What would you rather have Apple implement first? 120hz, in-screen TouchID, or smaller/no notch? Posted: 30 Apr 2021 05:26 PM PDT And in what order? (we know apple isn't going to implement these all at once in the next phone) Personally,

How the Find My Network exactly works? Posted: 30 Apr 2021 10:30 PM PDT I have a few questions about this and didn't find the answers on the web nor this community. 1: lets say i have my iPhone's Find My settings all turned on, but i have Bluetooth and location disabled. If I walk nearby another iDevice with Bluetooth turned on, lets say an Airtag, will that Airtag's owner still get the location thanks to me? 2: same scenario as point 1 but this time my iPhone is lost with no internet connection and no Bluetooth. If someone with another iDevice with Bluetooth turned on walks near my phone, will they help me get my phone's location even if I turned Bluetooth off before losing it? 3: same scenario as 2 BUT this time both iDevices have Bluetooth turned off, what happens? Posted: 30 Apr 2021 04:04 PM PDT Questions about impact of iOS 14.5 Hello fellow nerds. With the implementation of iOS 14.5, users will now be able to actively select whether or not a website can track them across other websites. I have read that an expected 68% of users are expected to opt out of being tracked online. This is upsetting advertisers, as they are allegedly threatening to leave the platform. My question is this: Why would you choose to allow yourself to be tracked online? What are the benefits of allowing this? (Honest question, not trying to be snarky.) ALSO: If advertisers do end up leaving the platform, what does that mean for apple? What could come of this? Do you foresee any negative impact? Thanks all! [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Apr 2021 07:31 PM PDT New iphone user having switched over from android. My biggest gripe so far is I hate the keyboard on this phone! And even gboard and swiftkey on this is terrible. I think my average correct rate is like 40%, I'm using swipe feature and sometimes the words aren't even close. "Bachelor" will come out "B cc Lord". Idk why the gboard on iphone is having trouble since the one on my Google pixel is amazing. I have autocorrect off on everything. Anyone have any tips or another keyboard to try? Is this"learning" phase for the keyboards going to take a long time? Could it be a touchscreen issue? I'm really thinking about returning this phone. [link] [comments]
