    One thing I feel is undervalued in mobile gaming is time-to-game. It's really not ideal for playing on the go if you have to wait more than a minute to get into something. So I decided to rank the games currently on my iPad by the time it takes to get into the game. Rules:

    • The timer starts when I click the app icon, and ends when "gameplay" begins. Main menu screens do not count.
    • If an app has to update, I let it update and then start over.
    • If the game has a save feature, I load the most recent save instead of starting anew
    • I clicked through menus as fast as I could without looking like a weirdo.
    • Tests done with an iPad Air 4. Make sure to mention your device if you want to add to this list.

    Rankings:

    1. Northgard - 0:13
    2. Soul Knight - 0:15
    3. Bloodstained RotN - 0:25
    4. Genshin Impact - 0:33
    5. Grid: Autosport - 1:05
    6. XCOM 2 - 1:14
    7. Civilization 6 - 1:19

    Worth noting that each individual DLC pack seems to have a huge impact on Civ VI load times. A friend of mine with an ipad 6th gen (a10 bionic vs my a14) loaded Civ ~20 secs faster because he had the two expansions but none of the piecemeal civ DLCs.

    GRID also deserves a special call out for a big chunk of the time being wasted in pointless menu animations and transitions, like many AAA racing games.

    So basically every game i used to play 3+ years ago is now gone, Dungeon Hunter 4 (imo way better than 5), NOVA 3, Eternal Warriors 2, Infinity Blade, Blood&Glory, and many many many others that i cant remember now and am too lazy to dig for, but im sure you know them, 99% of them have been removed and the 1% that stayed got revamped and filled with microtransactions. Anyone knows the valid reason for this except greed ?

    Does anyone know if/when the 2.3.2 update will be added to the HD version of Tiny Wings?

    It's on the SD version, but I have the HD version and it doesn't have the update yet. I'm not sure if anyone on here will know the answer, but I figured it was worth a shot.

    Been playing Genshin Impact and the endgame grind is rather mundane, so I wanted to know if anyone had any recommendations for (j)rpg's that are maybe open world, or have similar play styles to Genshin. Currently, I've got Fantasian on queue but I figured I'm missing titles. Any and all recommendations are welcome, thanks!!!

    -Azur lane (pretty much auto play

    -honkai impact 3rd (yeah it's not auto play though it still works for me)

    COD Mobile Ranked

    So I had a lot of complaints early on about only playing against bots in ranked and everyone kept telling me to just keep ranking up and the bots will disappear, which did start to happen, BUT I got to a point where I can't even find a game anymore. Is this a common thing? Why did it stop finding games? Is the game population that low?

    Among Us Alternative

    Is it normal to get a pop-up for Game Center every time I open a game?

    I have game center disabled and I've downloaded a game called Nitro Jump. If I switch to another app and back again, I get a pop up for game center. It's pretty annoying. Is this IOS or the game doing the hard sell for game center?
