    iOS 14.5.1 Safari ads with paid content blockers

    I'm experiencing all the ads on sites like yt where usually content blockers work. Requesting desktop version breaks videos. I've seen some posts in the adguard sub regarding this. I use 1Blocker but has up til this update it has worked. Anyone else experiencing this?

    Face ID with mask???

    Hi, from yesterday i start to notice that my Face ID work now with Mask on....and I'm not using any apple watch. Yes, yesterday I just updated to 14.5 on iPhone Xs. I don't know anybody who has this....features ig....like work for me and don't seems to unlock the phone on anyone else's face.

    I've just Google and i don't find anything about an update for that :)

    I should start worrying?

    [HELP] Apple Music crashes whenever there is Internet connection

    Every time I open Apple Music while my phone is connected to the Internet, it crashes :( Before I updated my iPhone 6 to version 12.5.3, it had crashed consistently this morning (worked 100% fine yesterday). Is there any way to fix this?

    Keep track of battery levels for connected Bluetooth devices

    Hi,

    I have a Bluetooth device I often use with an iPhone X. I'm pretty sure the displayed battery level of that device isn't correct. So I'd like to automatically keep track of it, maybe for the length of one battery cycle, save it and maybe make a graph out of it afterwards. I can look up the current battery level on the widget or on any 3rd party app, but so far I've seen no way to log these values throughout the day.
    Does anyone know any app or other method that can be used for that?

    Hello, I am using iphone XR 128GB. Is it normal? Instagram using 15GB storage? Out of which 14.96GB is cached data. 14.96GB of cached data seems unusual.

    Install apps without Apple ID? Forgotten password, ID locked, & unable to verify identity

    My Apple ID is connected to an email account I no longer have access to. It was set up with information that is not mine/not known to me, and hunting it down will be a huge pain. I'm trying to avoid the hassle.

    Only interested in solutions that are free and do not require jailbreaking. Ideally I'd like to do this all on my phone, without the use of a computer, but I understand that might be my only option.

    If it makes a difference, it's an iPhone 7, iOS version 10.1.1

    i sent a 10gb ZIP file from macbook to ipad and it isnt showing up, did i just lose 10gb ?

    file management is beyond pathetic on ipad, despite being the best tablet on market.

    basically, im not able to locate the zip file of my videos. I cant send one by one as they are in directories of folders and there is a lot of them. And for some good reason, the best tablet on market which happens to be running fastest mobile os CANT ACCEPT FOLDERS.

    Question about Notification volume level

    I just recently got an iPhone 12 Pro Max and it's my first iPhone since the 7. My question is, even though I have the notification sounds all the way up and the facial recognition software off, I can barely hear my text alert and the haptic keyboard and lock sounds vary as I type or lock my phone. Like the first few keyboard clicks are loud then get softer or vice versa. Is this a software issue or should I return my device while I still can?

    iOS 14.5.1 created a problem with ads/content blockers

    Gurus of Reddit, help! After update the ads/content blockers don't work. I tried AdGuard and DNSCLOAK but nothing worked. I tried to analyze the traffic and created the rules to block annoying ads but somehow it became impossible to block those ads that pop up in apps. It worked before as a magic, but apple did something nasty to the new iOS. Anybody has a solution to revive adblockers?

    iPhone 7 battery and performance issues

    After ios 13 and now 14 my iPhone 7 is now starting to become a wired device. It acts as a pocket heater all the time, lasting for about 2 hours light use with 50% screen brightness and background refresh off.

    I would consider upgrading, but for the moment I am just trying to figure out what the heck is going on. I dont want to get a new phone only for it to end up like this after a few years.

    Battery health is 82%, so not great but I dont think its worth it to replace when each update will just increase battery usage by a lot more. Playing a game with 3D graphics I can count the percentage going down

    Also after a reboot the phone will lag for about 5 minutes, just unusable, taking something like 3 minutes of just lagging before it will even ask for sim code

    help with messenger message on startup

    hello all, every time I open messenger app, I get a message that says"messenger needs to restart, the app was restored from an icliud buckup (....) ". the problem is that I have icliud backup turned off.also no setting in messenger settings about syncing or backing up. if I press cancel on than message, the app works fine. I'm afraid of pressing to restart the app option for various reason, like if I'm asked for username/password I dont remember them, or if its a various/Spyware or something. anyone had similar experience ot has any idea what it is? thanks in advance.

    Podcasts not automatically deleting after playing

    I'm running 14.5.1 and I've noticed in the new podcasts app, my downloaded podcasts don't automatically delete after playing. I have this option checked in settings but I noticed podcasts I finished a few days ago still sitting in the downloads folder. I know a couple were marked as saved too, could that be the issue?

    At my job, I have to upload photos to our Instagram Stories. Since we can't do that from the computer, I have to send the photo to myself all the time in Messenger, and then save it to my camera roll. After a while my camera roll is swarming with job photos which I don't like.

    Is there a way to save the photos to a different place than the camera roll, where you still have the ability to upload the photos to Instagram?

    ‪Im facing a lot of issues‬

    ‪- WiFi drops, someones when I lock the screen, I turn it back on, the WiFi signal drops all while the icon is still on the top screen‬

    ‪-Airdrop flat out doesnt work if I dont restart the phone‬

    ‪-I can reply from the notification bar on whastapp‬

    Any way to turn down facetime speaker volume?

    When I'm on a facetime call on my iPhone it uses the speaker audio output but sets it to full volume. My phone is right in front of me I don't need the person yelling at me. Can I turn them down?

    Obviously the system volume doesn't change anything.

    Trusted Phone Numbers

    Hi, I ran across "Trusted Phone Numbers" in my Apple settings. Right now I have my phone number listed (which I expect). Would it be beneficial to add my wife's cell phone number (and my number to hers)? We each have our own Apple ID on our respective phones. I am not clear when these trusted numbers are used and what are they used for.

    Seriously, how is it this terrible? Currently where I am all other sites reporting air pollution and pollen are in the moderate to very high.

    Meanwhile, breezeometer says zero pollen at all and no issues will particulate matter or pollution at all.

    This needs to be fixed. Apple you have ignored the weather app for far too long it need accurate data for pollution, pollen, UV danger, and active radar and Doppler.

    The iOS weather app should be the best not the pathetic pile or uselessness it is now.
