    I can't get the Commands app to activate the automatic change of the background at sunrise and sunset. does anyone have a working procedure that they use on a daily basis?

    Iphone 12 wont turn on after opening app

    Iphone 12

    Fully charged

    Opened Ring app, phone screen went black and has not been able to power on since. Have tried Pressing top volume, bottom volume and hold side button but nothing comes up.

    Have left it on charge for a few hours, tried again and wont turn on.

    Have tried again while connected to a computer with Music open but still will not come up with the apple logo.

    Phone was bought new in April. Prior to no issues.

    I have a iphone 5 that lags

    So i have this iphone 5 that lags and will freeze for a bit when being used i did try resetting the entire phone but no luck does anyone what part inside could be why its doing that?

    why does my iphone stop recording video on its own?

    I noticed that when I record videos on iphone, with the phone on the ground or with a tripod, and walk away, sometimes, I'd come back and find out it stopped recording on its own.

    Like I'd come back after 2 minutes but it only recorded first 30-60 seconds of it, then it stopped recording on its own.

    It doesn't always happen, it happens intermittently, and I definitely had plenty of storage space, so it's not full storage.

    I think it tends to happen more on a hot day, but I didn't see overheating warning either (temperature iphone needs to cool down before you can used it), so I'm not sure if it's because of overheating.

    Missing apps

    I bought my wife and I iPhone 12 Pro Max. Mine has been fine. Hers does this thing where the apps go missing but still show the number of notifications in the app. Also apps crash frequently. It's at the latest iOS. The only temporary solution I've found is per cycle. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

    TrueDepth camera is clouded over

    I mowed the yard yesterday with the phone in my pocket. When I was finished I noticed my faceid no longer worked. The camera is clouded over with what looks like moisture.

    For those that think I have water damage, the indicator is still white inside the sim slot. How can this be, and what should I do?

    i was charging my iphone xr under my pillow and it overheated and everytime i turn it on or charge it its stuck in a boot loop until the battery dies and i cant get in to the phone at all. any help on how to fix it?

    Missing print option with some e-mails in iPhone 11 Pro Max's iOS v14.7 Mail app.

    Hello.

    I'm helping someone who sometimes has a missing print option (AirPrint to an old HP OfficeJet 8600 N911g) with SOME e-mails in iPhone 11 Pro Max's iOS v14.7.1's Mail app. This is with USC.edu's Office 365's server as shown in https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Set-up-email-using-the-iOS-Mail-app-7e5b180f-bc8f-45cc-8da1-5cefc1e633d1 from https://itservices.usc.edu/office365/mobile/. Does anyone know why? We already tried rebooting the iPhone and the printer too.

    App that I don’t have shows up in Screen Time?

    XS Max running 14.4.2- I've never gotten "Yahoo Fantasy & Daily Sports" from the App Store, but it showed up today as having been used for 49 minutes, which it definitely hasn't. I've tried to find it on my phone, and checked the various privacy menus to see if it's trying to access anything, but the Screen Time menu is the only reference (as far as I can tell.)

    The only support questions I've found so far are people asking about apps that are installed but unused, whereas this is something I've never so much as thought about downloading, let alone opened. I'm worried there's something installed on my phone now, can anyone help?

    When are my apps supposed to auto-update?

    This is on both my iPhone 11 and iPad Air. I have Automatic Download switched on but whenever I check the App Store, I always have updates stacked on top of each other unless I manually run the updates. I do have Automatic Updates turned off for cellular, but my phone is connected to WiFi plenty.

    Spotify crashing multiple times a day no matter what battery % or mode

    iPhone X, iOS 14.4.2

    It's been happening since iOS 13 every now and then.

    It sometimes gets very hot just from using spotify with no other apps opened, has anyone experienced this? I love my iPhone X which is why i haven't upgraded which i been thinking about since all this crashing. (Some apps like instagram and twitter and whats app also crash but its super rare)

    When I connect to WiFi, the WiFi symbol doesn't show up. I can use most of the apps that come when your first get you phone like AppStore, safari, etc. I can load up the homepage on YouTube and even search for a video but I can't load it. I can still download apps but I can't play mobile games that require Wifi. I can't receive emails either. I can also use Reddit for some reason. I've restarted my phone multiple times and reset the network setting but nothing works.

    Edit: everything works the same way if I use cellular data aswell

    a little while ago i noticed my text on my phoneXR looked retro kinda? and was flickering, i thought it was just because i was up all night and my glasses where dirty, but for good measure i restarted my phone. once i got back i turned it back on and nothing changed, soon it started moving and almost flickering, now theres weird lines that cover the whole screen and get worse as i keep the phone on... i don't know what to do and i dont have the the money to get it fixed or a new phone, not to mention my mom will legit kill me if i told her. im begging for help bro

    How to consistently trigger passcode when fingers are sweaty/phone is wet?

    while running in the rain/heat it is nearly impossible to trigger the passcode prompt. I click and click and click the home button and the passcode prompt refuses to appear. this leads to me having to stop running entirely and attempt to dry my phone and fingers just to change the song playing. There must be another way… surely apple has thought of this situation?

    Default to video when opening photo app - is it possible?

    iPhone 12 Pro Max iOS 14.4

    I'd love to be able to open the phot app and not have to swap to video in the menu. I use video 90% of the time and it's a bit tiresome have to do this extra move every time, and sometimes I miss shots or accidentally take a photo.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    [HELP] iPhone 8 Back Glass

    I got my new iPhone 8 from back market 3 months ago and noticed that the back glass was loose, but I didn't really care. Sadly, today was the only day I didn't have a case and my phone fell on its back and where the back glass was loose broke off. Now whenever I try to use my home button it vibrates really loudly unless I push down on it's back. What should I do? I tried tape already.

    If you're going to ask about the warranty, I do have guarantee but I'm a minor and I'm not very familiar with how these things work, also I already managed to break my camera lens of the phone (which I'm planning on getting fixed soon).

    siri and voice to text dictation cant hear me

    Gen 1 SE / iOS 14.7.1

    first, i know this is probably already covered but the problem is that it is virtually impossible to narrow down the search for it, either in this sub or online in general. in fact this is precisely the factor that brought me here.

    the only way i can figure out to go about it is to explain it as clearly as possible and hopefully have that explanation read by someone that can drill down into the specific details of the issue.

    ok so here goes...

    when i fire up siri (by holding the home button) the image pops up and the colorful orb is moving around like its working, but (as you may have guessed by now) it doesnt work. it just spins around and does its thing for a few moments and then disappears as if nothing was said.

    now, what i've tested/tried:

    tested my mic in other apps like voice memos and no problem with phone calls

    updated iOS, reset, restore, force restart, turned siri off/on

    maybe i missed a step or didnt follow exact steps in the exact order or something along those lines?

    So my phone number doesn't receive text messages from numbers that aren't in my contacts, and every time I give someone my phone number they'll send a text and I won't receive it, my sister tried calling me the other day but it didn't go through, and now i'm filling out an application for college, and it says my phone number is invalid, how do I fix this?

I tried all the passcodes he said to me, such as his birthday and other things like that but nothing worked. I'd appreciate if someone could help!

    Forgot my old iphone password

    I am trying to restore an Icloud backup from a previous Iphone that I had. There are some conversations that I desperately need(for a court case), however I cannot access any of the previous backups because it asks for my old iphone passcode, which I do not remember.

    Is there any way to restore a backup without the passcode?
