    Those trying to go solo Apple Watch for minimal phone distraction what are your tips?

    I am a bit of a phone addict and I am trying to use the Apple Watch LTE to minimize my phone use and distraction. I am finding a few things are making it difficult. The big one is that there is no Whatsapp watch App. It is a big issue for me because I have work chats I can't just put to the side.

    Also, I am having trouble with Spotify. It seems to just not work at all. Tried uninstalling and re-installing but no luck.

    Many apps seem to be umbilical corded to the iphone. Like news apps etc that seem to gather from the phone and transfer to the watch. I don't really mind that so much because that is a major source of distraction, but some apps it is very frustrating that the Apple Watch cannot stand alone.

    I have Apple Watch 4, but probably is not so important which model.

    Hi maybe I can explain more clearly - Mum and Dad share an iPhone. Dad already has an Apple Watch (cellular) that he goes on bike rides with and can leave the phone at home but still call or message if need be.

    If mum gets a cellular Apple Watch too, managed by the same iPhone, could she also use the "make calls even if you leave the phone at home) capability ?

    One week is all it took for me to get back to the Apple Ecosystem which i dearly missed for the last 2 years after drifting away to the world of Windows and Android, couldn't be happier. It all is completed today with the watch that i just got. ❤️ couldn't be happier.

    Im using apple watch se and installed apple music. I sync my playlist and have them ordered to recently added songs on my Iphone but on the watch it is on random order. How can I fix this?

    Kettlebells with Apple Watch

    I found when exercising with Kettlebells the watch face came under attack from the bells. Glad I had a screen protector installed. So I turned the face towards the backside of my wrist and then was ok.

    I wonder if the watch records pulse as good worn upside down on your wrist? Seemed to do ok...

    This was the first type of exercise I done so far that the watch got in the way of the exercise.

    When my Apple Watch is connected to my phone and my phone is switched from vibrate to ring, I still cant hear the ringtones. I would like to as I have paid for some nice ring tones. Any suggestions?
