Apple TV For all those that complain they are always losing their ATV remotes

I recently installed a new home theater setup for a client. They got a brand new apple TV 4k device, and it connects to a high end sony projector that offers 4k HDR. The Apple TV senses the highest quality output of the display and offers that, so when I go to settings and choose my video resolution, it says "4k HDR 60Hz", as it should. I then open the netflix app, and browse for some shows that I know are offered in 4k, but the netflix app only shows "HD" as the resolution.

Is the netflix app not streaming 4k? Or is it but it's just not saying? I tried restarting the device to no avail.

Stream movies to from Macbook without ATV apps

Is it possible to stream 1080-quality movies from a 2015 Macbook Pro to an Apple TV 3rd Gen (doesn't have the ability to download apps) without stuttering?

If so how?

[Solved: I downloaded Infuse to my phone. I then transferred the file from my NAS or any other folder in my network very easily from the app. Infuse then let me download subs from opensubs very easily. And now it works perfectly. A few more steps then I wanted but the solution was pretty clean. Additional tips or feedback still welcomed in the comments.]

Is anyone else having significant audio sync issues with AirPods when viewing content through the TV app?

Pros, Max, even HomePods all have about a quarter second delay that was 100% not there before. I'm assuming a bug with 14.4.

Excited to finally find a pair of AirPods Max and can't even enjoy them. When running a audio synch video through the YouTube app it's perfect, it's simply any content through the TV app.

I am looking for the impossible... I am looking for an Apple TV with Minecraft on it preferably the 4K 64GB but will consider any device? Yes I understand that to find this I would actually need to purchase not only the Apple TV but also the Apple ID associated with it! I had one previously but it had an issue and needed to be replaced but because this was discontinued years ago I lost my game permanently ;-(

Duplicate ATVs showing in remote app?

Hi all

For well over a year I've had 2 of my TV showing in my iPhone's remote app. One is the real TV, one a ghost. Both have identical names. I've never had another Apple TV.

I tried to 'delete all remotes/devices from the ATV and start afresh' trick but it doesn't work. I still have 2 TVs showing in the app.

Any idea how to fix it? (Please don't suggest restarting the iPhone. I've restarted my iPhone plenty of times in the last year)

How the hell is Watch TNT still so terrible?

It has been at least 2 years of people complaining about how terrible watching live TV (NBA usually) is through the Watch TNT app.

It freezes, rewinds itself, constantly stutters, the image quality is beyond bad, and the app crashes every 5 minutes.

It's easier to just stream the game illegally than deal with the app at this point.

Apple TV app no longer playing episodes automatically

Hello, I purchased the office from iTunes and played the series 1 time through. The Apple TV app would allow me to play episodes automatically so I wouldn't have to start episodes every time one ended. After my first play through it will only play one episode at a time. I assume it is because the next episode is technically watched already. Any ideas how to "I watch" the whole series? I can only unwatch one episode at a time which is a ridiculous chore with 200 episodes. I just want to be able to play episodes automatically. Please help!!
