    Hello everybody, after forever of talking with other devs from friends and other sources, I have now found a new developer to take over the project. I made this update post for him since he doesn't use Reddit currently.

    He currently doesn't have a place to host the new yt reborn he made, so I uploaded it to a temp repo for him, url is at the bottom of the post. He is hoping to get it on Packix or another repo soon.

    If I ever come to power, the usage of Pinterest will be a crime punishable exclusively by public execution.

    [News] MYbloXX for iOS + u0 issues | Manual install...

    Hello world! Before I get started, I'd like to clarify that in no way am I bashing unc0ver or u/_pwn20wnd. I'm more than appreciative of the teams work and dedication to the community. This is purely for awareness and educational purposes.

    Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to address some issues with MYbloXX for iOS and the latest u0 versions.

    As of u0 6.0.1, it appears there are issues with it being able to execute bash commands during/after installation of MYbloXX for iOS (and any other tweak that has bash commands in its pre/post inst scripts for that matter).

    ​

    6.0.0 does NOT have this issue... From 6.0.1 onwards (including the latest 6.1.1 as of this writing), the issue persists yet seems to be sporadic. Unfortunately, I'm unable to replicate the installation/uninstall issue that some are having which makes this a little difficult to pinpoint (and oddly doesn't make sense) but considering this issue started post 6.0.1, it has to have something to do with u0 and/or something core related... From what I can gather, it looks like u0 is unable to perform tasks that require root permissions so it's possible there's still a CoreTrust issue (which should've been corrected in 6.0.1). A thread here shows the same issue.

    If you receive this error message installing/uninstalling MYbloXX for iOS, first try REBOOTING and attempt to install/uninstall again (this may take a few attempts). Some people have found that they're able to (un)install in safe mode and/or jailbreaking with tweaks disabled (or both). If that doesn't work, continue reading - There is a temporary solution below.

    Many long time/current users will know that this isn't the image I wanted for MYbloXX for iOS and although completely out of my control, I'd still like to apologize for any sour experiences you may have had recently due to this... I strive to always be consistent, offer a stable product and provide the upmost respect/quick support for any users... Regardless, fingers crossed we get a u0 update soon that will take care of all of this :)

    Later today, I'll likely push an update/new package to the MYXXdev repo that will remove some of the script from pre/post-inst until this issue is resolved to at least allow installation.

    If you are able to install MYbloXX for iOS, you'll find that the buttons inside of Settings (Settings - MYbloXX for iOS), appear to be broken (which makes sense because they're also linked to execute a .sh)... For the time-being, you'll have to perform the buttons task manually (see below for instructions on how to spoof/revert supervision status).

    For those that are unable to install the package itself, you do have the option of installing MYbloXX for iOS without the package temporarily... This does require some knowledge of Filza and tinkering of system files so before I proceed:

    PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

    ​

    Tinkering with system files OUTSIDE of the following steps can result in a BOOT LOOP (which will require restoring to the latest signed iOS). The following steps are 100% SAFE if you stick to the script... Basically, what I'm saying is, don't go tinkering with anything ADDITIONAL thinking it may help/fix another issue you're having. HIGHLY DANGEROUS!

    Steps to install MYbloXX for iOS manually in its current state with u0:

    ​

    1. Install Filza File Manager
    2. Navigate to /var/containers/Shared/SystemGroup/systemgroup.com.apple.configurationprofiles/Library/ConfigurationProfiles
    3. Click on CloudConfigurationDetails.plist -> Root
    4. Locate the IsSupervised key and tap the "i" - Toggle the NO value to YES -> Back -> Save -> Done
    5. REBOOT your device... Yes, REBOOT (not respring). Your device is now in a spoofed supervised status.
    6. In SAFARI, navigate to https://myxxfm.com/install - Slide to install the profile and follow the prompts for the profile installation process.
    7. Once you have installed the profile, if you'd like to revert the spoofed supervision status/remove the message at the top of Settings, repeat steps 2-4, changing the key value back to NO. RESPRING to finalize.

    The above steps will get you by until this issue has been fully resolved. Of course, you won't have any of the options in Settings - MYbloXX for iOS to report ads/issues and you're missing TabBlocker functionality (which won't be an issue for iOS 14 anyway as it hasn't been updated yet) but you'll at least be able to use the ad-blocking features of MYbloXX for iOS until you can install the package correctly. When that time comes, I'll be sure to post here to keep everybody in the loop.

    A lot of you might not know, but THIS APP is basically an App Store released version of the previous, discountinued tweak Serial. Let's you search serial number, iOS version, warranty, you name it. I'm surprised more people don't know about it. Very useful in my opinion and I know a lot of you did use Serial for a while.

    I am visually impaired so I use voiceover to navigate my jailbroken iPhone. The terminal apps that are in Cydia are not voiceover accessible. When you enter a command VoiceOver doesn't read what's on the screen. I would appreciate if anyone with development experience can make a voiceover accessible terminal. Thank you

    [Question] Kalm & Weather doesn't update automatically on iOS 14.

    I have an iPhone 12 Pro with iOS 14.3 using UO 6.1.0. I have the Weather widget installed and found Kalm doesn't show the temperature properly. It shows the temperature but a value of the past.

    .

    And here's what I found:

    Even when the Weather widget shows 7 degrees, inside the app itself is still 4 degrees (value of the past). As soon as I open the weather app, it immediately updates to 7 from 4. I can see the value changes in a second. And after that, Kalm starts to show the proper temperature.

    .

    So it seems like Kalm uses the value inside the Weather app rather than getting the info itself, but the Weather app doesn't refresh automatically unless I open it manually. It's odd that the widget updates well and shows the current temperature well.

    .

    Location setting of Weather in Settings is set to "While Using the App or Widgets." There's no "Always" option to choose.

    Background App Refresh is turned on in Settings as well.

    .

    I agree that it's more of how Weather works, but since it only becomes a matter when you use Kalm to see the temperature, I put "Kalm" in the title of this thread. If you don't use Kalm, how the Weather works will not be a problem.

    .

    If what I'm assuming is correct, Kalm won't be able to show the temperature properly unless the developer updates Kalm to get the temperature info from the widget or other source, or somehow make the Weather app refreshes automatically without manually opening it.

    .

    So far, it looks like a problem with the Weather app itself, but I wonder why I don't see anyone talking about this issue. If you're using Kalm without any problems on iOS14 and iPhone 12 series, it'd be great if you upload your settings.

    To check it for yourself:

    1. Jailbreak with unc0ver

    2. You can use NonceSet143 to check your current generator and ApNonce

    3. The generator is randomized instead of being set with unc0ver.

    EDIT: confirmed to be a bug in dimentio! u0 sets it fine.

    I am aware that a lot of apps track you and exchange info with Facebook, Google etc.

    what steps can I do to stop this?

    in addition to ios settings for max privacy, i currently spoof my UDID, clear cookies, use pihole to block ads, but how can i say block an app from getting my facebook info from the instagram app? or have different apps get different UDIDs

    what else should i be doing? is it possible to firewall apps?
