Were any improvements/tweaks made to Screen Time in the upgrade to iOS14? Posted: 23 Nov 2020 03:42 AM PST Can anyone (particularly developers) tell me if there were any improvements made to Screen Time in iOS14? Screen Time really needs to provide better tools for adults and children who struggle with screen addition, and I 'd like to know if Apple are continuing to develop it. In my opinion it needs:

Posted: 23 Nov 2020 06:36 AM PST Not sure about others but for me I would love to see the option in iOS for emergency bypass for app notifications. There's an ever growing amount of smart home users and it would be nice to have notifications like Arlo or SmartThings be able to bypass DND settings. [link] [comments]

Is there any list if all iOS "text"? Posted: 23 Nov 2020 04:44 AM PST Hey there! The title is a bit vague, but I don't which keywords could describe what I am looking for. I'll try to explain more detailed. What I'm looking for is a list/spreadsheet/.. including all text that's used in the iOS system. For example: Settings, Photos, Accesibility, "Do you want to turn on push notificiations", ... This would be a great help to my for my language learning. Does anybody know whether such a file exists? Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
Is there any way to see which apps are using the most network/data? Posted: 22 Nov 2020 11:15 AM PST Perhaps an equivalent to "ntop" on Linux? I'm asking because an iPhone on the WiFi network went a bit crazy and starting pulling 20Mbit constantly all day (20GB per day) and my router only says it's coming from iCloud. I tried turning on low data mode, turning off background app refresh, closing all apps, and none of these helped. There are no pending transfers in the Photos app either. The phone is also up to date, so it's a complete mystery what it's been trying to do. Is there a way to do this on iOS or an app which can do it? [link] [comments]
Want to connect USB C keyboard and HDMI to iPhone 7 iOS 14. Posted: 22 Nov 2020 02:16 PM PST From what I have read, it looks like the HDMI lightening adapters usually want power coming in on the extra lightening port. I want to connect a keyboard and HDMI at the same time (and use a Bluetooth mouse). What's the cheapest option to get this running? [link] [comments]
