    [iOS 14.2] Since I don’t exactly know when you can now use Touch ID only for some notes and not for all! I love it since I have stuff I don’t want random people to see but I also have ultra top-secret stuff that I don’t want god to see.

    You can use the flashlight with a light that is way dimmer then the lowest setting avaiable in the control centre. Just long-press the flashlight icon in the zoom app.

    14.2 Airplay has gone crazy

    I have 5 homepods and controlling them and transfering if music to them has never been any issue until I updated to the 14.2 GM.

    Airplay in 14.2 is a mess.

    The menu Airplay Device menu is now submenued. Half the time my devices don't even show up.

    They totally made the process way more complicated than it needs to be and it doesn't even function half the time for me. I can send music to "Bathroom" and open the Bathroom device in Airplay, it shows nothing is playing on the Bathroom HomePod. Just a blank now playing with a Play button when I have music playing from it and literally no way to control it from my phone because it thinks nothing is being Airplayed to it. This happens all the time between different homepods.

    Maybe I've lost my mind.

    14.2 Volume Limit - How does it work ?

    Hello !

    My first ever on this sub, I had a look in here but my following question doesn't seem to have been asked.

    How does the new volume limit work ?

    Before iOS 14, there used to be a scrubber bar under Music settings where you would set your volume. There used to be a European Regulation limit as well, I was using a combination of those two.

    Since iOS 14.0 and before, the scrubber bar was gone therefore I was only using the European Regulation thing... fine !

    But since I installed iOS 14.2 GM, the European Regulation is completely gone under Music settings, there is really no more Volume Limit setting under Music.

    I found under Sounds & Haptics a new section but I have to set a decibel level which is getting the job done but it is also flattening my music a lot, it really kills the best parts of a nice song... I suppose the European Regulation is gone because now it suggests you a limit based on your location and on the regulatory going on in that area.. I might be completely wrong though

    Can you please help me and suggest a better option for that ?

    [Bug] [iOS 14.2 RC] Phone number format does not revert to correct format after using a foreign sim (while using e-sim).

    I recently ran into this issue and have seen various posts on discussions.apple.com about this, with no solution.

    Recreate problem: 1. Your main sim is an e-sim. Insert a foreign physical sim. 2. Phone number format in the Keypad tab in the Phone app will change to the foreign phone number format. 3. If you remove that sim, that format will not go back to your local format.

    Solution: the only solution I've found is to insert a physical sim of your country to revert the format back your country's.

    Pinned Conversation disappearing and cannot stick - iOS 14.2 RC

    Have noticed today that all my pinned conversations reset and show none pinned. Tried to re-add, moments later, back to square one. Tried to have iPad sync pinned convos and won't, and then it disappears (iPad on 14-2 RC as well).

    Thoughts? Anyone else? A fix?

    Update, just figured it out. It's after you edit your pins and move them around, or delete any. All of them disappear.

    New RC not showing up? 14.2 RC

    I had an issue with being able to find the RC to download. My iPhone kept saying that no update was available. I reinstalled the beta profile and it showed right up. I hope this helps someone.
