    Netflix Dolby Vision HDR not as bright (as YouTube) on M1 iPad Pro 12.9

    Has anyone else noticed this? Whenever I play an HDR video on YouTube it looks all gorgeous and bright, but then when I play any Netflix movie that supports Dolby Vision it doesn't look as bright/popping/great as YouTube HDR does. It's kinda dim. Does anyone know why this is happening? Yes, I do have Netflix premium.

    I use the ipad with apple pencil but still miss using physical notebooks and pens. How do you integrate using the two?

    I recently got the ipad pro for school/research and use it to replace my textbooks, notebooks, planner, to read academic papers and watch netflix. I have really been enjoying how much lighter my backpack is and how organized everything is. However, I sometimes miss having a physical document or notebook/planner. If you use both, I'd love to read about your workflow and why it works for you. I probably will never go back to having a notebook for each course etc, but I'm looking to somehow integrate a little bit of pen/pencil action back in.

    Is FileBrowser worth the money?

    I tried googling around but there has not been much discussion about if a Third Party File Manager is worth it since around iOS 13? Currently, I am using Documents by Readdle to try it out, but I am unable to transfer files from my Windows PC to my iPad with USB.

    Will getting FileBrowser rectify that? Is it still worth to get FileBrowser today or would it made redundant with iPadOS 15? Thank you

    ⚠️ I made a mistake in the title but can't edit it. I am talking about the iPad PRO not the iPad Air !

    I bought the Logitech Combotouch keyboard because my bf has it and he thinks it's great. I don't really like the design but the fact that you can put your iPad at any angle is very useful - for example when you wanna draw on it. I really like the appearance of the white Apple Magic Keyboard but you can barely move the screen. In addition, I'm afraid that it'll turn yellow. Have you (already lol) experienced that ? In addition to that, I've heard that the borders are not protective at all. I want my iPad to replace my computer so I need a good keyboard, protective case but a nice design. 😫 Thank you in advance for your comments !

    Files acsses from lock screen(15 beta)

    I can use the search menu and access everything in lock Screen when im swiping down. and also unlock the device without using face id. Is it just happening to me?

    iPad as (non-iTunes) media library: is it doable?

    I have amassed a large collection of movies and TV shows over the years, in a variety of file formats. They're currently stored in both Google Drive, and on an external hard drive.

    Is there a good way to get these onto my iPad, and keep them in a well-organized library?

    • Doing it through connecting my iPad to my MacBook seems like an imperfect solution, as everything appears to go into the "home videos" section of Apple TV and gets very disorganized very quickly.

    • Doing it through VLC/NPlayer is great insofar as it allows me to connect directly to my Google Drive cloud storage, but it seems very hard to keep a library of TV shows with multiple episodes and seasons well organized once I've pulled the files down from the cloud and onto iPad.

    Are there any solutions I'm overlooking?

    Keyboard discoloration

    Does anyone else get a bit of discoloration on their IPad 2021 12.9 inch keyboard? For me it appears as circles of red, yellow, and green about the size of my finger tips. Its not the screen itself, as they stay on the keyboard when you rotate the screen and they don't appear all the time either.

    How to connect ipad with a local server?

    I have many old android device capable of running as a cloud storage. I know there is a way but I can't find a working one. Can anyone tell me how to setup old android device as a storage device or a media server using my wifi router? I want to use the storage of the smartphone for storing media and files and access them via the router. Explain a working way please. I use ipad air 4.

    Handwritten notes with voice sync?

    I'm looking for a good app that has all of these features:

    • Handwriting for notes and pdf annotation like Notability or Noteshelf or Nebo
    • handwriting recognition (OCR) so I can search notes by typing text
    • ability to record audio while taking notes and have it sync with my handwriting, so that I can jump to any part of my notes and hear what was said at that time. Kind of like the Livescribe Echo etc.

    I would be shocked if there isn't such an app — can anyone recommend one?

    Streaming services and downloads

    I know you can download shows from Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, and other services. My question is, can you download those shows to an external SSD and then watch on your iPad from the SSD?

    My family will be visiting relatives and the grandmother disconnected the internet and cable, and our LTE service isn't strong enough for streaming. I would like to download enough shows to get them through 3 days.

    I don’t understand how icloud backup work

    Ok so what i see, there are the "Docs" section which is the back up of App data right? and Photo is Photo

    so If i back up all the app data and all the photo already,Do i have to enable "icloud backup" for all this to be completed? I'm just wondering why would you back up the data 1 time and then back up all of them again in "icloud backup". that mean the icloud will use 2 time the actual backup size??

    Can i just backup with normal backup without "icloud backup". Will that results in loss/corrupted of some data?
