    Given all the processor efficiencies etc. is a 8GB base RAM going to go a lot further than it did on an Intel?

    I accidentally hit "Don't Trust" and now I can't sync my iPhone to my Mac. I've tried clearing the privacy settings as suggested in the Apple Discussions forums but it has not helped. I have also restarted my computer and my phone but this also has not helped.

    iMac won't reboot

    2017 5k iMac won't reboot. This happened randomly. When I run Macintosh HD it won't boot at all and will shut down completely when I get to a certain point in the line. When I run the installer it will say that MacOS can't be installed. Shortcuts don't work and holding Shift to launch in safe mode just endlessly cycles and restarts the reboot every 3 seconds. Any ideas?

    Not able to adjust battery settings in Big Sur

    I just had to have my hard drive wiped, and Big Sur was reinstalled on my MacBook (2015 retina 15 inch). I went to get my settings back to how I like them, but it won't let me adjust any of the battery settings. Mainly how long before my display cuts off after being idle for x minutes. The slider to control this is grayed out, and there's no lock on these settings anywhere I can see.

    Any ideas why this is happening?

    iPhone 7 is stuck in a boot loop, tried hard reboot already

    iPhone 7 bought in 2018 with nearly full storage capacity is stuck in a boot loop, currently, the phone is dead, I let the battery die to see if after charging it, the phone would boot up normally, didn't work. It's been stuck in this boot loop since noon and although I would be willing to take the phone to my local apple store, I would much prefer attempting to attempt fixing it at home first.

    When I connected my phone to my desktop to try to see if iTunes would recognize the phone was plugged in, iTunes did not recognize anything.
    Solutions would be appreciated.

    Big web stalls/hangs after Mojave reinstall

    Had to reinstall Mojave after Catalina upgrade went haywire.

    Since reinstalling I have been getting quite long (30s - 1 minute) freezes in connectivity in Safari with the blue progress bar usually hanging about an inch from the left of the url bar. This is the point at which, I believe, DNS resolution is taking place.

    I run PiHole from a SBC but this stalling is happening whether using that for DNS or using Cloudflare.
    Not sure where to start looking for the issue.
    Sometimes I can copy the url from the frozen tab into a new tab and it'll load normally. Not always though.
    Safari is 14.0.3 and Mojave is 10.16.6

    I Dropped my phone https://imgur.com/a/Or9Plaj and i cannot access my phone messages because it was put into airplane mode as i was watching something on Netflix. i tried voice over and assistive touch but none are able to be turned on because Siri is not available because of airplane mode. does anyone know how to access the text on my phone or remotely control the device to access the text messages? if it helps i use verizon and am using the iphone SE

    iPhone XR hotspot problem

    Hello, everyone. I own iPhone XR (model A1984) and every time I try to use Personal hotspot - it doesn't work. I tried to reboot it - doesn't help. Talked with my network operator support - it's not because of them. My LTE, WiFi & Bluetooth works good, but not when I try to use my phone as personal hotspot. iOS version 14.5, but the problem was there before iOS 14.5Do you have the same issues? Any advices? My friend have almost the same iPhone XR - everything works fine.

    iPhone 7 with broken screen has a discolored part that isn’t visible when the screen is dark. What kind of damage does this look like? Would I need to change the entire screen to get rid of this issue or glass replacement would solve it?

    Folks, good afternoon. I have a 2009 iMac from a customer which is without the system. When I try to reinstall the system it says that MacOs is not available. I already formatted the HD and tried to install it with a bootable USB stick that I made with a MacBook, in this part I am not presented with an option to connect to the wifi. When I connected to the internet via cable and clicked to install the MacOS from the USB stick he stayed all night on the Apple logo (without any progress bar) and even then didn't install it. I have also tried to put in recovery by internet but I didn't find how to do it for a Windows keyboard. I bought an ethernet adapter to connect my MacBook and install the system but I don't know how.

    Unlock with Apple Watch not working

    Over the course of two weeks, my Apple Watch (series 5) has only successfully unlocked my iPhone XR once… 99.99% of the time the resulting message is "could not connect to Apple Watch" which is strange as I can still receive notifications on my watch just fine. Anyone know how to fix this issue? Or is it just my phone being dumb 🥲

    In-memory browsing history between macOS/iOS question…

    When I am typing in a domain on my iPhone, I notice a little pop up of my browser icon on my Mac and it says "from iPhone". If I click the icon on my Mac before I type anything in the iPhone browser, it will open a new tab in my browser on Mac with whatever is the last open tab I have on my iPhone. Just wondering if the domains that I type in are then also getting stored in macOS memory? Thanks

    Hi, i have a problem with iTunes, it keeps crahsing while while updating my iPhone on a Windows PC.

    I downloaded iOS update, i connected my iPhone to PC and backed it up, then i clicked update button ,confirmed and entered my password on my iPhone. Aaand it crashed...

    I tried to close Windows Defender (it worked once a while ago), but it did not work for this time.

    Is there anything that i can do? Please help.

    Can't use gift card

    My beatsx wont connect to my phone

    Whenever I try to connect to my phone it flashes white and red the it flashes red twice then turns off. I tried to restart my beatsx but that still didnt work and I even left it charging for a whole day but it still did the same thing.

    iPhone 13 120 hz

    So i read it somewhere im not sure if its true, but if it is, it said that the iphone 13 will have a 120hz screen, if its true will we be able to change it to 60? i used a phone with 120hz but i prefer 60 beacuse of battery. I think it would be shame if u could not change it

    Can I trade in my MacBook Pro if only 2 of 4 ports charge?

    Not sure why but my 2018 MacBook Pro 15inch decided to take a shit on me. The two ports on the left side stopped recognizing that there's a charger plugged in and Apple quoted me for a logic board replacement repair.

    The guy working at the genius bar suggested to get the M1 13 inch pro and pay the difference. But I'm wondering if apple would give me the full 990 or not since 2 of the ports don't charge. The laptop does not have any other issues and it's in great condition holds a charge and operates normally.

    I tried to go through the trade in process online and the only thing it asked in relation to the ports was if (they had any debris or they look physically tampered with "damaged". No where did it ask if all 4 ports do charge.

    I don't want to go ahead and purchase a new laptop and then apple sending me an email that my trade in was not approved. So what does everyone think?
