    Can I edit the GPS data on my photos in bulk?

    Hi, I have a bit of a strange work flow with my photos but basically I transfer everything from my Panasonic FZ330 to my phone to then be able to backup to cloud storage etc.

    The problem is that the FZ330 doesn't have GPS location unless you pair it with the app before taking each photo, meaning I have thousands of photos in my library without any GPS data.

    Can anyone please recommend a way to quickly and easily update this? Preferably by selecting multiple files and updating them that way. To be honest I'm not particularly fussy about the details but if I can just select a bunch and tag the city that would be more than enough for me.

    Do automatic iOS updates even work? (iPhone)

    Since I got this iPhone a year ago I have never once had an update install or download on its own. I have always had to manually do it, any reason why that is??

    Bluetooth connectivity with 14.4.2

    Two days ago my iPhone XR started having a bizarre problem with Bluetooth where it's turning itself on and off constantly, nonstop, every 5-15 seconds. I've done a network reset and forgotten my devices, which I now can't reconnect because BT won't stay on long enough to pair them. It also only seems to be happening when I'm at my apartment — BT pairs fine in my car and at my work. The only thing I've noticed is under "Other devices" on the BT settings, some new devices I assume my neighbors have are popping up ("Desktop-KMUTBPH" and some Samsung TV). Any ideas? I updated to 14.4.2 after I noticed the problem, thinking that might fix it but alas. I'm very irritated I can't use my AirPods or any other wireless headphones and it's driving me insane. Thank you!

    Pulling my hair out over 'other' storage.

    It's currently sitting at over 23GB and increases if I delete anything to fill any and all 'new' storage space.

    I have tried everything that I can find online to no avail.

    Are there any other lesser known tips or tricks to help?

    I’ve got a random photo taken at 5:16 AM today, there was no one to take it and no evidence of a break in at all. I’m so confused

    I'm new to the iPhone and have a quick question. Oftentimes I'm several pages deep into the Settings and swiping backwards a number of times to get back to the main Settings page is getting old. Is there a quick gesture I can perform to get back to the main Settings page with one motion?

    Not receiving texts from certain people specifically / group chats missing texts

    Is anyone having these issues with iMessage? For example, there are like two friends of mine who whenever they text me, I don't receive their texts.... at all. They don't show in the convo.

    Additionally, I'm having an issue where some texts in group message conversations are not showing. For example, I'll get a notification that someone "liked" or "emphasized" a message that i never received, and then when I open the GC, the message just isn't there.

    Anyone have either of these issues and know how to troubleshoot them? Thanks

    I can not open a text file attached to an email, not with Pages or Numbers. Is there a Windows NotePad equivalent function/app on iPadOS?

    I received a file of scientific spectrographic specs info with a file extension of .DX. It's pure text, but can't open it as text with anything to see it. Suggestions, please?

    Accidentally clicked on a suspicious website, how worried should I be? (iPhone 8, Safari)

    I accidentally clicked on a link on about.me that opened and redirected to a suspicious website. I checked multiple security websites later and only Norton and SSL Trust came up with orange and red results, namely Cyan and Fortinet, who claim it's a malicious and phishing site. As seen in the link, the other 80+ results, including GoogleSafeBrowsing, Kaspersky and Avira, claim it's a clean site however, so I'm very confused.

    I was on Safari and immediately closed the tab when it redirected and I saw the suspicious URL. I cleared Safari's history and website data afterwards and turned off and restarted the iPhone (I also updated the iOS system yesterday) but is there still anything to worry about? So far, I haven't noticed anything strange but still, is there a way to find out whether my phone is compromised now? Any help would be appreciated.

    iPhone Storage Problem

    I have all the photos/videos on my iPhone backed up to iCloud and the option to 'Optimize iPhone Storage' is also ticked but still the Photos app takes 21GBs on my iPhone. How do I clear that storage?

    Can someone recommend a loud alarm audio?

    I like to use my ringer volume on the lowest setting to still have an audio clue what just made my phone vibrate. The downside is of course the really low alarm clock volume (except for the sleep schedule alarm via the Health app).

    Can someone recommend a very loud sound file to import via GarageBand?

    I tried raising the volume of my sounds and songs but looks like GarageBand is limited in how much I can push the volume. I was hoping to fix that by importing an already loud file.

    Why isn't my iPhone able to install iOS 14.4.2?

    • I have an iPhone 6s Plus
    • I have cleared more than the required storage needed to install the update
    • I manage to get to the point where it tries to verify the update, but every time it says there is an error. What is going on, and how do I fix it?

    Asking Siri to play songs

    So I asked Siri to "play is it just me by Sasha Sloan" and she said "now playing is it just me featuring Charlie puth by Sasha Sloan"

    How do I. Like there's no other way for me to phrase it, right? I personally don't like CP so don't have ANY of his songs in my library so no idea why Siri thought it was a grand idea to choose this version.

    Is there a way to get Siri to play original? Or to avoid 'feat'?

    March is over, there is nothing from apple this month. I can't wait because this update will be amazing. I can't wait to unlock my iPhone with the Watch and Apple to fix the green glow of the iPhone 12s screens with this update! So, when will they release it... What are your predictions? 🤩

    How does iOS detect data breaches for passwords and logins?

    Basically, I was looking up a password on my iPhone when I was greeted with a warning that pretty much all of my logins and passwords have been compromised due to a data leak.

    I've changed all of my passwords, but my iPhone warned me about a month ago that my password was part of a data breach, but I can't find this information on haveibeenpwned or credit karma's data breach information. So how does Apple know, but two other reliable sources don't? Also I pay for an identity theft security service that has all of my passwords stored and they haven't detected a data breach. So again, where is Apple getting their information. I changed my passwords to be safe, but I just want to know.

    I've been using the gmail app because I liked being able to long touch a message to enter selection mode so I can delete a lot of messages at once.

    Today I accidentally tapped with two fingers in the Apple mail app and it entered select mode. This this means I can delete gmail. It's a game changer. Maybe I'm weird. I really prefer Apple's mail app.
