    Battery widget should open battery settings directly

    Just the title. I think it's bit of flawed/overlooked design. The battery widget is there on the screen. I should be able to touch it and directly go to battery settings. Or at least haptic touch should let the user toggle on low power mode.

    The medium calendar widget really got a downgrade… I used to love how it showed the whole month at a glance.

    Warning For Those Using Notes

    If you're like me, you probably use the notes app to store valuable or other important information.

    I own a side business, and used notes to track inventory and sale prices. I did this specifically with the Table function implemented into the app.

    After another sale, I opened the note storing the inventory information and ALL of the information was deleted in every table. I have 50GB of icloud storage available, and plenty of system space. The note itself was not deleted, so recovery is not an option.

    If you have valuable information sitting in your notes, back it up externally as soon as possible. I had years worth of important information vanish into thin air that cannot be recovered.

    EDIT: Someone commented (now deleted) about the issue possibly involving a password protected note + excessive data stored in the table. This may be the best answer, as my notes are password protected.

    TIL that if you use multiple languages in your keyboard, it understands the language of the chat and opens the keyboard with the respective language.

    Audio balance always off (iPhone 11 Pro Max)

    No matter what pair of headphones I use they'll be weaker in the left ear, I can change the audio balance through accessibility (not keen cos it lowers sound quality but idm) however the day after the audio is now skewed differently so I find myself tinkering with the sliders. This has been going on for weeks now does anyone have a permanent fix???

    How to save something to files?

    I've tried searching the web. All the instructions I've found don't work for me. I'd like to make use of "Files" folder on my iPhone. So far, over the last couple of years that I've had it, "files" saves stuff I don't want, and won't save anything I do want.

    I want to save a pdf file from Facebook Messenger. When it shows me a list of apps to save it to, "Files" isn't in the list.

    Should private relays work on family plans?

    Best non-mainstream apps available for iOS?

    Every article I read so far only focuses on the very mainstream apps that everybody knows about(Whatsapp, Instagram and so on), but I'm looking for something else.

    iPadOS 15 Beta Internet Issues

    After updating my IPad Mini 5 to the IPadOS 15 Public Beta, my iPad won't connect to the Internet. I've tried different methods that I've seen online but nothing really works to try to get it back online. The only thing I can think of that could be the issue is my WiFi router, which is one of those security routers that has a lot of different protections and whatnot but I'm still not certain. Help would be appreciated.

    Cyan pixel that comes and goes at random

    I noticed that there's a cyan pixel that doesn't go away, but after a while, usually once my phone sleeps and I wake it up, it dissapears. But then after a while it comes back. How do I get rid of the cyan pixel permanently?

    If it helps, I'm on an iPhone Xs Max that I've had since 2018. It's running iOS 14.6.

    I'm just wanting to mute my iPad or even iPhone during ads on Hulu and not lose exactly where the perfect volume level is. Is this a thing? Of course I can slide the volume meter down all the way but then i have to find exactly the right spot again and i'd like to keep it at the same exact spot and not move the volume bar. I haven't found any way to do it but if someone could please let me know, I'd be forever grateful! I know it's something minute but that would help me a ton

    Edit: Tried Siri and she can do it when commanded... but I just want a simple, specific button in the control center area. And i'm more specifically trying to do it for my ipad but i'm sure it's a similar way to do it

    It's getting annoying now. I'll zoom on a point in one of my pics and as I move that zoomed spot around it far too often results in me accidentally closing the pic and going back to my album. I think it's mistaking a downward movement for that quick-down-swipe-to-close-gesture. Is there a way to reduce the sensitivity of this particular gesture, or do I have to continue trying to retrain myself on how I'm viewing my photos even though it's been a few years since this gesture was released and I'm still screwing it up?

    Help, my XR won't read my simcard

    Open in app feature not working

    How does the open in app feature work? For example if I open a link to a Reddit post, the link will usually take me to my browser (or an in app browser) and there I will be given a choice to continue viewing the page in the browser or open it in the app. If I choose the app (Reddit) I will be taken to the AppStore page for the app, even if I already have the app downloaded. Clicking open from the AppStore page will just open to app like normal, and won't load the page I was trying to view. Is there any way to fix this issue?

    How safe is it to flash an iPhone?

    My iPhone XR was stuck in a boot loop due to low storage, which I tried to resolve using iTunes (updating visa recovery mode) to no avail.

    I need the data on the phone back, and flashing iOS using 3utools seems to have solved this issue for some others. My only concern is — does flashing run a considerable risk of rendering the phone completely useless?

    While I need the data back, it would be far worse to have the data lost, and the phone bricked as well. I'd also appreciate any tips on how to flash an iPhone, to which OS, in as safe a manner as possible.
