Common Reposts Posted: 28 Jan 2021 12:46 AM PST Hey guys, Over the last couple of weeks, towards the back end of the final Betas of 14.4 and the RC, a lot of people have been reposting frequent topics that have been covered. So going forward, any posts including: Battery life/battery drain, Animation stuttering and/or Keyboard stuttering Will be deleted straight away as to not clog up the subreddit. Can I please kindly remind all users to use the search function before posting? And please, please, please include your current software version in your post title, I can't begin to tell you all how many posts I've had to delete recently due to no software version in the title. Posted: 28 Jan 2021 03:45 AM PST I like some stuff Apple did with the Media Controls in iOS 14.2, but there are things I would want to see differently: I don't like the collapsing, only more clicks. Am I the only one? No support for zones. Speakers are added to slow to groups, so you often tap the wrong speaker. And some ugly UI choices. iOS 14.4 problem when editing duplicated Live Photos Posted: 27 Jan 2021 09:50 PM PST Hi. AppTrackingTransparency Modal — What does it ACTUALLY look like? Posted: 27 Jan 2021 02:35 PM PST So, I've done some looking around, and there seems to be no consensus in what the "Ask to track" modal actually looks like and what the options are. Initially when announced it looked like this. Around 14.0 beta 7, it changed to this. Now, as of the 14.4 beta, it looks like this. When NBA started firing it randomly a couple of weeks ago, it looked like this. (Same as the above) Apple's documentation has "Allow" and "Don't Allow" inverted from the above and the same as the WWDC version. What the fuck is going on, Apple?? Which is it? My best guess is that they made changes to it through Beta 7, but reverted to the WWDC code when the removed the requirement. iOS 14.4, Keyboard Lag Still Exists?! [iPhone 11] Posted: 27 Jan 2021 03:13 PM PST Ever since I upgraded to iOS 14, there has been a keyboard lag on all apps. It only occurs when I receive a text message notification and I'm typing on any app, my typing will stop and lag.
