    I bought iPhone 12 Black like a month ago and i noticed that the camera bump/ring paint is chipping off. Anyone has the same problem? What caused it? And anyone found a way to remove it or to make it less less visible

    I was swimming when I felt my pocket and noticed my phone was in it so I removed it as quickly as possible. Everything seems fine, but should I go and get it check out by an expert?

    Apple pen not working

    I've had this Apple Pen for a year and a half or so and it used to work really well, now even when it says it's connected it usually doesn't work. It will work after going to Bluetooth, forgetting the device, and attempting to pair once or twice, THEN jogging it by making circles until it magically comes on. Then, once the device has been turned off, it disconnects again and I have to redo the process next time. Does anyone else experience this? Are there any possible solutions?

    Edit: It's also not the tip part not being screwed on properly as I always check that.

    Edit 2: It also won't let me just disconnect completely and use my finger to write. Please help I'm doing something I can't just type out.

    I think I deleted the startup disk when wiping my MacBook clean, and now I need to make a new one in order to reinstall macOS

    To be clear, I am not trying to recover my data. I purposely deleted and wiped all my data and everything clean from the MacBook because I am giving it to someone else. So in Disk Utility I was following apples instructions for factory restoring, but after I deleted the AFPS volumes, I then repeated the same thing a second time, and this deleted another thing which I think was a disk.

    So now, when I go into the disk utility to select "reinstall macOS", it takes me through the instructions and when it gets to the "select a disk to install macOS on", there is nothing in the list.

    So is there some way I can make a new Disk, or a new AFPS volume, or a new whatever it is I need to reinstall Mac OS?

    Sudden loss of MacBook Air 2017 functionality

    I had this issue about 2 months ago and somehow it self resolved but it is back again out of the blue..

    Basically, some of my applications automatically go unresponsive and close. I am able to move my cursor around and it will click, but there will be no right click menus shown and nothing happens. For example, clicking on Safari on the dock does not open it, nor does right clicking the icon provide any response. After clicking a few times, the icons then disappear from the dock completely! I have no functionality and can not use any applications.

    Things I have tried: 1) Software updates + turning off and on. 2) Switching user accounts (this fixes the issue but I lose access to things that matter to me on my main account obviously). 3) Safe mode. This fixes the issue in this setting. 4) SMC rest. Doesn't do anything. 5) Reset NVRAM/PRAM. Doesn't do anything. 6) Checked by Geek Squad at Best Buy to confirm no hardware issues. 7) Erasing the entire internal SSD and restoring from time machine backup after factory reset (which involves reinstalling Big Sur as well). This does not solve the issue.

    I am not only wondering how to fix this, but what are my next options? Is there someone that can identify and fix a software issue like this? From what I am aware of, Apple does not do this? Do I get a new SSS? Am I only left with the option of buying a new MacBook?

    iPad settings not loading and not connecting to internet.

    Hello, I'm in need of help for my iPad (Pro 12.9 inch, 2nd Gen, software version 14.4.2).

    There is a notification in my settings for "Review Apple ID Phone Number," but whenever I press on it, it will freeze and never load. When I go to the main Apple ID settings without the notification, it won't allow me to go to "Name, Phone Numbers, Email" or "Password & Security." I haven't been able to connect to the Apple Support because the verification code they send to sign in is accessed through the "Password & Security" tab.

    I don't own any other apple products, just the iPad and pencil, which I've only had for longer than a year. I can't connect to the internet, though my wifi is working. I haven't been able to connect my fully-charged apple pencil, but it connects fine with bluetooth headphones.

    When I tap on the "name, phone numbers, email" tab, it wont load, will prevent me from tapping other tabs, and can't be undone unless I close the settings app. I bought the iPad off ebay as it was refurbished, but didn't have any troubles with it until now. I would like to keep photos on my iPad too, as a lot of them are of my late dog, and I don't know if they are backed up to the iCloud or not. I'll do my best to back up my pictures onto my laptop (chromebook) but aside from that I'm willing to do anything else to be able to have the iPad back to normal.

    My dad (more experience with Android than Apple) suggested to clear cache or something similar. I already deleted over 1000 pictures in hope of making more room for storage, and I now have 765 photos and 213 videos. The settings say it has 512 GB capacity, but 398.03 GB available. I'm considering going to a store to see if they can fix it, but I'd rather make sure to see if there's anything the community here can find.

    Please help. I don't know what went wrong, and I'm looking for serious support for my device. I appreciate anything. Good week to all!

    Issues with apple id's on a new iPhone

    I just got my first iPhone and I need to add or create an account on it. Currently, I have three completely different accounts, using three different Gmail's. How this happened, I have no idea. Two of the Gmail's are connected to my Apple TV, one has a CC attached to it and the other has content attached to it.

    The third Gmail has nothing linked to it, but for some reason, I created an apple id with it.

    My question is what should I do/use? Do I just pick one of those three Gmail accounts and delete the other two?

    Or do I create a whole new icloud account with my new iPhone and delete those other three?

    Also, how will imessage and FaceTime me used? How do people connect with me? Is it through my phone number or through my email?

    Fyi, I still plan on connecting those emails to my phone, because I actually use them.

    Thoughts?

    support not refunding two items

    i accidentally bought a 10 dollar item, in a game i play, when meaning to buy a 5 dollar one. i explained (twice) that i didn't mean to buy it, and both times, support said no.

    i also have another thing (stardew valley) that i did purchase, but didn't like. i explained, twice, and to no surprise, i wasn't allowed. both of these were in the 14 day time frame aswell, and i even refunded a 20 dollar item, which wasn't in the time frame, yet it got accepted.

    anyone know how to get support to accept those?

    11 pro max service isn’t working at all

    So for whatever reason my phone service has been gone. I'll get from 4 bars to zero fast, I'd also get 1x sometimes. I can't make calls and can only use the internet and text while on WiFi. I did all the resets and nothing. I went to Verizon and they only took the SIM card out and put it back in and still nothing. He said to call the network department. I called and said to bypass this I'd have to upgrade. Which I think is kinda bs when it's been working fine for the almost 2 years. Now saying to pay $150 Any advice on what to do or just pay for it ?

    iPhone SE Powering Off At 20%

    Hi all. My iPhone SE (2nd gen) keeps turning off whilst the battery is between 20 and 30 percent without warning. When it turns back on the battery reads 10%. I have had it since December and the battery health is 100%. It's been doing this for a few weeks and I was wondering if there are any ways I can fix this without having to send it in to get repaired. Thanks.

    Apple Watch Features with Macbook

    Is this an option where the watch can control my Mac? I know it can sync to my phone and control 'now playing' and a few other features on that, however I have not figured out how it interfaces with my Mac- the main use with my Mac is for unlocking automatically. Are there other features I am not using or unaware of?

    If not, this should be a feature. It doesn't seem like the watch does much with my Mac otherwise and they should change that! Thanks in advance everyone!

    Force WiFi calling with eSIM data

    Hi folks, I'm having a bit of a situation with a Sprint SIM and a foreign eSIM while traveling abroad in my iPhone 12

    My US carrier offers WiFi calling, and have been using it for years. The easy way to know it works, is by placing a call while on airplane mode and wifi on.

    While traveling abroad, I activated a local eSIM for data, it works great, allowing me to use that line for FaceTime and all. The issue is that I can't get my primary line to switch to wifi calling using the eSIM data, instead, it picks up a local network and stays there, active to receive calls via cell tower.

    I have isolated the issue: while apple permits using the eSIM data to 'fuel' primary line wifi calling , it does it only when you cannot roam. In other words, it has to show "no service" in order to switch to wifi mode. Much like with airplane mode.

    Sine my US carrier allows roaming, it will connect to whatever carrier is available and stay there. Only after connecting to a wifi network myself the primary line switches to wifi calling, like at home.

    Any workaround for this ?

    Apple Watch and iPhone Charging Status

    Is there a feature where, if I'm charging my phone, my watch can give me the battery percentage of the phone? Or on the flip, if I'm charging my watch, the status shows up on my phone?

    If not, this should be a feature!

    Be it Safari, Feedly, or any other app, when I tap share then tap the Twitter icon, the icon enlargees very slightly and then shrinks. As if it wants to open but can't. It's quite bizarre. I have since updated my phone and nothing changed.

    USB-C hub that actually works?

    Is there a USB-C hub that actually works well? I have tried 3 different ones and all of them seem to suffer from flickering monitors and USB-A devices randomly not working and then working (super annoying for mice and keyboards).

    I just need a way to connect two monitors and a mouse to my MacBook Pro.

    No service after moving business line to eSIM

    I have a company iPhone 12, and used the dual sim feature to get out of carrying a Note 20u and this. Moved my physical sim for my personal and my business line to the eSIM. Business line hasn't had service all day. No SMS, iMessage or calls.

    I have data switching on, so it should at least be allowing data to come in. It's the cellular line, and my phone has had to switch to personal data all day.

    Does ATT need to turn something on for me on the business account?

    New iPhone stuck on spinning wheel.

    I bought a new iPhone 12 yesterday and I set it up and all worked well. Today I tried to change the wallpaper and I got stuck on a black screen with e spinning wheel. I tried to hard reset it and it put me back into a working Lock Screen but as soon as I logged in it gave me the spinning wheel again. What do I do?

    iPhone 7 will not turn on

    My iPhone 7 ran out of charge and when I plugged it in it showed that it was charging but after about half an hour it still wasn't charged and now doesn't even show that its charging when plugged in. It's completely unresponsive.
