    Bought lifetime license for Infuse Pro 6 for 30€, after a few months it’s out dated by minor scammy upgrade to 7

    I bought a lifetime License for Infuse 6 pro and a month later 7 pro comes out with the most minor upgrades. My 6 pro doesn't get support updates(10 second skip Function broken) I've talked to support and all they can offer me is a free trial to their subscription service for 7. Is this what I paid 30€ for? I would call this the most distasteful behavior and I really hope companies like this don't succeed. I don't know anything about app rules but it feels like being scammed.

    Xbox app now has Dolby Vision+Atmos

    After the recent app update, the app now nicely switches from SDR to either HDR or Dolby Vision depending on the title on my Xbox One S. And with the recently added Xbox system audio setting "Allow Passthrough", my AVR shows it's getting Dolby Atmos over DD+ when a movie supports it. Thanks, Apple!

    Has anyone else noticed that the YouTube app for the new Apple TV has some UI issues? I don't seem to be having them on prior 4K model. For example when trying to watch a video, the ability to see similar videos or go to the channel page is almost absent and takes like 10-15 seconds to load? Also why haven't many companies supported in code the new remote features?

    Curious if anyone has a running list of what apps support the new remote in entirety.

    I have the new Apple TV 4K connected to a Denon X3500 which is then connected to the eARC port on an LG C9.

    I am tired of constantly seeing the "no signal" messages when starting and ending a tv show. Last night while watching Mare of Easttown, the frame rate matching caused a no signal message when I first started the show, then another message during the preview and finally a last message during the HBO intro logo. I guess they're all different frame rates.

    I know on the setting it says "some TVs do this automatically" so I'm curious if I'm even losing anything by turning this setting off? I tried turning it off today and it has completely solved the signal loss issue, but I just want to make sure my picture quality isn't going to suffer for it.

    PSA: the HDMI cable you use with your new Apple TV 4K (2nd Gen) matters

    I replaced my gen 1 Apple TV 4K with the 2nd gen and simply swapped out the box behind my TV. I kept getting remote disconnected messages in the upper right corner. I tried everything. Re-pairing, factory resetting, moving the box, etc. nothing worked until I called Apple support and they read me an internal support document that states low quality HDMI cables can interfere with Bluetooth frequencies. I had no idea. They recommended the Belkin Dolby vision HDMI to connect the Apple TV to my tv. It works great now, no issues. Although the belkin HDMI cable was $33 which I thought was a bit high. Hope this saves someone the headache.

    MLB app for Apple TV not functioning today

    Is anybody else experiencing this issue? I receive a, "bootstrapping," message upon starting the app and then just spinning wheel. Multiple app restarts and no change. Lots of baseball to watch today!

    Resolution issue with Youtube videos please help!

    I just got a new TV screen that is way bigger and higher resolution than my previous 15 year old tv. Ever since I made the switch about a week ago, everything looks great. Hulu, Netflix, and everything else is high resolution and have no issues but when I try and watch Youtube videos everything looks terrible. When you're in the app itself the resolution of the thumbnails and titles and descriptions of videos are sharp and look good but as soon as you click on a video it all goes down. I can't find resolution settings anywhere on the Apple TV Youtube app. Anyone know how to fix this?

    Anyone tried the new Apple tv 4k with arc port on soundbar (not eArc) if so does it fix lip syncing?

    So most streaming devices connected to a TV that uses a soundbar and an arc (not eArc) get lip syncing issues. The new Apple TV 4k is supposed to address things like this with a way to listen to audio with the Iphone and adjust it accordingly with the Apple TV 4k. Anyone tried it?

    Looking for assistance with setup

    Hi all I have Apple TV 4K 2021 Sony x900h PS5 2 HomePods

    I have it setup as follows: Apple TV plugged into HMDI 3 (earc) (enhanced Dolby output selected on Sony TV) Ps5 plugged into HDMI4 (enhanced output)

    I'm getting audio from HomePods fine and works perfectly as the main audio output.

    The issue I'm having is I don't think any Dolby vision movies/tv shows are playing in that format. I'm not seeing any indicators that Dolby vision or atmos is streaming. If I select Dolby vision as my video format on Apple TV my Sony recognises it and changed the video setting to "Dolby dark". However as soon as I play a movie that changes to "standard"

    I have also tested my hdmi cable and it's working perfect.

    Any suggestions? Thanks

    Play button not responding on Youtube app and others

    I just purchased a new Apple TV with the updated remote and whenever I pause using the pause button on the Apple TV remote, it pauses fine but when I push the same button to resume the show it does nothing, I have to click the touchpad to make it resume. I see this behavior in Youtube and in the ESPN App.

    if you press the center of the touchpad play will continue.

    Also, scrubbing the video back or forward the play button then works.

    This seems to be an older glitch that has now come back, very annoying!

    Anyone know a fix for this?

    Not sure if it is the app or the iOS? Apple apps seem to work fine.

    Did anyone have the HBO Max app crash last night on their Apple TV?

    Last night the HBO Max crashed for many users during the season finale of "Mare of Eastwood".

    I noticed that, for me, the Apple TV was working but the Roku was not.

    Experiences from anyone else?

    Positioning of HomePods for simple home theater setup?

    I'm setting up a 2021 Apple TV 4K and two HomePods for a simple home theater setup.

    I can place the two HomePods at each end of the floating AV cabinet below my TV OR on each end of the coffee table which sits much closer to the viewing positions, but is lower than the couches (it's a low height, Asian / contemporary style coffee table).

    I would test it, but I have to drill grommet holes on the coffee table to use that position.

    Which position would we get better audio quality from?

    The TV and floating AV cabinet are mounted on the wall probably 15ft. from the couch. The coffee table is probably three feet from the couch.

    Dark during some movies on Netflix

    I tired to watch Army of Dead using my new Apple TV on my fairly new Samsung TV. The film is so dark it's barely watchable, I have my power saver mode turned off, and I don't have issue with any other films on Netflix.. anyone running into this issue??

    TV App Menus still SOO LAGGY

    Ive had the first gen 4k before I got the new second gen 4k last week, and still THESE MENUS ARE SO LAGGY AND out of whack STILL. I have 500mbps down internet with 495mbps on the wifi. Wifi and 2nd gen Apple TV 4K are BOTH WIFI6..... when I go to 4K HDR section in my movies, the Movies Artwork DOESNT load or takes FOREVER TO FINALLY Kick in... on the iPhone its INSTANT and THE MOVIES PLAY INSTANT! no loading COG nothing.. im just like confused at this stilll.
