Recommendations on strategy game

I just recently switch back from Android after being with that OS for 7 years and wanted to see if I could get some recommendations on a strategy game that likens to one called Rusted Warfare for Android. It's a C&C type clone but allows for some pretty expansive battles and keeps things simple as far as UI goes. I did some searching, but haven't come up with anything that quite fits the bill.

I was hoping to get some recommendations on a few hidden gems out there that might not pop up on the radar. I know everything is riddle with IAP's, but I'd figure there has to be something out there.

Escape room ios games that are insanely good and interesting. The music is creepy and the art is unique and beautiful. The cube escape games are short, (30 mins to an hour) and free. And the rusty lake series (made by the same people, it is a "premium series") costs about 5 dollars a price for about 2-4 hours of game play depending on how smart you are.
