped working entirely. I couldn't even use the touchscreen after locking the phone, and those lines were still there. Plus, as the video played, the lines sorta got this flowing effect through them, and I'm not sure why. It briefly went away after leaving it for a little while, but then returned soon after. I managed to forcibly turn off the phone by holding down the power and turned it on again, but this only briefly fixed the issue. I had something else just happen when I tried that again. This time, the lines disappeared and the touchscreen worked, but then they reappeared again. The touchscreen didn't stop working this time, but I know it could at any moment, and I still don't understand what these lines are. Should I go and get this fixed? Or will it sort itself out on its own? EDIT: I took a screenshot out of curiosity, and the lines are absent on that, so it seems to be a display issue. [link] [comments]  |
