    Anyone else seeing an issue with YouTube not tracking what you've watched, so it's not updating your view history and you can't resume videos where you left off? Mine may not be even remembering what ads I've seen: I've seen the exact same ad for days.

    Seems to have started a few days ago with the most recent update to the app. I've tried deleting/reinstalling YouTube, and the problem came right back. Seeing the same problem on 2 different Apple TVs too.

    Anyone else seeing this?

    Sync issues - FPS and sound

    I noticed that after last update to tvOS 14.5 sometimes after I watch videos via Home Streaming (some h265 ~24 FPS videos stored on Mac mini in Tv app) after a while there is a lip-sync issue.

    When I move forward and backward 15 seconds it corrects itself - but only for few minutes.

    Only then I noticed that some materials use the automatic frame rate correction and change to 24 FPS but some don't and use 50/60 FPS setting instead and I thing that it could be a root of the problem.

    Is there a fix? Is it a known issue? I can't pinpoint why some videos are working okay and some don't, they are all h264 ~24FPS files.

    4K Streaming platforms

    I just purchased a Samsung 4K QLED. I was wondering does the Apple TV automatically convert shows and movies to 4K on streaming platforms? Do I need to change a setting in the apps?

    Apple TV 4K (2017) remote got wet and is freaking out

    Some soda got spilled on the remote and after we dried it off it appeared to work correctly but suddenly started to freak out... randomly scrolling up and down, etc. I put it in a bag of rice to try to dry it out so we'll see if it recovers. I can use my iPhone to control it until we get the remote sorted out but until then how to I stop the remote from controlling the Apple TV? As an aside I'm rather impressed with the range of the remote. From clear across my house it still works ;)

    Apple TV HD Siri remote can’t control tv volume anymore

    Hello, it's been awhile since I've used my Apple TV, and tv in general as I've been busy with work. Well today I was going to play my Xbox and I grabbed the Siri remote to change the volume and I noticed that it's no longer working. The IR receiver light in my TV is blinking when I press either volume button, but the volume doesn't actually change. I don't know if this is something that Apple did, since the release of the new Apple TV 4K. I checked my settings and the "change tv volume with remote" option is on. I updated my Apple TV to the latest software. Has anyone experience this issue?

    Skip ad button gone in the YouTube app??

    I recently have had my "skip" button taken away from ads on my Apple TV Youtube app.

    Now I have to sit and watch the whole ad. Anyone else seeing this? I have found nothing on the internet about this.

    Has anyone received or reviewed the new Apple TV Remote Yet?

    I feel like the #1 thing everyone said they needed (and i said i needed) from Apple TV was a new remote to fix the old one that I and many people dislike. They came out with one. And i've not seen a single human being hold one yet to talk about what it's like and if it is even a fix on the old one. Does anyone know or have the new one and can talk about it?

    Airplay Question

    I frequently connect my iPhone to my Apple TV. Sometimes, it just says the name of my Apple TV on the bottom of the music screen. Other times it shows "iPhone->Apple TV". When it does that it connects more like other Bluetooth devices where the volume of the phone affects the volume being played. When it connects the other way the sound is better, and it is not volume dependent. I cannot find anything online explaining why I get the kind of connection I get. It seems to be random. For context, I'm a teacher, and classrooms in my school have Apple TVs to project to. I use it to play music in my classroom. I have checked if it is when both devices are on the same network or not, and it still seems random. Why does it connect differently sometimes?

    4K movie only playing in 1080p what do I do?

    So I have a Apple TV 4K (not the newest model) I bought The Evil Dead (The Sam Rami version). On the iTunes Store it shows 4K however when looking at the menu it shows it playing only in HD.

    Can Apple TV do 1080p HDR on monitor?

    I have an ASUS PG35VQ monitor that supports HDR10 and HDMI 2.0. The resolution for this monitor is 3440x1440. I know that Apple TV won't support that, but will it be able to do 1080p HDR?

    The reason I ask is because certain devices (like my PS5) supports 1080p HDR, while others (like the Roku Ultra) does not, and will only do HDR in 4K.

    Anyone know if the Apple TV is capable of doing 1080p in HDR?
