Pencil recommendation (Logitech Crayon) Posted: 01 Dec 2020 07:06 AM PST Hello everyone, hope you all are feeling nice today! . I'm a medical school student and I have my Ipad 8th generation and I'm looking forward to get a stylus for it The apple pencil is all good and I know it, but the thing is its price in my country is just stupid idk why it's too expensive 😅 So I wan wondering if the Logitech Crayon is any good? I need it for note taking and annotating pdf files The price difference is almost 40$ Thanks! [link] [comments]

Does the Ipad Pro (or any ipad) bypass the battery when it’s plugged in? Posted: 01 Dec 2020 01:55 PM PST I was wondering if the ipad pro bypasses the battery when it is under heavy workload like playing games. While playing Genshin Impact on max settings it obviously becomes quite hot and the battery drains super fast so I tend to play while it is plugged in, but I am concerned about the battery's health long term. iPad Air 4 Backlight Bleed: How Widespread Has This Issue Been? Posted: 01 Dec 2020 06:37 AM PST Hi! First time posting in this subreddit so apologies if my formatting isn't correct. Yesterday, I received my brand new iPad Air 4 from Amazon (Space Grey, 64gb) and was pretty disappointed to find that as soon as I turned it on, there was some pretty noticeable backlight bleed in one of the corners of the display. I know that quite a few other people have encountered this same manufacturing defect, and I am thankfully receiving my replacement from Amazon this Thursday. I was just wondering if any users of this subreddit have encountered this same issue with their new iPad Air 4, and what has your experience with getting it replaced been like? [link] [comments]
ipadOS 14 disable shape recognition in notes Posted: 01 Dec 2020 07:56 AM PST I have been using my ipad for writing out mathematical equations. I normally waste a lot of scratch paper with these derivations. The Notes app has been perfect for condensing and better organizing everything. No more heaps of scribbled papers everywhere. With the new update and shape recognition, Notes is now interpreting my symbols as circles or squares or triangles. For instance, the symbol ξ it keeps trying to turn into a small rectangle or an angled "7". The word "on" in cursive it interprets as a small circle. It distracts me from working and I repeatedly have to correct it. Can I just turn the shape recognition off? I have checked options for the Pencil and Notes, and there's nothing there. Disabling Scribble does not fix this. [link] [comments]

Trying to find good tempered glass screen protector to work with Apple Pencil Posted: 30 Nov 2020 07:07 PM PST Now, I don't care too much about the texture or feeling, what I really care about is maintaining accuracy with the Apple Pencil. I've seen many reviews on Amazon claim that certain glass screen protectors lose that accuracy. Of the people who frequently use their apple pencil for art/note-taking, do you have any recommendations for tempered glass screen protectors that don't sacrifice accuracy? If it's needed info, this is for a 2020 iPad Pro 11" [link] [comments]
Best App to Mark Up Articles Saved from Web? Posted: 01 Dec 2020 02:18 AM PST Hey all. Recently got an iPad Air 4 with the Pencil. I'm still figuring out how to best use the pencil, but one thing I want to do is to save an article from the Web - some news or magazine piece - and then make notes in the margin or highlight. I know there are lots of good notetaking apps. But can anyone suggest an app for that specific use case? Would really appreciate it. [link] [comments]
What mic do you use with your iPad? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 08:42 PM PST I'm trying to find the best mic to use on my iPad Pro for capturing my voice in gameplay or when creating tutorials. I don't need expensive. I need portability and good audio without static. I prefer one that can connect to my hub adapter. I have usbA 3.0 on my hub and have a usbA to 3.5mm adapter as well [link] [comments]
How Do You Guys Mount Your Apple Pencil 1st Gen? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 05:06 PM PST I have the apple pencil 1st gen and the iPad 10.2 in and I love it; however, there has been one thing that bothers me about the setup. Where the heck do I put the pencil? I looked on amazon for pencil loops but none of them mount the pencil on the side of the iPad. Do you guys have any ideas so I can put the pencil on the side of the iPad? [link] [comments]
The best comic reader for the iPad 10.2 inch (If I want to transfer my comics to my ipad)? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 05:58 PM PST I recently bought the ipad 10.2 inch 8th generation. I was curious what is the best comic book reader app if I wanted the take my comic book files and transfer them to my ipad? Thanks for the help! (Comic Zeal seemed to be mentioned in many articles, however it seems like it doesn't work with iOS 14 or newer) [link] [comments]

Max time able to screen record on 2020 ipad pro? Then export? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 03:42 PM PST Hey guys im quite the newb with tech but I have a lecture that I cannot attend which isnt record and I need the footage for my exams. I was wondering if my ipad would be able to record the whole thing for me or would it die off in the middle because of long extends of time. I was thinking around 4 hours but I can definitiy split it up hourly. My second question is would I be able to export it? I tried exporting a Imovie last time and it said file too big. Thanks! Posted: 30 Nov 2020 04:59 PM PST Does anyone know of a PDF viewer/annotator app for iPad that allows split view of the same PDF? For example, so you could view page 1 and page 5 side by side? On a computer, you can do this in Adobe by creating multiple instances (i.e., windows) of the same PDF. Or you can do it in Foxit Reader with their "Split-Screen" feature. I'm having trouble finding an iPad app that can do the same thing. I've tried Readdle and PDF Viewer - Annotation Expert but neither has offered this feature. Although PDF Viewer - Annotation Expert did offer the ability to view two different PDFs side by side. Also interested in what PDF annotator apps you might recommend! [link] [comments] |
