    My iPad is on iPadOS 14.6,my internet is fine and I have restarted a couple of times. I've been trying to redeem my procreate that was gifted to me but the redeem screen is just blank. If I use the redeem from iTunes store it is also blank but it has a cancel button on the top left

    Notification count badge issue in ios

    Hey everyone you might have seen this issue as well. I have notifications on twitter, reddit, Apollo reddit, Instagram and others, even then notification badge count doesn't show the numbers unless I open the app and close it. What's the point of badges if you have to refresh the app manually to see the notification count? I am supposed to open the app if I had a notification badge 😑 can we do something about it to fix the issue? 🙄

    iPad Backup Challenge

    Use Case: our iPads are used for editing and social media sharing of almost daily underwater video and still photography. The originals go from the cameras to a NAS and down to the iPads. Each iPad as much as 1/4-1/2TB (or more) of edited and unedited dive files.

    We do NOT need or want these backed up to the iCloud or part of any File Explorer device backups. The frequency of adds, edits, and the number of files just isn't worth the space or bandwidth needed.

    The Challenge: Has anyone found a way to backup iPads (using current iOS and MacOS code levels and NOT include anything from the photo library without also requiring iCloud photo streaming we is not needed or wanted for this content.

    My phone will not accept my visa gift card that functions as a debit card.

    I have updated my phone to the lates iOS, but that didn't help. I also have been making sure the info from the card is correct every time. The card works on everything else, even on the Apple website. But it won't work when I try it in my Settings app. Please comment if you think of anything.

    iPhone 8 iOS 14.6.0 cant install any app from appstore

    Anyone else having trouble downloading any Apps from the Appstore?. I got a new iphone and made a new AppleID and when I hit "GET" on the app, it loads for a second then it goes back to "GET", there is no prompt for Touch ID or any other confirmation. The iPhone is functioning perfectly fine otherwise. But if i login with another appleid only then i am able to download apps which are already installed on the phone with that secondary appleid, it still doesnt let me download any new app.

    These are the things i have tried already

    • Factory reset the phone.
    • Disable/Enable Touch ID
    • Change the password on Apple ID.
    • Sign out/in to Apple ID
    • Have a billing address and a credit card on file.
    • Contacted Apple Support regarding this issue, they were not helpful.

    Any help will be appreciated. Thank you

    My toddler child charged $450 worth of roblox and mine craft coins on my account. Apple refunded most of it but they wont refund me $50 worth of minecraft coins. What are my options? I tried to appeal it online, and it was still denied. I spent over an hour on the phone with them to no avail.

    Recovery partition was erased and internet recovery fails with error code -1008F. Any attempt to boot the OS installed on a SSD or usb startup disk fails and switches to internet recovery. Any thoughts on how to get this recovery to work?

    Smooth brain wrecked phone

    Basically me and some friends went kayaking, and I thought "oh I have an 8, it's water resistant it should be fine." Well, my sister ending up flipping the kayak over with me in it, causing my phone to be submerged for a solid 3 minutes. On top of that it was basically always wet. So I get in the car it it was dead from naturally running out of juice. So when I plug it in, everything is all glitchy, display is messed up, the whole shabang. Well it turned itself off and I thought "Ok this is good, ill just turn it on and it'll be fine. Well i turn it back on and it had the charger and laptop thing. So I get home, plug it into the chromebook I am currently writing this on, and now it straight up won't show anything no matter how long I hold down the power button.

    Alright I’m throughly stumped. iMac 2017 issue

    No apple logo at boot or video at all. Fan going full tilt. Max still works and can share screen remotely, and here is what the GPU temps are reporting. no way it's actually that consistent.

    Anyone ever seen this and know what the outcome was?

    After years of running a local pawn shop, I have come to the ownership of many activation locked iPhones, iPads. We don't take Apple stuff anymore unless it is clearly unlocked but I still have a large pile of devices that I can't sell or use. Is there anything I can do with this stuff or is it as worthless as I have come to know?

    Hasn't bothered me much until recently when I got a MacBook, which I learned have the same locks as the phones now and a couple new watches with no issues other than the locks.

    You don't need to tell me that it was dumb to take them, I know.

    iPhone 11 OOW service?

    Hiya,

    We have an iPhone 11 Pro Max that got caught between our car and the door while it was in a coat pocket - anyone know if Apple are likely to say this is eligible for OOW service or are we going to be eating the cost of an entirely new phone?

    It turns on, have managed to pull a backup to my Mac - shockingly everything still works, the screen just flickers an awful lot.

    I am not able to take calls on my iPad on behalf of my iPhone anymore. Please Help

    As you might know, if your iphone is nearby your ipad, both are connected to the same apple ID, you can make or receive calls on your ipad instead of your iphone.

    This was working perfectly fine till yesterday, but idk what happened today but it stopped working. I checker to everything, "calls from iphone" is turned on on my ipad and everything seems just fine. I signed out and signed back in on both of the devices but it didn't help either. Please Help

    M1 Mac Mini - what about storage

    So, I am looking at getting a 2020 M1 Mini and trying to decide about storage. While I'll max the RAM @ 16GB, I'm trying to decide between the onboard max of 2TB SSD or using something like the the thunderbolt connected OWC Envoy Express and some brand of NVMe SSD.

    The storage would be used for time capsule backups, iPad/iPhone backups (maybe, I really wish Apple would let me exclude photos in those backups), and maybe some other things.

    The intention for the mini is that it will be an always (usually) powered on machine in the house.

    Password data breach

    My iPhone said that over 50 of my passwords are reused (I know I'm dumb) and some of my emails are in a breach. I've checked those emails on haveibeenpwned and it said it couldn't find any breaches. I'm currently changing my passwords but should I be worried?
