    iOS 14.4 beta 2 seems to give us an option to choose device type in bluetooth settings, fixing wrong audio level notifications while connected to car stereo. Awesome news and proof that Apple listens to our feedback.

    Screen not waking up

    Hi All, seem to be having an issue with my XR

    So when you receive a call and you answer call and start speaking, the screen usually is in a dark/switched off mode - because a sensor basically understands that you have kept your phone on your ear and are speaking. When you move your phone away from the ear, the sensor should detect this an wake the screen up - but in case of my this is not happening.

    Is this issue known or is this only unique to my phone because of a sensor issue?

    I am sorry if I have not detailed the issue, I've tried my best to articulate!!

    While charging using MagSafe, the charger appears in Settings > About where you can view information about the charger itself, including the firmware version

    I just discovered that Siri can toggle HomeKit device states by just saying their name. (Always told Siri to turn off/on device’s name before)

    I recently got a new iPhone and one of the apps I specifically wanted to transfer is no longer on the app store. Is there any to transfer the app from one phone to the other despite the app no longer being on the app store?

    Issues with pdf annotating apps : which one is the best ?

    Hi everyone,

    I read and annotate a lot of pdfs for my work as well as for my hobby (boardgames). Ideally, I like to have everything synced with my computer through onedrive.

    I have been using Pdfexpert for many many years, but now, I find that the syncing process is quite slow with Onedrive. When changes are pushed in the server, they take a while to be reflected in the ipad, and as background sync does not work, I get a lot the message "sync process was not finished properly. please open application to finish it".

    Hence, I started dabbling with other apps, notably Filebrowser biz and Goodreader.

    Syncing in goodreader seems a bit more quick but I does not really like the annotating, notably the fact that I cannot scroll with one finger as I annotate with the pencil (or I did not find it).

    Filebrowser seemed like the perfect app...until I realized it was creating multiple (and I mean, many) online (in onedrive) copies of the documents I opened in the app. I never really understood why, but it kept creating copies of the same document...probably because of some conflicts between versions opened in different places...I don't know...

    So my question is : what apps is everybody using ? And/or are my issues solvable ?

    My prerequisites are : sync with onedrive, good annotations tools and exportable highlights mainly

    ios 14.3 Apple Pay Opening When 2 iPhones Close Together

    I am required to carry an iPhone for work. I also have a personal iPhone and when on-call, I usually carry both, often "stacked" in my back pocket when walking.

    As soon as the phones are stacked (or occasionally touching side by side), Apple Pay opens on one of the phones and wants me to double press the side button to confirm a payment. During this time, the phone wanting payment vibrates non-stop.

    It started happening when one phone was updated to 14.3 and the other 14.2. It continues with both phones on 14.3. If I fully power off and power on both phones, it will happen immediately without opening any apps etc.

    It's probably not a super common problem, but anyone else experiencing this?

    Edit: Both phones are iPhone 11.

    I have an ipad pro 10.5, am buying an ipad pro 11 with more HDD.

    Can one so the new one has exactly same programs and contents than old one, and the old one remain as it is? When I google, I mostly read "transfer from old to new", and for me transfer sounds as if the old one will lose all its stuff...

    Recommend a sleep analyzing alarm app

    I'd like to try out one of those alarm apps that analyze your sleep and wake you up at the right moment when your sleep is the lightest.

    Are they even worthwhile?

    Camera stops when notifications pops in

    Does anyone know what this means? The warning sign is only on Google Chrome and I don't even have Chrome installed on my phone and haven't for months. Screen Time data is for the last 7 days.

    I went to a site to check if smart tv's could get hacked, then when I opended the site I got a cookies thingy in my screen so I pressed ok, but then after that I got a Apple message if I wanted to add 'AdBlocker' to my agenda. I click no and the site was a https site so I don't think anything is wrong, but can anyone tell me what that was about?
