iPhone 12 Pro overheats as soon as I open Reddit — why? Posted: 25 Jul 2021 04:29 PM PDT The title is pretty self-explanatory. It only started a day ago, but it seems like my phone heats up whenever I open Reddit. It happens in a span of a minute and I don't remember my phone ever being so hot before, to the point where the sides are almost burning to the touch. I disabled Reddit's access to pretty much everything, hoping it would help but it didn't. It's still as hot as the surface of the sun 😔 anyone has any ideas WHY this is happening? How long does it take to replace the battery? Posted: 25 Jul 2021 08:55 PM PDT I plan on taking mine to Best Buy this Thursday to get a new battery put in since my battery health is down to 79% and has noticeably slowed down. [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Jul 2021 07:47 PM PDT Hopefully this is the place to ask.. Does anyone know why my iPhone counts riding a bike as steps? The phone is in a bag on the back of my bike, not my pocket or anywhere on my body. It is unclear where/why it thinks these are "steps". According to iHealth, the phone is posting ~500 steps every 10 mins while i am riding? I can understand if it is in my pocket it may think peddling is stepping, but when it is in a bike bag on the back.. it isnt subjected to anything resembling a "step"? Anyone know what causes this and how to turn it off? [link] [comments]
when will the 12 pro max be discontinued? Posted: 25 Jul 2021 07:14 PM PDT two questions: did apple discontinue the 11 pro max right when they announced the 12 pro max? do apple give a price drop to the pro line or is that just the standard version of the iphone? trying to see if now is the only chance to buy the 12 pro max or will there another opportunity a bit prior to their new iphone where we see a price drop on the 2020 models. any help is appreciated [link] [comments]
Posted: 25 Jul 2021 05:56 PM PDT If iI find an old podcast I want to play, is there a way to auto-play it from oldest to newest? It seems like my iPhone always want to jump into the latest episode first. Wanna binge listen from start to finish as intended. [link] [comments]
Which is better: iPhone + Android tablet, or Android Phone + iPad? Posted: 25 Jul 2021 08:58 PM PDT Currently an iPhone XS Max user, I'm planning to upgrade my phone soon and also get a tablet for light work, media consumption, and gaming purposes. I like having the flexibility of having both OS, but I'm not sure which combination of devices is better. May I get your opinions on this? *Additional info that may or may not be a factor - current laptop right now is a Macbook Pro 2017. [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Jul 2021 06:46 PM PDT Is there a way to send a note from my notes app to someone via iMessage? I know I can copy it and send it like that, but it's really long so is there a way to share the whole file? [link] [comments]
Apple X needs new screen. Repair or upgrade? Posted: 25 Jul 2021 02:54 PM PDT I need to replace this pretty soon - it's been chipped for quite sometime but the crack is spreading and I don't want to risk that all of the sudden it's just shattered. Is it worth getting a replacement at ~$250 or upgrading? I'm not really in to bells and whistles, but don't want to sink money into this phone if it isn't worth it logically. Ideas? Backing up iPhone with iCloud and Asher than plugging it into PC Posted: 25 Jul 2021 02:47 PM PDT Forgive me if this is a stupid question, I'm not very savvy with things like this. My iPhone 8 Plus charging port stopped working a few months back. I've been using one of those charging stands in the meantime, but unfortunately I don't know what to do about backing my phone up. I've found another iPhone 8 Plus (I like the fingerprint ID and hate change lol) so I'd like to be able to back my phone up to transfer everything over to my new phone. If I purchase the extra iCloud space, will I be able to back my entire phone up just as I could if I were to plug my phone into a pc? And if so, how would I go about transferring that backup to my new phone? Sorry again if this is a stupid question! [link] [comments] |
