Like I keep my phone on my person about 99% of the time. So to see or hear that my emails, social media accounts, photos, etc are being accessed by others without permission from me. I saw that my phone was being used for a hotspot earlier on a website. It was weird seeing the same Twitter faces on another site. I also noticed that my IP address is being used. I'm seriously frustrated about this because it invades my privacy and no one other than me seems to give a fuck. Could anyone assist with ways to help others find their necks since my phone is collecting them? [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 08 Mar 2021 03:32 PM PST Was on my phone when my Doctor office called, notification said 'Potential Spam', so I swiped up to ignore it and let it go to voicemail. Office leaves message saying they'll call back in a few. Text their number and added to my contacts, then tried calling back, but not helpful because it sends you to their useless directory. Was forwarded to their main offices which told me that they had called me back two more times, but I did not receive any notifications on my phone. I'm pretty sure it blocked them, is their anyway to undo this on my phone. I'm aware of the red 'Block This Caller' text on the contact information page for their number, and I'm thinking about toggling that on them back off to see if that helps. I have the latest one in blue 256gb and after a update it won't turn sideways, have tried forcerestarting using media buttons and turning off and on again and be anyone asks I KNOW screen lock orientation is not on in control center [link] [comments]  |

The keyboard still lags despite apple claiming it's fixed, and I constantly get that 3 finger edit bar menu coming up when I'm typing with just two thumbs. Posted: 08 Mar 2021 03:45 PM PST So for the last two weeks, every single day at some point Read Reciepts turns itself off in the text conversation with my girlfriend. I've had read Reciepts off in settings, but enabled for her number for the last year with zero issues. Does anyone have this issue? This just COMPLETELY used my data for the month and I did not consent to downloading any of this crap! I hate to sound like a Karen but honestly Apple owes me, I did not consent to downloading 20 apps I haven't had since 2019. It didn't ask me it just downloaded them by itself. My question is why????? Over the past week or so I've noticed my iPhone feeling overheated (but no temperature message) and the phone battery draining fast. The phone just get hot when I am using it (usually I'm on Reddit at the time bc that's mostly what I use on my phone) The maximum capacity of the battery is still at 93%. | Posted: 08 Mar 2021 01:29 PM PST Daily at the same time I'm getting an error with the maps shortcut and the little preview box shows at the top but instead of the "play" button it's the "stop" square button and then stays on the screen and makes the app unusable. (Maps shows up on all apps with the shortcut) To get it to work, I have to open the app without the shortcut or go out to view all the apps (like how you'd hard quit) and then go back to the app and it works. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it? Hard reset of the phone doesn't work. I'm wondering if I try and make the maps shortcut again. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 08 Mar 2021 11:02 AM PST Hello. I have an Iphone 5S 16GB. Its storage has always been full, as expected, but I figured I could do something to free it up. Here's the thing. I do have an Ipad with 128GB that has stored most of the media that I have. The pictures/videos from the Ipad, are also downloaded to the Iphone, around 5000 of them. I want to delete those Icloud photos/videos that were "auto" downloaded from Icloud, without deleting them on the Ipad, from where the files originated. Is it possible? So pretty much, I want to delete only the Icloud content from the phone, not damage/delete the files on the Ipad, and also preserve the pictures I took with the Iphone that haven't been uploaded to Icloud. Sorry if my question it's foolish, but I wasn't able to find an easy solution anywhere else. I should also note that I've tried moving all the [Icloud] footage to my PC, but it doesn't work properly since there are only a few folders with bits and pieces, and the huge media remains in that small storage, untouched. Hopefully with enough feedback they will change this. iOS 14.4 Iphone Xr iMessage or messages version unsure how to find it Sorry if I am explaining this poorly. I want to figure out How to show the specific message a person replied to regardless if they are replying to a reply. Lets say I write and send 3 messages. 1) trees 2) cars 3)sky My friend also using iMessage writes snow and then replies by holding down on the word Cars >clicks reply and writes their response. Their response is trains. My iMessage shows my original text Cars in a grey box with their word Trains underneath. If I press and hold on the word Trains and click reply, when I send it the reply shows Cars with an option to expand to see the entire message history. This continues regardless if they then reply to other replies. This is a nightmare for me when we message many questions and sometimes do many replies. After a few questions they may respond and I have no idea what they are replying to because it only shows the very first message that started the replies aka Cars in this example. | Posted: 08 Mar 2021 07:59 AM PST I have an iPhone 8s and today I accidentally dropped it and in trying to save it from falling I made it fall even harder on the floor. immediately afterward my phone's display for most of the part was gone while there were some black lines in some part I tried looking at it and then the screen went completely blank. it fell on its back and it had a cover a sturdy one at that but the tempered glass on my screen was completely cracked and when I removed it there was a small scratch on the screen too. can my phone get fixed and if yes for how much [link] [comments]  |
