Games similar to and better than Sims Freeplay Posted: 08 Nov 2020 05:46 AM PST TLDR; what's a good alternative to Sims because Freeplay is bullshit and I don't understand Mobile I used to play this a lot for both the fun of life simulation/playing god and decorating, as well as passing time via my gardens on my slave plot. Idk when it changed but you used to be able to garden without ads, unless you wanted it done instantly. I don't want it done instantly, I specifically want it done in the increments it used to offer so as to gauge time at work. But whether it's a 5 minute or 1 hour gardening job I'm thrown into an ad all the same. Idk what changed but the game is essentially dead to me with these changes unless I'm missing something. Plus the absolute ass load of "deals" and "new season competition" bullshit that I'm forced to look at every single time I load into the game. I heard Mobile is better but it seems much more sparse with items, though their gratification with actions is more satisfying than Freeplay, but I wonder if anyone knows of any better alternatives [link] [comments]
Help me identify a long lost game Posted: 08 Nov 2020 09:18 AM PST This is going to be a long shot, but here goes. The last time I played this game had to be around 2013/14. The name of the game was that it was referred to its acronym, such as WoW - it was called something along the lines of "something of war". I believe it was a 3 word game with of being the second word. Now to describe the game. It had functionality where if you weren't actively playing, in game progress was being made. It was centered around picking and leveling up 3 different characters that you got to comprise a team out of. There were multiple classes and you had the flexibility of making your 3 person team up, whether it was a tank, a melee dps and a ranged so on and so forth. You had your own home base that comprised of buildings you needed to create and continuously upgrade that provided more benefits. The combat system I believe was turn based and was very pvp based. There really was no pve aspect to the game. The gist was amp your buildings up and player levels, and go demolish other players and their buildings. The art style was 2D I believe and the characters were tiny kind of, almost looked like childish graphics but not quite. The point I'm making is it looked cartoonish, not realistic. So yeah, I doubt this game is a thing 6-7 years later but I'd love to be wrong. [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Nov 2020 06:36 PM PST I'm old. Just got an iPad. Looking for something to play that is not a FPS or RPG. Characters and fighting aren't my thing. Mainly I want something that I can play casually during commercials while watching football. What do you recommend that is a logic or puzzle game but more interesting than Sudoku? I'm open to something like golf with a twist, or shuffleboard with explosions. Looking forward to suggestions! [link] [comments]

Is anyone playing ZombieSmash Idle Saga? Posted: 07 Nov 2020 11:48 PM PST I'm always on the lookout for a new hobby game. Something with idle offline progression, but also where there's always something to do anytime I log in. For now that game is Ulala Idle Adventure, but when I saw ZombieSmash Idle Saga come up in the weekly new release thread, I decided to give it a try. I've played a lot of ZombieSmash over the last couple of weeks (about 15 hours), but I can't decide if I'm going to stick with it. It actually borrows a lot of the elements of Ulala, and I like the art style, and there's a lot to do in the game, but it's not as deep as Ulala is with its multiple skill trees and upgrade paths. Is anyone else playing it? The game doesn't appear to have a subreddit, so I'm curious how many players will be around when they introduce guilds into the game. Posted: 08 Nov 2020 01:53 AM PST I see lots of ads for pseudo games like joker xxx hd with video showing players earning the jackpot. All these pseudo games are free games without inapp and they are all really really bad games. So my question : is there something hidden behind this ? After all, why making ads for apps which will not generate money ? I don't want to play a lottery but I would like to understand... [link] [comments]

Suggestions for a mom who grew up on old game boy games? Posted: 07 Nov 2020 03:36 PM PST What are the best games for someone who liked old games like Asteroids, Donkey Kong, Pac-Man, Mario, and space invaders? I have Apple Arcade so that's not a problem, and controller support is a plus (not a must). [link] [comments]
Anyone playing xcom2 on an iphone x? How is it going? Posted: 07 Nov 2020 01:19 PM PST
Posted: 07 Nov 2020 01:41 PM PST I have a little expertise in this area, but I still can't find another decent game like this. Currently I have Puzzledom, 1945, and The Wanderer. They're great, but I need a fourth game. However, enything made by Voodoo, Ketchapp, Saygames, Kwalee, Lion Games, or any other hypercasual companies should by slathered in oil and burnt to oblivion. I'm looking for a casual game that actually has effort into it, and will hopefully keep me playing on and off for a while. I don't mind ads or IAPs, but try to be nice to my wallet and suggest mostly free games, thanks. [link] [comments]

Posted: 07 Nov 2020 07:53 PM PST Can you guys help me find some Character level based games that are adventure dungeon looters, or something along those lines? I also like games with skills like RuneScape...but I don't want to play RuneScape if you understand me. Any recommendations are appreciated! Looking for something I can put many hours into! Worms 3 with controller. Can’t select weapons. Why? Posted: 07 Nov 2020 11:49 AM PST This is driving me mad, I bought the game specifically because it had controller support but while you can use it to move, aim, jump and shoot, once you enter the weapons menu, or the pause/options menu, you can't do any selections! So basically the controller support is a joke' You start the game, everything works. As son as you press Y and enter the weapon menu, everything freezes. You can't move around no more either with D pad or analog. You press Y again and get the description of the item. And you can't even go back. EVEN TOUCH SCREEN DOESNT WORK! [link] [comments]
