    [help] [[A-Font]] version 1.8.2 and later blocks notification from fb messenger and snapchat

    just spent sometime trying to troubleshoot, and noticed that v1.8.1 is the last version that'll allow normal notifications from said apps. any idea how to fix? would like to be up to date with the tweak.

    [Request] Tweak that blocks part of the touch screen, to prevent ghost touches.

    Dropped my 11 Pro Max on 13.3, not that long ago and rather than cracking it has decided to touch itself in a straight horizontal line towards the top of the screen. Since I like this phone and would like to still use it I am searching for a tweak that can block a section of the screen this way it doesn't pick up the ghost touches. I installed [[TouchFlow]] so I know exactly where the touches are coming in and how often, and when they start they go nuts till I turn the screen off.

    There used to be a tweak called [[ScreenLocker]] that I have found but that is 6yrs old.

    Android has an app called partial screen, which is exactly what I'm looking for.

    [QUESTION] Powercuff change log

    I am using the Powercuff being updated by https://tweak.mario.net.in/ yet I don't see change logs, cause the update doesn't show up on mario's repo but under rpetrich repo - where I have to select Modify > Downgrade to see Mario's updates.

    Currently I am on 0.1~mario.10... What are the change logs for all these updates?

    [HELP] Need help with jailbreaking IPhoneXR iOS 14.6

    I've been trying to jailbreak my phone but the methods I tried aren't working I've tried using OG Helper and then tried to install unc0ver on it and it sends me to a YouTube video with the words "this video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Mickey Cohen" this is my first time trying this so I'm obviously really confused. Please leave any help you can maybe even a step by step tutorial. [please try not to suggest any method that involves outside devices needed]

    [Question] 14.2 downloaded on phone, but with it no longer being signed- is it possible to update to it?

    I am debating updating my spare iPhone 7+ (iOS 12.4), but, only if I can re-jailbreak on the newer version of iOS that the phone updates to.

    Knowing that I have not saved blobs for any of iOS 14+ versions, I assumed I was not going to be able to update. However, when going into Settings>General>Software Update & General>iPhone Storage I found a downloaded 14.2 available to be installed.

    Assuming that I lucked out and that 14.2 was the most recent version compatible with the 7+, I almost clicked Update without hesitation. Luckily I was interrupted and got pulled away for about an hour, during which it occurred to me that the Software Update section is likely just not updating to 14.7 because OTA is disabled from the jailbreak. So, to check this theory I plugged into my iMac and clicked the update button to see which version it was going to use- and confirmed that iOS 14.7 is compatible with the iPhone 7+.

    All that said, is it possible to update/install the downloaded 14.2 version within Settings>General>Software Update even though 14.2 is no longer being signed by Apple? My guess is that it's not possible, but figured I'd check if anyone else has come across this scenario, and if anyone thinks it's worth the risk of trying to update.

    [question] unable to restore rootfs with unc0ver

    I've been trying to restore rootfs with unc0ver 6.1.2, it would occasionally give the message it was complete and to reboot then to repeat the process to complete, then it would fail and I would have to start all over again. Now the process only gets to 24 of 30 and gives random error messages about unable to repair packages. What can I do?

    I have an iPhone7 plus on iOS 14.0.1 and using unc0ver 6.1.2. Currently I have only cercube installed and what ever updates where installed in cydia.

    [Discussion] Anatomy of a fake jailbreak

    I bumped into a fake unc0ver site the other day and thought it could be informative to dissect it and see how it works internally. To do this I used a text editor and an application called Burp Suite which lets you see what a website is doing.

    ​

    The fake "exploit" provided by the site comes comes as a file called unc0vervip.mobileconfig. If we open this up in a text editor we can see some XML with some garbled data before and after. For our purposes we only care about the XML which you can see here.

    That big block of text in the data tag looks interesting but it's actually just the unc0ver logo encoded in base64. The interesting part is actually the section below it which tells whatever device opens this file to display the website "install (dot) unc0ver (dot) vip".

    If we open this up this site in burpsuite (note: I do not recommend opening this site. It is fake, will not jailbreak your device. We'll get there in a minute but it also links to a phishing site) we can see it loads a single page that is designed to resemble the unc0ver exploit app.

    If we click the exploit button some text that resembles the terminal output from the real unc0ver scrolls by until the little progress indicator at the top says 29/30 at which point a fake error will pop up saying we need to avoid apples security and a continue button.

    If we click continue, we are redirected to the final goal of this fake payload, a survey based phishing site.

    So what can we do? Not much, but there is one thing. If you go to https://lookup.icann.org/ you can enter a fake site and hit lookup. This will bring you to a page with a bunch of information, the most important of which is the section labeled abuse. This will have an email in it which you can email with information about the malicious site.

    After that it's up to the hosting provider to deal with it and remove the site.

    Moral of the story? Double check you've got the legitimate site, nothing good comes from the fake ones.

    [Question] In Coolbooter, why does my iPad 2,4 not let me go past the 3GB Storage limit?

    I have 6GB of storage free on my iPad and Coolbooter says that I can only have 3GB for the secondary storage partition. I do have a few important items on iOS 9.3.5 so I hope not to format the device. Anything I can do to bypass it? It is also a 16GB model fyi.

    [Question] is there a tweak so that I use an usb-c to HDMI adapter on my iPad to play YouTube videos in full screen? Currently it’s just a mirror on the TV, with the iPad aspect ratio on the tv. However, you can do that in VLC, Netflix and in other apps. That’s an image of VLC playing on the TV.
