- I keep getting a push notification every 10 seconds that says “iOS 14.1 is available and will be installed later tonight”. No, I’m not exaggerating, it’s literally every 10 seconds or so. Disabling push notifications doesn’t help. How do I make it stop?

- If I block someone from calling me can they still see my number on there iPhone or can they not see my number anymore

Ideally I'd like to search a specific folder and/or disclude certain folders. | iPhone 7 Plus - High pitched beep when using keyboard Posted: 31 Oct 2020 12:33 PM PDT Hello, I just got an iPhone 7 Plus (iOS 14.1), which seems to be working very well and in very good condition (bought used), but it's doing one strange thing that I have seen little to no mention of in my searches. When using the keyboard, particularly when I press the backspace key (but not exclusively), it sometimes makes a short, loud, high-pitched beep. It seems to happen very reliably if I'm using some other app, then open Messages (or something else with a keyboard), and start typing, but other than that it happens like every five or ten seconds of typing on average (but random intervals between each occurrence) or something like that. Keyboard clicks are turned off, and I tried turning them on and the beep would happen all the same. It also happens the same whether I have the phone on silent or not. It also sometimes happens on the number keypad for unlocking the phone or whatnot. I restarted the phone and it's still doing it. My next move will probably be to do a fresh installation of iOS, but I wanted to check here first and see if anyone else has had this happen and what they did to fix it. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 31 Oct 2020 07:26 AM PDT I have an iPhone 8, and every time I want to take a pic it makes that annoying shuttle sound, and I can't turn it off, I tried putting the phone on mude but it didn't made any difference. I know that there are regions in which this was put because of "security laws" but most people just want to take selfies in their bathrooms without dying on embarrassment. I live in Argentina idk if those laws apply here too, but please please is there anything I could do? | Dropped iPhone XR has poor touch controls Posted: 31 Oct 2020 10:06 AM PDT An iPhone XR was dropped, and is still working but the digitizer now has poor touch sensitivity down the centre of the screen. It's okay on the left and right hand sides, though. For example, when the keyboard is onscreen, "q", "d", "x", "o", "k" and "n" will all be accurate when you touch the buttons, but "t", "y", "g", "v" etc are very hit and miss. I'm comfortable opening the iPhone up to check it, but thought I'd ask if anyone had any ideas what the issue might be first. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]  |

| Iphone 11 bad quality of pictures online Posted: 31 Oct 2020 12:57 AM PDT Hello, I bought iphone 11 especially for Instagram usage (great camera) and I have this unexpected problem. As I said the camera is great and pictures look really good. But when I open the Instagram app the whole picture content isn´t sharp. The quality of everyones pictures is just extremely bad. I didn´t have the problem with my old much cheaper phone. Data saver is unchecked on Instagram, leave original photos checked on iphone, everything is updated.
