Posted: 30 Nov 2020 08:07 AM PST I had mine (Pencil 2) since February 2019. So far, it's been working fine. I was just wondering about the actual battery life span of this thing. I've been searching and I've NOT seen anyone said anything about this. How long does it actually last? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Nov 2020 09:30 AM PST If your device is out of warranty (which is usually how long it takes for that issue to arise) they wont fix. Theyll just replace it and make you pay 350+ dollars. The real kicker is I asked would I have to pay again if the issue arrises again (since it seems to be a design issue that strikes at random) the tech on the phone said yes. :) Very frustrating stuff. Controller suggestion for GeForce NOW and other iOS games? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 08:31 AM PST Does anyone have suggestions for a controller that works well with GeForce NOW? I was looking at picking up the Steelseries Nimbus+, but I wanted to get some recommendations. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Nov 2020 08:17 AM PST Hey guys I've got a 2018 iPad Pro and my Fiancé loves it so much that she is selling her MacBook Pro from 2017 and wants to replace it with the ipad 8th gen or even an air. We sadly missed the Black Friday deal on the ipad 8th gen with Best Buy and it seems they have ended the promotion or I just cant find it. Ive been having trouble finding any ipad deals or anything which I dont mind paying full price at all just if I could get a deal on Cyber Monday that would be preferred. So if anyone see's any deals on these ipads or ipads in general and accessories, etc, would you guys mind posting a link to it below? Thank you guys [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Nov 2020 06:25 AM PST Anyone have any experience with this this SaharaCase? I'm finally upgrading from an iPad Air 2 to the new Air 4 and trying to find a case for it before it arrives. I keep my current iPad in stand/viewing mode for most of the day (I listen to a lot of podcast/watch shows on it while working) and I like the way the foldable kickstand sits in the back on my current case (CaseCrown). From what I've seen, it seems most cases for 10.9 iPads rest on the inside of the front cover (if that makes sense), so there's some extra case sticking out in front of the iPad. Is there a pratical reason this is common for most cases now, or can I stay in my comfort zone with the SarahaCase? Thanks! [link] [comments]

96W MacBook Pro Charger on a iPad (1st Gen, 2010) Posted: 30 Nov 2020 06:42 AM PST Ok, I found my old iPad and I'm looking to jumpstart it. I already own a 12w adapter but it wont get past the apple logo with it. I have a lighting to 30-pin adapter I use with my old iPods and I was wondering if the 96w MacBook Pro charger would work with the old iPad and at least get it past the apple logo. All I need is the adapter itself and a USB-C to Lightning cable. So, Will it work? [link] [comments]
VLC only plays MKV files correctly from external storage? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 09:46 AM PST It's pretty weird, if I read the mkvs from a usb drive connected to the ipad, VLC has no issue, but if I copy them to to the internal storage using the Files app, then it always plays with no picture, only sound. I've also tried Hardware Decoding off, doesn't help. Does anyone have a similar issue? [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Nov 2020 09:16 PM PST Hey guys! I was wondering how everyone uses their iPad with their macbook if they have one? As in, how useful is it having both devices, and is the connectivity between them truly valuable enough to opt for an iPad over an Android tablet? I currently have a MBP and was wondering if I should get an iPad or try out the new Samsung galaxy tab S7 line. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Nov 2020 01:15 AM PST Hi I might be stuck in the old fasion windows file sharing but here goes. I have a NAS with different media files (movies, pics, music etc). Is it possible to share them with my iPad the same way you can between PC:s? Can I watch my movie clips on my iPad? The closest I've come is by using VLC and VLC Streamer but that requiers me to "convert" each file. Is there a "best practices" for sharing folder/files? Or are there any limitations to share between iOS and Windows? [link] [comments]
How long do you think I’ll be able to use my 7th gen iPad as my primary device? Posted: 30 Nov 2020 05:06 AM PST Hey everyone. I know this is going to be a highly subjective question but I'd love to hear your opinions. I have a 7th gen iPad with 32GB storage (big mistake I know) as my primary device. Combined with the Apple Pencil it's perfect for what I need. I'm a med student so all I need is taking notes on Notability, YouTube and some simple games like Kingdom Rush and Stardew Valley for pastime activities. Lastly, I use a USB-A to USB-B converter and the camera adapter to connect my piano to the iPad and create MIDI files and record music on GarageBand. I use a 2TB HDD to back up everything and also use iCloud so that I won't run out of storage space on the iPad which is really easy to do with just 32GB. With all that out of the way, my question is: For how long do you think I will be able to do all that? Right now I'm doing just fine but when will the old A10 chip start to bottleneck the whole system, or the apps themselves be so huge that 32 GB storage or the 3GB RAM won't quite cut it? I know it's impossible to say for certain, but I'd really appreciate your opinions on this so that I'll have an idea on more or less when I should plan on buying a new iPad. [link] [comments]
Best Method or App for merging RAW HDR images? Posted: 29 Nov 2020 03:29 PM PST Lightroom Mobile doesn't have the capability (as far as I'm aware) to combine 3 RAW image files into an HDR composite. I'd like to know of a program that would let be create a RAW composite HDR which could then be reimported into Lightroom. Any and all tips appreciated! [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Nov 2020 05:53 PM PST Hello, I need to work remotely with Ipad to run some heavy softwares which are possible only with a desktop. I don't need any complicated function but just connect to my PC at home, windows 10. I am currently using Chrome remote desktop and it has been okay. But still I can see that it's somewhat slow. I guess it's inevitable to be slow when using remote desktop tho.. Is there any faster app that I could try? Thank you! [link] [comments]
Looking for recommendations for building design apps Posted: 29 Nov 2020 06:16 PM PST Any chance that you know of an iPad Pro app where I can do basic layouts to build a condo? I've seen some iPad apps for homes, but I'm trying to find one that allows me to design apartment buildings. I am specifically trying to see what type of building I can fit in a plot of land, and then eventually do some basic design layout of the sizes of potential apartments. I found Live Home 3d, but that only seems to build homes. Thanks for any help! [link] [comments] |
