[Update] Updated a few of my tweaks | Bug fixes, iOS 14 support

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 10:42 PM PST

I took some time today to update some of my tweaks, fixing bugs, and adding support for iOS 14.

    Repo: https://galactic-dev.github.io

    Twitter: @dev_galactic

    Donation links: PayPal & Venmo

Here are the tweaks I updated:

    StreakNotifications

    • Added a 💯 emoji for when your snapchat streak reaches day 100
    • Original post here

    Yulkari

    • Added support for certain apps not working like Twitter
    • I never made a release post for this tweak so here's an explanation
      • Yulkari gives you the options to open in-app web pages directly in Safari, while automatically closing the browser tab in the app. And the option to automatically close the browser tab in the app when the Open-in-Safari button is pressed.
    • Open source here

    NotFinical

    • Added iOS 14 support
    • Original post here

[Request] IUSB - Use your phone as a USB Stick for any computer without ITunes or extra software.

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 05:19 AM PST

IUSB allows you to access a certain folder from your IPhone from the Computer, like you plugged a USB Stick in.

No need for ITunes or other software to access a folder, read and write.

I'm not sure if it is better to share the files from the Files App or over a new App. Also a "Protection" would be cool, that the computer can access the folder as soon as you unlock the phone.

This tweak is good for places where you just want to transfer some files over, like you want to present your PowerPoint on the teachers computer and instead of loosing the USB Stick or logging into some Cloud you just plug your phone in.

Edit: I heard about an other use saw which should break any border for coolness: Install windows from you iPhone. Or use a live Linux running from the phone disk on a computer.

Hope some devs like the idea ... (: This would be so cool

[Discussion] I upgraded to the 12 pro on release day, giving up a jailbroken iPhone 7. A few days ago I ran unc0ver on my new phone but only today did I go about installing tweaks, thinking do I really need to? The latest iOS has a lot of stuff already, but then...

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 09:30 PM PST

I went to my jailbreak photo album where I keep screenshots of all the ones I've installed in the past and was just scrolling through and my heart went pitter patter as I remembered all the tweaks I love but had forgotten, stuff like wintermode, watchsounds, snapper2, shiftcycle, and so many more. I'm back and will stay here as long as possible! Thanks to all of you who keep making tweaks and to the people who make jailbreaking possible.

[Upcoming] [Beta] Pigment 2 - Add some color to your device. Built for iOS 14.

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 08:48 AM PST

Add some color to your device.

To celebrate the new ability to jailbreak iOS 14, I'm introducing Pigment 2. With Pigment 2, you have the ability to colorize notifications, icon context menus, and the Lock Screen player to match the icon or artwork or use your own custom color.

    Changes

Pigment 2, a reformed version of its predecessor, Pigment, is built with iOS 14 in mind. Because of this, you might be asking what changes have happened. Well, let's discuss this.

    • The option to Colorize Widgets has been removed, as this feature is deemed obsolete in iOS 14+.
    • The appearance picker has gone through massive internal changes!* Not only does it use the iOS 14 wallpaper, but it now reflects your user interface style. In other words, it now supports Dark Mode.
    • One of the most requested features has been added: the ability to Colorize Icon Context Menus. Now, when you 3D-Touch or long-press on an icon, you are greeted with a beautiful blur matching the application icon.
    • Don't worry, there is something special for those who like consistency. Pigment 2 now offers the option to Use a Custom Pigment Color. As one of the first tweaks to use the new native iOS 14 color picker, it simply makes sense. Pigment 2 blends in with the system—that's just how it's supposed to be.

    * - Due to this, you may need to reconfigure some settings for Pigment 2. Don't worry, just like Pigment, setting up Pigment 2 is simple and easy. Spend time looking at the colors you love, not the black SpringBoard loading screen you don't.

    Preview & Updates

    Beta Testing

Want to try out Pigment 2 before the rest of the community? Send me a message, and I'll tell you how to get started! 👀

    Other Notes

With all this in mind, it should be transparently stated that Pigment 2 will be an exclusive release to iOS 14+. This means support for prior iOS versions will be dropped.

Pigment 2 will be available on Packix soon™. Okay, but there's still one question I know you are asking yourself. Don't be coy, I know you're thinking about it. 😏 All right, here it is: Pigment 2 will be free.

    Are you ready for it?

[TIP]Unban your self from mostly every app

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 11:59 AM PST

You need two useful jb apps:

    • icleaner pro

    • apps manager

As people know apple doesn't allow devs to grab static identifiers anymore such as imei mac address serial udid etc only uuid I believe which is easy to spoof or get rid of it because its stored in a file in the cache.

All you have to do is:

    • wipe the app with apps manager which completely wipes it under normal circumstances deleting an app from general storage doesn't completely remove the files this is only possible jailbroken obviously.

    • change your ip address which is easy if you have a custom router firmware similar to openwrt by using the mac spoofing method to tell the isp dhcp server your router is new so it assigns you a new ip. Most routers support mac cloning/spoofing but if it doesn't openwrt is an option.

    • most important part never use the same phone number because this is usually how it knows your the same person you need to either pay for a new number or use a burner.

    • use a fresh new email for the account

    • optional but you can run an icleaner pro wipe on top of everything else for good measure

You should be completely unbanned when you login. I used this method to bypass bans on various social media apps that supposedly "hardware ban" which is them putting some uuid hash in a plist file so its easily circumvented.

[Discussion] What problems are you having?

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 08:11 PM PST

    Hey all!

Looking to make a thread where we can post some of our problems and the rest of us can chime in with solutions if we know them!

I see lots of people's posts go unanswered and wanted to help those that go unnoticed. I'll do my best to help those that I can, and I'm happy to learn as I go along.

I have the free time, and figure I may as well be constructive with it. I just came across a post where someone wanted to change the keyboard sounds and that made me want to, so I took the time to figure that out and now I'm curious what else people would like done.

[HELP] Is there anything to address the Jetsam limits on iOS 14?

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 12:54 PM PST

Since Cr4shed was updated started to see a lot of jetsam errors within system services. "The process was terminated for exceeding jetsam memory limits". If the wrong service was terminated that could cause my reboot issues. Anything to address said limits?

[Paid Release] SmartBattery 2! The ultimate tweak to monitor, save and tune your battery is now live on Packix repo!

    Posted: 06 Mar 2021 11:39 AM PST

SmartBattery 2 is here! The successor of one of the best battery customizing, saving, monitoring and tuning tweak!
Your phone is smart, but your battery isn't!SmartBattery 2 is the only thing standing in your way to have the complete smartphone!SmartBattery 2 is hands down the best tweak to save your battery life with very smart features which are:

    Global Settings:

1- Enable LPM: you get to choose on which percentage level LPM will get activated once your device reaches that level LPM is be enabled by default without your interaction!
2- SmartBattery 2 can also notify you when your iPhone's battery level reaches a certain percentage you choose and when it's reached you get notified via notification or voice alert! Yes, voice alert the phone will speak to you when it battery percentage reaches your desired level! You can easily know when your battery's full so you remove it from the charger in order to save your battery life or if you've been busy and forget about the battery life you can set it to notify when it reaches any percentage you'd think is safe.
3- Alert on Full: Sends notification when iPhone is fully charged.
4- Speak on Full: Speaks a specific sentence you configure it below when your phone is fully charged.
5- No alert banner: disables the annoying alert when phones reaches 20% and replaces it with a notification banner.
6- No Auto-Lock: disables auto-lock when LPM is enabled.
7- Force LPM (charging): Forces LPM to stay activated when charging and the phone reaches 80%, iOS disables it by default.
8- Show Batteries: Long press the battery icon in the status bar to get battery percentage of your iPhone and all connected Bluetooth devices.
9- Tap LPM: Tap the battery icon to enable or disable LPM (if LPM is already enabled it will disable it and vice versa)

    Custom Interval:

Enable LPM interval: adjust the slider for two preferred percentage within this percentage LPM is always available, this option overrides the first LPM option.

    Battery Health:

1- Swipe right: swipe right on the status bar to see the current health and status of your battery like:
Serial number, battery health, temperature, battery cycle, charger name and if the charger is original Apple charger or not and at which wattage it's charging.
2- Disconnect Health: shows the current status and health of your battery when you disconnect the charger.
3- Charge estimation: gets an estimation of how much time left until your device is fully charged when it's plugged into a charger.
4- Temperature monitoring: Monitors the battery temperature when it reaches the set threshold you will be notified via notification.
5- Enable LPM Threshold enables LPM when the battery temperature reaches your threshold in order to help with your battery temperature.
6- Enable Airplane Threshold: enables airplane mode what that temperature threshold is reached in order to help with your battery temperature.
7- WiFi/Data threshold: turns off Data and WiFi when that temperature threshold is reached in order to help with your battery temperature.

    Customize Battery:

Customize the battery icon in the status bar, like adding percentage inside of it, changing and modifying the battery icon color and shape, show battery digits instead of the battery icon.

    Charging:

1- Smart Charging: Enables LPM when phone starts charging and disables it when it stops (charges faster).

2- LPM Notification (charging): Send notification when a specified percentage is reached when charging.

3- LPM Sound (charging): make iPhone speak when a specified percentage is reached when charging.

4- Fast charging: fast charging turns on airplane mode and LPM and turns off Wifi and all other connections in order to charge faster and enables them back when charger is unplugged.

    Boost Battery:

1- Boost options: Swipe left on the status bar in order to enable several battery boost options like disable Data and WiFi for specific time interval, enable them back for specific time then off again (loop).

2- This basically disables WiFi and Data for a specific time in minutes you specify and enable them back when time is passed, then after they get enabled for the time specified they will turn back off, it's basically a loop to make your phone save battery by turning off cellular radio and WiFi but fetches notifications from time to time.

3- Boost battery: Boost battery life by making iOS things that the phone is not under load at all so no need to the power hungry cpu cores to get activated or frequency boost.

4- SmartWiFi: disables mobile data when phone is connected to WiFi and enables back when it's disconnected.

5- SmartData: disables WiFi when you enable mobile data (works best with SmartWiFi).

6- Clever LPM: Enables LPM when phone is locked and disables when it's unlocked.

    Notifications Sounds:

Import your custom notifications sounds, place them /Library/Application Support/SmartBattery/Alarm Sounds.

    Custom LPM:

SmartBattery's best feature is Custom LPM ! in addition to the regular LPM you get to customize your own version of LPM ! Of course like other features you get to choose on which percentage level Custom LPM activates and when your phone reaches that level it automatically activates and sends you a notification or voice alert (depends on which you choose and obviously you can use both) here's the features you can enable when Custom LPM activates (of course alongside the regular LPM that apple provides) :
    Disable Wifi
    Disable Bluetooth
    Disable Cellular Data
Lower brightness (there's a slider you can adjust the level)
Lower Volume (there's a slider you can adjust the level)
    Disable location services.
    Enable airplane mode.
PS: SmartBattery's 2 main focus is not only extending battery life, but saving it for long term, tune it, modify if and extend its life if used correctly.

    Refunds:

Refunds requested due to issues such as safe modes or features not working must provide clear details of the issue with a crashlog send to my email elias_sfeir@live.com. Refund requests may be closed if no response is made within 7 days. If If the issue cannot be resolved within 7 days issue verification a refund will be provided.
