| my iphoneX battery health drops immediately when the phone gets hot Posted: 06 May 2021 03:23 PM PDT about a month ago I bought a used iPhone X in very good condition and according to the 3uTools app the phone was never disassembled and all the internal parts are legit (nothing has been replaced) here is a pic from 3uTools when I bought it the battery health maximum capacity was at 95% and now after a month of use it's at 84%, the weird thing is the battery doesn't drop by itself it only drops when the phone gets hot, every time the phone gets hot it drops by 1%, at first I noticed after almost 10 days from the time I bought it I found that the battery health maximum capacity was at 90% and I search the internet for an explanation but I didn't found any... and after like 3 days it drops another 4% (i was playing a lot of games at the time and the phone used to get hot) so I suspected it's because of the games so I checked the battery health maximum capacity at the time and it was at 86% and I immediately opened a game that makes the phone hot (the name of the game is "into the dead") and played for like half an hour then after I closed the game I immediately checked the battery health maximum capacity and it dropped by 1% so I uninstall all the games on the phone and just kept using the phone for taking pics, web navigation, alarm, maps ... but nothing so power demanding and the battery health maximum capacity stayed at 85% for more than 6 days(i was always checking it at that time) until last night I was uploading a video to youtube using 4G while simultaneously watching a movie on Netflix and I notice that the phone got hot so I checked the battery health maximum capacity and it dropped another 1% I'll really appreciate it if someone could explain to me why is this happening [link] [comments]  | ||

| face id stops working after a couple unlocks Posted: 06 May 2021 06:18 AM PDT i've restarted my phone about 3 times now trying to get it working right. i've reset face id every time. and it works right for a couple unlocks but after that it stops recognizing my face. and when i try to reset face id without restarting my phone, i get an error message saying face id is not working. what do i do?
