Posted: 02 Oct 2020 02:58 PM PDT For a long time all I had to play video games on was my phone. So I did. A lot. I dug deep past bedrock to find the most epic games, because everything above ground was atrocious garbage. The mobile genre is interesting, in that most games are not fit for consumption, but there are a few that you will always cherish forever. While you are much better off with a pc or console, it is possible to have a great time on a mobile device. If you're that person, look no further, because I have selected from over 600 titles, the most enjoyable games in various genres. Casual Amazing time killers, with minimal commitment. Soul Knight Scavenge a deep, dark dungeon, filled to the brim with weapons and enemies. Blast them, knife them, blow them up, run them over, do whatever it takes to get to the end. And when you do get to the end, do it all over again! You'll enjoy over 100 weapons, dozens of enemies, and frequent anime references! Knight Brawl Cute graphics and wacky physics is one of the best formulas to making a successful mobile game. Grab that mace, and then throw yourself into the pit as you move around with a 360° swinging arm. People say it takes skill, but really it's just button mashing. PvZ 2 You've heard of this game before, and if you haven't, you're lying. You might be thinking, "This game is p2w and bad and stuff". It's actually not. Well, it is, but it's not as bad as people think. If you're someone who didn't like the first game, try this anyway, because they did a fantastic job of making each level much more intense and enjoyable. Hyper Casual Mindless games that can be played for 2 minutes at a time. Pako Forever I'm sure you've seen a game similar before, where you have to drift to outrun the police, but what Pako does, that I've never seen before, is adding unique obstacles to it. For example, you might be moving along, when you see a beach ball! Or a tornado! A tank? There are so many interesting things to discover, and the game capitalizes on that. Unlocking new cars often involve discovering some sort of obstacle. You might die within 10 seconds at first, but give it a few days and your gameplay will improve. Leap Day Never get bored with a brand new level each day! It's a one handed platformer game, where the goal is to ascend a tower, filled to the brim with obstacles that reset every 24 hours. You will die a lot, and unfortunately there are an annoying large amount of ads, so make sure you turn on airplane mode when playing! Ninja Fishing Tilt your phone to lower the lure, and then catch as many fish as possible on it's way up. Once caught, make sure to swipe as fast as you can to get that sweet sweet gold. Best of all, no ads! A hyper casual game with no ads? Is that possible? Idle Kind of pointless to me, because you play the game by not playing it. But hey, some people like it. Realm Grinder The best game for long term commitment. There's a lot, and I mean a lot of content for what it is. Another positive is the fact that you can choose how to play. Some people like to vigorously tap the screen, and some people like idling. Whatever floats your boat. Crush Them All This game is designed more for active play. There's quite a bit of things to do, and strategies get satisfyingly in depth because of the PvP. The goal is to assemble a team of characters to fight for you. Ascend the dungeon to grow stronger, and participate in daily tournaments and clan wars for your daily dose of adrenaline. Soda Dungeon 2 What is with mobile games and dungeons? I was a bit indecisive of putting this game on the list, but I needed a third game so here it is. It's fairly unique, and it easily takes the cake on the best mobile game dialogue, but it has a crucial mechanic that is both it's defining point, and flaw. That mechanic is auto battling. After a decent amount of play, your device will be subject to hours of auto battling, while you go do other things. Maybe it's good for busy people? Short The excitement is generally short lived, because once you complete these games, there isn't any replay value. However, there are some titles that have managed to keep me occasionally redownloading them. Golf Zero Ever dream of taking control of a yellow blob as you leap around, dodging spikes and stomping enemies, just so you could stop gravity as you shoot some balls into a hole? Probably not, but you might after this. Each level is so creative and involves so much strategy, you might have to resort to watching a video walkthrough with that guy who tells you to subscribe every ten seconds. Fortress Under Siege A true gem that I hope everyone one of you tries out. No one knows about it, but it's such an immaculate game. The concept is simple, use gold to build a castle and train troops, and then test your defences against hordes of troops. Warning, this game is not for everyone. It is hard. Super hard. Super duper hard. Some of the expansion levels are so hard, even someone like me, who's already beaten the campaign 3 times, had to take advantage of the enemy pathing ai to pass. Shame it's an abandoned project. Cube Escape The entire Cube Escape Series is genius. It's the premier escape room games on the App Store. Everything is well thought out and polished to perfection. 3D PvP The battery drain is real, but for any iPad users out there, enjoy! Modern Combat Versus This game has received a lot of criticism and nitpicks both on ios and steam, but those people don't truly appreciate what the game is at its core. It's easily the best agent/ability based online fps. It's a little grindy, yes, but you shouldn't play the game for the characters, you should play the characters for the game. Tacticool Compared to the last, this game has a lot more freedom. As a top down shooter, you can drive vehicles, plant bombs, use turrets, all kinds of things. Even the bot games are fun. It's one of those games where you can play one way the first day, and a whole new way the next. Last Day on Earth If you're a fan of base building games, play this. Only, it's a great deal more interesting. Instead of magically obtaining over time, you actually have to scavenge for materials. Travel to different locations or raid other bases, all the while watching out for zombies! There's actually enough quality here to be made into a pc game. So there you go, 15 games over 5 genres of the best games to play. Do you agree, or disagree? Did I present any false information? Any games I missed? Let me know in the comments below. Man, I sound like a Youtuber. [link] [comments]
[DEV] 1 Chance is a game I made that you can only ever play once! The pressure is on! Posted: 03 Oct 2020 07:23 AM PDT 1 Chance is a collection of 14 mini games which will test your speed, dexterity and logic, but there is a twist. You can only play it once so the pressure is on! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1529736678 *14 mini games *Global Leaderboards *Secret games A game that has no retention after a play-through is completely unheard of and I wanted to do something a little different, After doing tons of research I couldn't find a game that was anything like "1 Chance" I hope you have a much fun playing and aiming for the the top spot of the global leaderboards as I had making the app! Posted: 02 Oct 2020 11:58 PM PDT Basically I'm really craving a game like vampires live. No, not about vampires or anything similar. I just want a game where I can mindlessly tap away a couple of minutes at a time, or spend an hour or so doing something depending on my mood. Something that isn't pay to win would be nice and a social aspect to it is welcome as well. Sorry if this is too picky but thanks in advance! [link] [comments]

Posted: 02 Oct 2020 01:11 PM PDT I'm looking for a game that is co-op adventure based for mobile. Something like Trove, Minecraft, Portal Knights, terraria, etc. Block story is perfect, but it's not multiplayer. So mostly co-op games that two or three of us can progress in with interactive gameplay. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]
