The only tabs I have now are home and movies and shows. Anyone else have this issue? I subscribe to YouTube Premium mostly so I can watch music videos without ads so this is not OK. if there was a stand-alone YouTube Music app it would be fine.

Up Next and Siri voice commands not working

Has anyone else encountered issues with Up Next not working (episodes watched don't show up properly and have to be manually "marked as watched") and Siri not responding to voice commands like "turn on close captions"? Both of these used to work great and it seems like in the past few weeks, they suddenly stopped.

I'm on 14.4 but these weren't working in 14.3 either.

I've tried all the normal things like, restarting, re-linking Apple ID, etc. Any one else having these issues?

Need some advice —app on smart tv versus the physical Apple TV 4K

I'll try to keep this simple. We have three TVs. All Samsung. TV #1 is oldest, is a dumb TV. I installed Apple TV app on a Amazon Firestick as well as Amazon prime. The tv also has a directv receiver. Not DVR type.

TV #2 is a smart TV and I've installed Amazon Prime and Apple TV on it. It's hardly used, it does have Directv vcr service.

TV #3 is more complicated. It's connected to an AVR surround system and there's an Apple TV 4K connected. This Apple TV is my Homekit hub. Using the Apple TV with this connection requires of course the amplifier and surround system which is a bit of overkill for casual viewing. So, I also installed Apple TV on the TV also. We use it primarily to watch content on apps we've added like Starz and SHO. The TV also has HBO max, and Amazon as well as a bunch of other stuff that Samsung put on it.

We are currently paying about $159 a month for Directv with a sports package. We are pulling the plug on Directv and are toying with the idea of either getting a good off air antenna for locals or getting locast. There are several trees partially blocking our directv signal and they are not ours to chop down. So directv is gradually getting worse and worse. Especially when it's windy.

I read about locast recently and it seems the better of the two alternatives but I don't know if it needs to run on the physical Apple TV, or can it work in the apps? I tan into an issue with HBO max — there's no way to add it to Apple TV at all. I had to put it on the smart tv apps. I don't want to ditch directv and get stuck with something that won't work with Apple TV.

Appletv screensavers data question

When I'm running my appletv screensavers for most of the day, are they constantly streaming over my internet? I'm wondering if this is the cause of internet somewhat acting up on occasion. Or Do they just download one time? Thanks

U1 for Apple TV?

I've been pretty much using my iPhone as my main Apple TV remote. (Using a Siri Shortcut to change my profile, open the tv app, and launching the remote on my phone) I now have 2 TVs and it's easy to forget to change the tv I'm controlling. So if I hit a button it wakes a tv in a room I'm not in.

Thoughts on Apple adding U1 to the TV so my phone could auto switch to the tv that's closest? Would this be do-able?
