What I find amazing is the 2015 model which I bought when it came out still works perfectly fine. Even still has the original battery. Apps still work fine I don't feel performance issues , safari still snappy etc. Apple still provides updates etc. Its amazing how powerful and efficient these CPUs are that 6 years later its still a good product. I could still see 5 more years of lifespan on it. They definitely provide high value for what you get. [link] [comments]  | ||

The magic keyboard trackpad just doesn't work. The same websites work absolutely fine on windows machines. Magic keyboard trackpad works fine with other websites, and the keyboard itself works fine with all websites. [link] [comments]  | ||

Here's the set-up: it's the final day of our visit to our relatives in London, and our plane was taking off in a few hours. It's also the day before prince William gets married with Kate, which was a pretty big deal at the time. Now, for some reason, my family decided it was a good idea to go to a Curry's PC World (big PC and electric shop in the UK) a few hours before our flight, and my uncle saw what he thought was an iPad 2, since it was releasing at the time. So he asked for 2 of them, one for himself, and one to sell back home or something like that, I don't recall. Now, when I saw the box, I remember clearly that the box said iPad, and not iPad 2. So I asked him "Hey, shouldn't it say 2 on the box?", but I was ignored, because I was a dumb 15-yo. So he bought the iPads, and we left for the plane. However, because of the aforementioned wedding, the traffic on the highway was a nightmare and, long story short, we missed our flight, and had to go back to our relative's place to stay overnight until our rescheduled flight the following day. It was at that place that my uncle decided "let's take this iPad for a test drive". And he noticed that the thing is too thick for the iPad 2, plus some other features I don't recall. And that is, to this day, the biggest "I told you so!" moment of life. So we went back to return the tablets, then caught the flight back home, ipadless. [link] [comments]  | ||

However, since the most recent update, I have gotten the dreaded "The developer of this app needs to update it to work with this version of the IOS" message, and the app no longer works. It looks like I can still access the app's contents on Itunes. Is there any way I can transfer the content of the old app internally to the new app, or save the content of the old app onto a drive and retransfer it to the new app? [link] [comments]  |
