My mum tried to Facetime me and it called my boss from work!?

Today my boss came up to me at work and said "I think your mother called me yesterday". Flabbergasted, I immediately questioned him about it. He said it was obviously a mistake as she was just as confused as he was, and we both remarked on how completely bizarre it was.
I spoke to my mum this evening (she lives in Australia, and I, France), and she said that she was calling me. It had my contact information come up. She DOES NOT have his contact information, nor does she even know who he is. How on earth did this happen?!
