Posted: 15 Jan 2021 01:35 PM PST If I deactivate the WiFi or Bluetooth from the Control Center it says it deactivated it till tomorrow. When I go to settings I see that the WiFi is active. Or if I check the iPad the next day WiFi is active again. If there a way to deactivate them from the Control Center or do I have to go to settings every time? [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 15 Jan 2021 09:28 AM PST I want to screen record myself drawing/taking notes for a timelapse video project I'm working on. I use notability to make these notes, but I'm open to any app recommendations that might help solve the issue I'm having. I want to record in a standard 16:9, the standard for YouTube. I know you can upload in 4:3, but to me it just doesn't look quite right and I would prefer to use a 16:9 if at all possible. Perhaps there is a way of hooking my iPad up to my macbook or my windows PC to record? Maybe there's an app for the iPad that allows for more customisation? I've seen some mention of software that might allow this, or external capture cards. I have an Elgato hd60S+ that I use to record gameplay - maybe I can use this? The first time I synced my iPad, I could see the file contents just fine. Awesome. After I tried to import some photos yesterday, there was an error with the really descriptive "something went wrong" error. I dug for a while and saw that when I tried to open the iPad in Explorer this time, it says I don't have permission to access this device. All of my software is up to date. iTunes can talk to it and see all the files on it. Windows sees the iPad, but it can't do anything with it. I can't go too deep into control panel settings because this is a work computer, but how do I fix this? I've been trying to get these work photos off for two days already and there are enough of them that emailing would be a big hassle. [link] [comments]  | ||

Something to make info graphics and stuff like that on. I used InDesign at one point in the past, being able to link text boxes, add background shapes and section out the document was amazing, but I've yet to find anything that works in the same way on the iPad. Procreate works to an extent, but still has its drawbacks and I feel that it lacks the precision that I am looking for. Are there any other apps that you use that can produce a similar result? It's working great and I absolutely love being paperless. I use goodnotes to take notes for all my classes. However my handwriting looks terrible when writing with the Apple Pencil. On real paper it looks great. I have tried playing around with different pen/brush styles and it still looks like chicken scratch. Also some apps consume more time while they are not using the app, but it is adding "screen time" for that app. I have removed all settings to factory default (not removed the dat) and set the screentimers again. This did not solved it. How to fix this? Or are there (paid) apps which can solid block the amount of time per app per day? My kids have a limit of 2 hours a day screentime. It would work but it has this mount on the back to attach mounting accessories they also sell. I am looking for a protective case, that is waterproof, with the smallest form factor. I plan on using a RAM mount with it so no additional hardware on the case is needed - including a kickstand. It will be used to show maps when I'm on my boat or offroading in the truck.
