    What would you want from Apple Pencil 3?

    It doesn't seem was are moving from 2 any time soon, but if a new one were to come, what would you want from it? I would definitely want an eraser in the back and a hardware button. Yes, I want a Wacom pen. Maybe option for a bigger/smaller/thicker version.

    What do you guys think?

    iPad Air 4 brightness bug

    Does anyone else has this issue where if you lock your iPad, then unlock it again using touch id, it sets the ipad brightness to max automatically. This is really annoying as I tend to use my ipad before i sleep. I thought iPad OS 14.2 was gonna fix this but it didnt...

    It specifically occurs when you: 1. Lock the ipad with the power button 2. Lift your finger off the power button 3. Proceed to unlock the ipad with touch id

    PDF Forms Creation & Editing on the iPad

    I'm looking for a recommendation for a PDF form creator/editor for iPad that does not require a subscription.

    Basically what I'm wanting to do is create some artwork with text and graphics as either a PDF or image, such as in Affinity Design, and then be able to add PDF form fields with embedded fonts so that I can later fill out the form and share a new PDF/image with the form text in non-editable form with the correct font applied.

    It seems there are a couple of apps that do this, however all seem to require a subscription to enable the feature I want - features that don't justify a subscription; especially since I can open the exported PDF in Preview on my Mac and do this for free - however I'd like to be able to do this on one device only.

    Anyone have a recommendation or a hack/workaround to do this?

    iPad screen randomly gets unresponsive

    So basically sometimes when I'm other using safari or playing some games, everything carries on as normal but my taps don't register at all for a solid 5 seconds or more, and I normally have to spam the screen with taps or bring up the control centre to get it back. Using an iPad Air 3 which is only about 3 months old. Any tips? Thanks.

    DBrand skin recommended for your 350 dollar keyboard

    I just wanted to say that within the first few months of using my magic keyboard for my iPad it developed a huge nasty grease stain on it. I wash my hands daily and its not like I was using it after eating a bunch of greasy French fries. This is something with the material and the natural oils of your skin. I strongly suggest a dbrand skin for your magic keyboard because since it is vinyl it will wipe clean. The oil stain on the keyboard without the skin will not wipe off if you develop it. You can get a nice leather pattern or something else depending on taste. It goes on really easy without bubbles or air pockets. Just being able to wipe it down and see the oil disappear is a godsend. I really;y recommend it before your keyboard gets ruined like mine did. I don't work for dbrand just had a good experience with them.

    iCloud Data Removed -- Any way to get it back?

    So yesterday I thought it was OK to go my iPad's iCloud storage tab and delete my iCloud notes sync (I thought it was an old backup or something). It gave me the warning that the notes will stop syncing and be removed and stuff, I said alright (not knowing my 200+ notes were held together by that simple tab) .

    So today I found out my mistake, and I'm not really proud of it and kind of sad too, if I'm being honest. Now when I go on my iPad it will show a clean slate -- I've done every troubleshoot: iCloud recovery files, checked for backups, switched iCloud settings to On My iPad...

    My ace card is going on Reddit and basically asking, is there anything I can do? Is there any third-party software that could get these notes back? Anything I just missed?

    Just to clarify, if you go onto your iCloud tab on your iPad, click on the notes, then say delete (with iCloud notes being your only notes) and they delete. Could you actually get them back? Is it possible even?

    But yeah, I appreciate anyone reading this -- just right now I'm so mentally clouded because of this, I feel like I've just lost a life.

    I don't see ads but need to wait to watch videos. YouTube comments don't load(nothing of value was lost) and some other websites load ads. I'm using adguard. I checked with adblock, 1blocker too and same problem persisted.

    What’s the audio output on iPad Air 3 or any other model with headphone jack assuming they’re the same?

    So I was trying to send the widget bar up when I accidentally scrolled the volume bar to full on my headphone(they should make that shit horizontal) for 5 seconds,my ears are still a bit uncomfortable 1 hour later now (no ringing or anything).

    Now,I'm trying to find out the volume it was at to figure out if it was at any level to cause permanent damage. I know my headphones are 32 Ohms and have a sensitivity of 115 dB/mW but I literally can't find any info on the output source of the iPad itself. I usually listen at around 30-35% volume. Besides I want to know this info for other headphones I might buy to see if I will need an amp or not anyway,because it has a decent dac,better than my phone and laptop atleast(idk as good as an lg phone or not though), does anyone know or can help me figure this out?

    Reminders widget not on my list?

    Hi

    I am trying too edit my widgets so my reminders always show on my Home Screen, but when i select the option to customise what apps I have on the panel on the Home Screen, there isn't an option to select Reminders.

    I have googled it and can't find out why, but have seen the apple community site discussing the Reminders widget, so I know it exists, but can anyone help me to get it?

    Hi folks. I've recently updated from iPad 5th gen to Air 4. And as you might know this update comes with all new and shiny type C port. But I do use my tablet a lot to connect to projectors at work, different ones. And since they're rather old they use VGA connection. I have apple's original dongle lightning to VGA, but I can't use it. So... I ordered myself a third party type C to VGA and also a type C to lightning converters. But for some reason I don't feel very confident using them with my brand new (and rather pricy) device. Have anyone tried these?

    Is the microphone in the iPad Pro 11“ as good as the MacBook Pro 14“ 2020?

    I recently grabbed my gfs laptop and tried out GarageBand and was blown away by its microphone quality recording my voice. I have an iPad coming in on Monday (or maybe even today, fingers crossed) and was wondering if it's the same mic they are using?
