FaceID is broken. What do I do? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 03:36 PM PST Hey, so, I recently got an iPhone X, but FaceID is broken. Won't even set up. Keeps giving the higher/lower message, and won't recognise my face. However, there is no way I can afford 860 aud (I'm in Australia) for the repair (phone was second hand, so out of warranty). Any ideas on what I should do? [link] [comments] |
Why does my charger smell burnt? Posted: 30 Jan 2021 06:23 AM PST Hello. Did anyone encounter the same situation, when I unplugged my phone from the socket earlier, the adapter smell burnt? What should I do? Should I change charger? [link] [comments] |
Cant connect to my wireless extender Posted: 30 Jan 2021 01:54 AM PST Hi everyone, so I have one wireless extender and one access point in my house and my iphone always worked well with them until one day they stopped showing in the wifi networks. The main network from the main router still works fine but the extenders are gone. I already rebooted the extenders, factory reset them and nothing. I also factory reset the network setting in my iphone but still no luck, every other device connects fine to the extenders. What might be causing this? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jan 2021 02:44 AM PST Hi, I mainly rely on data, rather than Wi-fi, and I recently realised the Photos app was using quite a lot of data when I use it. When I realised this, I disabled the app's access to data so that it won't keep uploading my photos and videos to my iCloud storage while I'm not connected to Wi-fi. It looks like previously whenever I would have gone to my Photos app, it would have the lower quality photos saved, and it would have to download the higher quality photos from my iCloud. Now that I'm only using data, I only have the lower quality photos saved to my phone, and videos won't load at all. Currently, 'Optimise iPhone Storage' is selected, so do I just have to select 'Download and Keep Originals' in order to download everything to my phone so I don't need to rely on the internet for it? I'll do that on Wi-fi, of course. If this is right, is there any well to tell how much storage space the photos and videos will then take up on my phone? Or how long it will take to download them? Thanks. [link] [comments] |
