    Does anyone else have this weird display issue on iPhone 11 pro max ? The colors are uneven and it only happens when the room gets dark, the left side is blue or green while the right one gets dark brown or black. Thank you :)

    Is a MacMini Worth It?

    I am wondering this because I plan on trying to create an app this summer and to release it on the iOS app store, i would need an apple computer (or use an iOS/swift emulator of some sort and ask a friend to use theirs to upload it.

    I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse so equipment wouldn't be a problem. It is just would a mac mini be worth having over a normal laptop that i could move around with. I am a college student and my school has given us laptops (Dell Latitude 3410) for up to two years. After the two years we give the laptops back which means i will have to have my own computer in order to finish my undergrad. So should i get a mac mini because of cost/quality or should i get macbook so that i can be more mobile with my computer but it would be more expensive.

    TLDR : I need an apple computer so that I can code with it. Do I get a MacBook or a MacMini?

    Pros of Macbook: Accessible Dual Monitor System (meaning laptop screen and monitor)

    Cons of Macbook: Cost

    Pros of MacMini: Cost Quality

    Cons of MacMini: One monitor (i could add more but just to start) Less Accessible

    My N key randomly stopped working last night. I can sometimes get it to register if I press it super hard or a few times. I did not spill anything on it or drop it or anything like that.

    I am a student and can't afford to send it off to apple for a week or whatever it is for them to fix it as I am in the middle of my semester. I had to hook my mechanical gaming keyboard up to it last night just to do work. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this without going to apple? Maybe local stores can fix it in a day rather than a week?

    Bug regarding Big Sur's Music app and lyrics

    A lot of times when I am adding lyrics to a song I imported to my library I clock "ok" and I does not save the lyrics. Sometimes if I am adding lyrics to several songs I imported the lyrics goes to the next song instead of staying in the one I just added. There is any way to resolve this bugs regarding lyrics?

    Won’t let me download

    Alright so I tried to order this magic trick and a normal desk Fan on Amazon, the fan was bought and shipped but the trick said the payment method didn't work so I tried again and I got the same thing, to I canceled the order for the trick and tried to install an a FREE app and it keeps saying I need to verify my payment method but I don't have one set up on the phone (just so my little sis can't make purchases while on my phone) but so I went and put my card on the account and it said the card failed to go through, so then I put my PayPal and it gave the same message and still won't let me download anything, even if I've downloaded them before Please help and thank you for reading all of that and putting in your time to help me out

    iPad Pro (1st Gen.) stuck in loop of 'Restoring iPad firmware...'

    Apple is trying to charge me extortionate repair fees for something that only cropped up when I went to update so any help is appreciated.

    I have an iPad Pro (1st Gen) that has never caused me any trouble, and always kept in essentially perfect condition. I recently went to update it, in the hope that it would work better with an app on my computer (Duet). I backed up and all the normal things you would do when updating from iTunes. It downloads, extracts, installs, verifies and everything else related to the update just fine. When it gets to 'Restoring iPad firmware...' it never progresses any further, and is stuck at about 80% on the iPad loading screen.

    I have left it at this stage of restoring firmware for as long as 12 hours without it budging. When I finally give up on it each time, I disconnect and it gives me an Error 9

    I have tried multiple cables and computers. I have also tried every piece of advice Apple has given over the phone.

    Again, any help is appreciated. It seems completely unreasonable for me to be charged almost 6000 NOK (700USD) for an update that has seemingly bricked my iPad...

    Make everything smaller

    Hey, I bought a Dell ultra wide monitor and connected it to my 2019 MacBook. It works fine but everything is very big. Could I somehow scale it down and make it smaller, so I have more space? How could I do it?

    Why can’t my boyfriend use my apple music when it’s on family sharing?

    What could be the problem? I just got family sharing (15 dollar a month plan) and he still can't get into it from his icloud? It tells him to purchase a plan. Has anyone have this issue?

    Apple Watch Series 1

    Hi,

    My brother has recently started to use his apple watch after neglecting it for about a year, at first it would turn on fine, but would then would show the turn off screen and would beep. Basically activating the sos mode.

    But now it won't turn on at all, and when i put it on a charger, it comes up to erase all settings. We have tried doing this but it just goes through the process and then puts us back on the same screen, we also tried cancelling it and it just cycles us back round to the screen.

    I have cleaned the watch the best i can, using anti back screen solution on it.

    Just a side note, but we have tried to set it up in the past and stopped half way through, if that accounts to anything.

    Recovery Mode on iPhone XR not working

    It's been a few days since my mom's iPhone XR suddenly "blacked out". It won't turn on, even after trying to force restart. I'm not a tech-savvy person so I hesitated in trying recovery mode on iTunes. I already tried charging the phone for at least 12 hours before plugging it in on iTunes for recovery mode but nothing happened.

    *No, I doubt it has battery problems or charging port problems because my mom is very cautious in using her phone.

    Any suggestions on what else I can try? There are no apple stores near me.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Macbook Air - iCloud Photos disappeared from Finder Sidebar

    Hi all,

    When I open my Finder on the left sidebar I have a list of 'Favourites' including Recents, Applications, Documents and Downloads.

    Below this there is an 'iCloud' section, that has iCloud Drive and Documents. Previously this had Photos, which showed a folder view list of all the photos on my iPhone, but it seems to have disappeared.

    Does anyone know how to re-enable this? It doesn't appear to be an option in Finder preferences - Sidebar.

    Apple ID Support

    I had an apple ID awhile ago for my iPod. I still have access to the username and password but my 2 factor authentication device or my phone number no longer works as I lost it. I have no way of verifying my sign in as I don't have the device. I also don't have the recovery key though I'm not sure... I may be able to get this. Am I out of luck for signing in?

    While cleaning my macbook i found file "com.apple.RTTTranscripts.sqlite-wal" and it's quiet big (1.63 Gigs) and I wonder if I can delete it.

    [Question] Restoring iPhone as new device, will my iCloud data from my back up still sync the data backed up?

    Hey AppleHelp, first time posting here. I just had a quick question. I have an iCloud backup but something with my iCloud backup is messed up and whenever I restore to my iCloud backup it won't let me sign out of iCloud on my device and Find My iPhone doesn't work on my device as well, I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 14.3.

    So I was wondering if I made a backup of my device in iCloud and then restored my device and set it up as a new device (instead of restoring from the iCloud backup) will my iCloud still restore my contacts, photos, Notes, Etc. To my iPhone even tho it's setup as a new device and I've signed into iCloud? If someone could help me out with an answer and some details on this that would be greatly appreciated!

    Macbook air not showing external hard drive.

    Hello. I have a 1TB Transcend external hard drive that I use almost daily with my Macbook air (Early 2015, 1.6 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5, 4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3) because it only has 128GB storage and it's not enough.

    Yesterday it worked fine and now today when I plug it in the icon does not appear on the desktop, but the hard drive lights up and you can feel its running. I've check the hard drive with my windows PC which works fine. Also I've checked the USB ports with a flash drive which also works fine.

    I checked the the storage in "About this mac" and it does not show there and "Disk Utility" also doesn't show the hard drive. I've restarted the macbook several times and I went and Reset SMC also. All of these are what I found from the internet.

    English is not my native tongue, so if anything is unclear please let me know. Any help is appreciated. I live in a 3rd world country and external hard drives are quite expensive here thanks to ridiculously high import duties. So any help in this regard is highly appreciated.

    Microphone suddenly stopped working

    Hi, I have an Iphone 7 and everything was working when all of a sudden, when I tried to make a call, I couldnt hear anyone, they couldnt hear me and the speaker button was grey and I couldnt press it. When I record a video, it has no sound - the video has the speaker icon crossed out. When I try voice memo, it wont let me press the button. I can make phone calls and record when I am connected with airpods, but I have no idea how to fix it. I dont know what happened, it was working one minute and it stopped working the other. I appreciate all your advice

    Updated my Iphone 6s Plus to ios 14, now I can't save videos to my camera roll

    Hello everyone, like the title says I updated my phone 6s plus from ios 11 to ios 14 and now I can't save mp4 video files to my camera roll. Previously I would edit the video on my computer and upload the edit to my google drive and save the video to my camera roll and post to instagram, but now I can't do that. I have also tried dropbox with no luck. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so is there a fix for this? Thank you for your time.
