    iOS is getting kinda messy

    Everything from how we now have two different types of volume sliders, the volume slider in Music glides, whereas the one on the whole system isn't as smooth, system notifications are different to app/they overlap. The App Library I find to not serve a purpose/it's not good in its purpose (or maybe it's too good, so I don't really notice it whilst using it). Yeah, a bit of an embattled rant, I used to love iOS for its consistency, and how simple it was - recently it feels like it's losing its way, new features feel shoved together rather than combined, and integrated, parts of the system aren't cohesive with the rest, and, and, and

    Am I justified, or being too particular? I saw a video of iOS 7 the other day, and I do very much so miss it in my iPhone 5

    Is iMessage free worldwide?

    So I live in Europe and a friend of mine lives in Australia. We both have an iPhone and an iCloud account, and I wanted to know if messaging with eachother on iMessage would be free for both of us. Also I'm sorry if this question doesn't fit in this community, I couldn't find a more fitting one.

    Safari cloud tabs from a year ago keeps showing up

    I got a new iPad, set it up fresh, connected to iCloud and it automatically synced everything, works fine.

    On the iPad only, the cloud tabs shows tabs from the iPhone probably a year ago.

    I've tried many things, manually closing the cloud tabs, turn off Safari in iCloud sync, log off both devices on iCloud, various restarts, tried almost everything.

    After I reenable iCloud - Safari, the tabs from a year ago shows up, thats long before I purchased this iPad, the tabs just won't go away, it keeps coming back.

    So I've been a premium member for a LONG time now and still don't have the option even after they've allegedly started rolling it out. Trying to get a gauge of how many others have this option by now.

    same happened to me after updated to 14.6. wifi disconnects every time when locked, takes at least 2,3 mins to reconnect when unlocked, and randomly disconnects. i spent days trying everything people posted, none worked. until I disabled either 2.4G or 5G on my router and the issue is resolved. Now I only keep the 5G on since all my devices are compatible, if you have some older devices, you will have to keep and connect everything on 2.4G.

    hopefully apple fix it soon

    Please help, my reminders go off constantly since I got a new phone

    I have reminders that go off daily at 10a, 11, 8p and 10p. Since switching from my iphone xs to the 12 pro max they all go off at once over and over throughout the day. They all just went off at 8:53, and this was the third time today.

    I have tried deleting them all and re entering them. I don't understand what the problem is. Help?

    Help with Stolen iPhone

    Last week I got mugged and my iPhone 8 Plus was stolen. I managed to delete all pws from iCloud, change the pw from iCloud, and activate "Find My iPhone". No luck as the phone wasn't turned on.

    Today I've got a weird text on my dad's phone, locating the phone. Despite knowing it was a scam I gave it a shot - as I've got nothing to lose up to this point. Logged, saw the redirection happening, and immediately went to change again the iCloud pw. The "Find My" feature was disabled (no longer showing my iPhone or my iPad), however, I do see my iPhone on the account details in iCloud.

    The phone is also blocked by IMEI by the phone carrier. MAC address reported to the police from what Google provides. Does this mean they could access the phone data? The phone had Touch ID enabled, two-step verification on everything. I only lost some photos and the data on the iOS-only apps.

    I felt like Apple really missed an opportunity to make the Home Button go out in its last glory: Home Button Multi-Taps.*

    So we have the Reachability function in which you double-tap the home button to bring half of the screen downwards for easy access.

    But since we already have the tapping function on this little area that inevitably went away, why didn't they also add the option to single-tap and triple-tap?

    I'd personally love the following: 'single-tap to go to Home' and 'double-tap to return to the last used app', and 'triple-tap to activate Reachability'.

    Apple gloriously missed this one.

    Hello interwebs hive!

    I am looking for an iOS app I once saw a review from, and I just can't find it anymore…

    The app is (if memory serves me well) a little bit like a note taking app, but it calculates what you actually write down: « half a kilo + 3.2 ounces » and it will yield you a result…

    I'm sorry I don't have any more info about it, but I'm sure Reddit will surprise.

    Files application on iphone

    How do I extract photos from subfolders (approx 1500) in the Files app to save them in the photos app? I grew tired of opening the individual subfolders then saving the photos therein.

    Can’t access my emails

    For some reason, whenever I go to the mail app, I am taken to the screen where I can add an account. I already have my iCloud email added to my email. I can't see any of my emails, just the "add an email" screen. It's mainly garbage, but I do have some important school stuff behind that email, so any help would be appreciated!
