| Cell service randomly drops and won’t connect back? Posted: 10 May 2021 11:30 PM PDT I have an iPhone 12 and after updating to iOS 14.5 my cell service would randomly drop and only way to fix this is restarting the phone to reset network settings. I tried restoring my phone but still have this problem. I tried wifi calling but it won't connect to WiFi calling. Anyone else have this issue? [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone X powering off below 40% Posted: 10 May 2021 03:56 PM PDT I own an iPhone X that is close to being 4 years old. It worked perfectly fine until a month back when the battery suddenly started acting weird. Once I charge the battery to a 100%, it just stays there for a very long time before starting to reduce. And then initially, it started powering off when below 10% gradually 20%, 30%. And now 40%. As soon as the charge touches 40 it shuts down. My battery health is 83%. Does anyone know what other problem could it be other than a bad battery? [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 10 May 2021 11:27 PM PDT This is so distracting, the screen will flicker between black-green and black in low brightness settings when I'm typing or sometimes it'll just randomly happen. Everyone said 14.5 was supposed to fix the issue if you had it but did anyone actually start getting it now? Honestly makes me hate the phone now, it's that distracting. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 10 May 2021 03:00 PM PDT I brought my phone to get fixed since I had a crack on my screen (should be simple right?) They fix the crack but the bottom left side of the phone is dimmer than the rest of the screen. They wanted to charge extra for that to be fixed, of course I said no and I was left with my phone in this state. A couple of months pass and the phone screen goes completely black (as in it's on but you cannot see the screen at all) should I be charged to fix this with the same shop? [link] [comments]  |

I know Whatsapp for Android uses Google drive for backup where for iPhone it uses iCloud- but I can't seem to find any legit info on which apps to use? | Posted: 10 May 2021 05:47 PM PDT so, i recently got an iphone 7 plus from my mom which is under a different carrier than mine. we started the process of transferring the phones last week Monday and her carrier told us to wait until Wednesday, and we did but it wasn't unlocked yet. Waited till Friday still wasn't unlocked, and we waited on the weekends and it's still locked, we called and they said it should be unlocked by Monday which is today and it's still locked. I looked online on how long the process should take and it said about 24 to 48 hours. It's been taking way longer than that. Is this normal? [link] [comments]  |

| iPhone wifi constantly not working Posted: 10 May 2021 04:52 PM PDT So I've had this phone for almost a year now and it's an iPhone 11 and just this past month it's been doing this thing my old phone did. I looked it up online but there's no good way to put it so I thought I could get help here. Basically my internet will be very strong, then randomly it will be SUPERRR slow and I mean super slow but not completly stop working. This happened on my old phone as well but I've asked my family and no one else has this problem. Also whenever I reset the wifi I get another good minute sometimes before I have to reset again but sometimes it will work for a while. It's very sporadic. It's also not my wifi we have very good wifi and nothing else ever goes out when my internet on my phone goes out. Does anyone know what's going on or how I can fix this? It's so annoying. | Call blocking and identification’ missing on iPhone XS Max with iOS 14.5.1 Posted: 10 May 2021 04:38 PM PDT As above I am having issues with Call Blocking and Identifications not being there despite having a call blocking app installed. If I access the Phone option via settings it isn't there but does appear a few minutes later if I wait on the screen but logging out stars the process again. It worked prior to this update and I assumed it was Truecaller the app I was using had the issue but I removed it and installed another and had the same issues. I tried removing all call blocking apps and did a full reboot of the phone then reinstalled and same issues. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
| My iphone 6s wont let me delete a glitched instagram Posted: 10 May 2021 08:52 AM PDT I was getting my phone earlier and I noticed Instagram was still on it which is weird because I delete it every night before I go to sleep. So I tried to open the app (which I should mention the icon was all glitched, I tried to link a photo but it wont let me). Anyway I've tried hard restarting my phone, turning on and off again, deleting the app and restarting my phone (the app store says its still there even if I press delete app) and I've even tried going into my settings to delete the app from there, but settings says the apps not even on my phone. | Posted: 10 May 2021 01:16 PM PDT Basically i have an iPhone X that i'd jailbroken with unc0ver that got taken off me in january for reasons i'd not like to discuss. i got it back today and the phone is completely dead, i have no idea whether its because of it being jailbroken and turned off for 4 months. this is post is probably a sort of grey area but does anyone know what i can do to fix it?? The unlocked model number for an xr is A1984. So if I'm buying an xr that is being advertised as AT&T or Verizon as an A1984 model (unlocked model), does that mean that I'll be able to use my T-Mobile sim on that device? Roughly 62% of total storage. I could clear out at most 10 GB of storage to bring it down to 30 GB (now less than 50% overall storage). Does this matter at all for iPhone performance or does performance matter more based on other factors like current IOS version, iPhone condition, etc. etc. I hope storage isn't an issue rather just an inconvenience like I would not be able to add more photos or videos after 64GB without an affect on performance.
