    I purchased a new MacBook Pro 16 inch 2019 from BestBuy 5 months ago and ordered a plastic slide webcam cover. Stupid me have been closing the laptop with the camera cover on the screen for weeks and today i opened it up and it is a black screen with a green vertical line directly down the screen from top to bottom. I went to google and started looking to see if others have had this issue and I see Apple came out with a warning in July to not use these covers. My question to you all is what do i do now? I did not get AppleCare. I talked with Apple via the chat support and I don't think they would fix this if they can tell it was from the webcam cover. Any ideas on how to get this covered under warranty? This is very frustrating as I only had it for 5 months and spent for $2,000 on it.

    How do I stop iCloud from syncing any audio file I bring on to my computer and saving it to the cloud before I play an audio file I have to click these download icons that are pictured below - Can anyone help?

    Safari not saving MS SharePoint login details (both MacOS and iOS)

    Devices: 16" MacBook Pro running macOS 10.15.7 (base model)

    iPhone 11 Pro running the latest iOS.

    My employer uses Microsoft SharePoint and whenever I login using safari (both on iOS and macOS) it asks for my password even though I check the box saying 'Remember Password'. Chrome saves the password no problem.

    Old job went out of business and didn’t ask for our Apple devices. Need assistance reseting 2019 MacBook Air without password.

    Hey all, so unfortunately due to COVID-19 my old job went out of business. I'ts been weeks and I texted my manager about the devices and my manager said "don't worry about the devices, they're yours". I have a 2019 MacBook Air (Catalina). Upon powering it on my works login info pops up with a 5 digit passcode. I tried "command" + "S" and sadly that doesn't work.

    I also have an iPhone SE on iOS 13 (bonus points if you know how to unlock that too).

    Need urgent advice: Restoring 50gb+ photos from old phone

    Hi All,

    I just spent half a day at Best Buy to trade in my iPhone due to back up time for iCloud.

    I had issues with Apple's "device to device migration" during set up - over an hour had past and I still didn't get an ETA. I was hoping to use that method and avoid upgrading iCloud (I have 50gb of photos). Before leaving the house I backed up everything EXCEPT my photos.

    Out of desperation I upgraded iCloud to 200gb and back up was about 5+ hours ETA, so I had to leave the phone there as store was closing.

    My wedding photos were in there and I want to keep in original state/quality in all the folders i organized them in, so I asked to hold off on erasing everything and I will return tomorrow.

    I was able to restore everything in the new phone (took hours), except photos. Is there anyway tomorrow I can transfer ONLY the photos without having to reset the new phone again?

    AC+ and iPhone Battery Replacement Above 80% Health

    Will Apple replace an iPhone battery just because I ask them to? Currently at 91% (iPhone XR, purchased Jun '19) and I want to take advantage while it is still under AC+ coverage and before selling the device.

    Support says they will usually do them when they are <80% but I am welcome to send it in anyway. Worst that can happen is they will send it back without opening it.

    What are my chances? Thanks!

    iPhone 11 Pro max, unable to verify my Apple ID

    Hi, this year I've purchased this phone on a plan so I've had to get a new number attached to the phone. My old number has been deactivated. I keep getting a window pop up wanting me to verify my Apple ID. I know the password but when they send a verification code it's sent to my old number which I no longer have access to. Further down the line they send it to the email attached to my Apple ID but that's been compromised and I no longer have access to that due to the fact outlook can't verify it's me. Backup email for that email is the same circumstance. I'm stuck on what to do. Am I able to just make a brand new Apple ID all together and start afresh and attach my new number to that even though it's currently attached this Apple ID that is unable to go anywhere?

    disabled iphone 6s plus

    i dropped my 6s plus and the screen stopped working, but kept pressing numbers itself and eventually disabling itself accidentally, is there any way to undisable it without restoring and losing all my pictures? i tried plugging it into my computer to try to grab the pictures but it won't connect to itunes or show up as a device/drive, however it will charge. should i try getting it fixed and go from there?

    Will mark go away

    There is this blue mark on my iPhone X screen after screen replacement. I have figured from Reddit and the internet that this is caused when something ( usually the battery ) presses against the back of the lcd screen. My question is will this mark fade away when the problem is fixed?? Or is it permanently there?? Please help

    Migrating locations from Google Maps to Apple Maps

    Is there any app available to migrate saved locations from Google Maps to Apple Maps? I am able to export my data from Google Maps in json format but don't see any way for me to import it into the apple maps app on iOS or MacOS.

    Can I restore an iPod touch 5th gen backup to an iPad mini 1st gen?

    I have an iPod touch 5th generation on iOS 9.3.6. If I buy an iPad mini first generation, which also can only be upgraded to iOS 9.3.6, can I setup the device from a backup of my iPod touch?

    Currently I use the iPod touch as a sort of backup server for text messages, as it can have texts forwarded to it but it's too old to be compatible with messages in the cloud. So any time I accidentally delete a text message thread from my phone, it isn't lost forever as I still have the saved history of it. My iPod is getting super old now though, and the battery can barely hold a charge, so I'd like to find a solution now while I still can.

    To those who may ask, the reason I won't get the iPod fixed is that it'll cost as much to get fixed as it would to buy one on eBay. And my brothers iPad mini 1st gen still has great battery, so I figured that would be a better long-term solution than buying another iPod touch 5.

    Group Chats not Appearing

    I have an iPhone 7 SE, got it brand new from AT&T. My iOS version is 14 (the latest version, at least. Don't know the specific numbered iOS version as of now). My friend says I have been added to a group chat from people from my school and yet it's not showing up... any tips on how to get this to work?

    Factory Reset iPhone 8 without iTunes or Wifi

    My wife gave our daughter her old iPhone 8 to just use on WiFi when she got a new phone. Our daughter was kind of rough on it and messed up the lightning port - it could still charge if you put the cable in just right, but data didn't work. But it still worked fine for child purposes other than that. However, she forgot her PIN, and tried to unlock it too many times and got locked out. The screen says go to iTunes to unlock, except that doesn't detect the iPhone because of the issues with the lightning port. We want to try to do a factory reset, but any non-cable methods we've found need WiFi, and that is currently disable while the phone is locked.

    Is there any sort of button combination we can use to factory reset the iPhone without needing to connect it to a computer via lighting cable or WiFi?
