    Netflix obviously just lists what you can watch. On Amazon Prime you just click on 'Free to Me'.

    I'm fed up with having to scroll though masses of listings on my AppleTV of movies/shows I'll never watch.

    To add insult to injury, you can't tell if you have to pay until you click on a movie. What a waste of time and maddening.

    Edited - I'm using my AppleTV box with an AppleTV+ subscription.

    (Help) How can i disable the directional buttons from the remote in control center? I have the option disabled in settings, so why are they still there?

    Homepod was updated, as well as iPhone yesterday but my appletv4k still says 14.0.2 is latest version. Any news when the TVOS will release?

    Airplay phone to ATV issue

    Since ios14 if I try to Airplay a podcast from phone to ATV4K the player controls usually on the lockscreen roll up and are replaced by Apple TV controls so I'm not able to adjust the volume with the phone, etc. Is there anyway to stop this and return to the pre ios14 way?

    Dolby Vision or Dolby Atmos?

    As someone that has a crappy soundbar that doesn't support both formats at once, I have to pick one over the other. One day, I will pick up a new sound system to make it all work, but today is not that day so a choice has to be made.

    -Choice 1: Apple TV goes into soundbar, which then goes into TV. Result: 4K60 with HDR10, with Dolby Atmos available.

    - Choice 2: Apple TV goes into TV directly and then ARC into soundbar. Result: 4K60 with Dolby Vision, but no Dolby Atmos.

    I imagine some of you also have similar setups with similar limitations. Which do you prefer? What is your setup? What differences (if any) do you notice with one over the other?

    EDIT: Woops, forgot to add my setup. I'm running an LG B9 OLED and a Samsung HWK850 3.1.2 soundbar.

    Volume buttons on iPhone not affecting TV

    Hey, I have an Apple TV 4K plugged into my Samsung TV. The Apple TV remote works fine, including volume buttons. The remote on my phone works as well, all except the volume buttons.

    I've checked that Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) is enabled, what else could it be? I've tried restarting/unplugging everything etc

    Fire TV - Morning Show Ep 1 and 2 won't play - spinning wheel (3 does)

    We are having the worst time trying to watch the Morning show. We downloaded the Apple TV app on our firestick and tried watching The morning show episode 1 & 2. We got a msg that content was unavailable and realized we forgot to sign in.

    We signed into the app with our subscription and tried to play episode 1 and 2. All we get is a spinning wheel.

    Tried everything.

    1. Updated Fire Stick

    2. Restarted Firestick

    3. Force stopped apple app, cleared data and cache and signed back in upon reboot. Even uninstalled

    4.Tried a family members account where episode 1 and 2 were just started to try and do a continue play. Same spinning wheels.

    Episode 3 works however and haven't tried the others.

    It's so frustrating and not a good start.

    So, what is the story with Apple TV 4K and Netflix 4K shows stuttering? I can watch any of the shows on any other device and it is smooth, but on the Apple TV 4K it has issues.

    I have a single Sonos Five (the new one) and it works great as an Airplay speaker with Apple TV. I use a Sonos AMP normally and was just trying the Five out. is anyone doing this with stereo paired Sonos Fives? That would make a really minimalist and great sounding solution...

    Apple TV (3rd gen) keeps freezing when pausing a Youtube video after update 7.6

    Hello, I recently had an issue with Youtube on my Apple TV. When I updated my Apple TV to it's latest software update, version 7.6 I started having problems with Youtube. I tried watching a video, but trying to pause it makes it freeze and I can't un-pause it or go back using the "Menu" button (I have the silver remote) and it forces me to restart my Apple TV. Rewinding and forwarding all works just fine, it's just pausing it makes it freeze.

    I contacted Apple Care about this and we troubleshooted the problem, restarting the Apple TV, resetting the settings and restoring back to factory settings. The problem still persisted after all this, so we narrowed it down to Youtube specifically because all the other apps work just fine. I contacted Youtube by sending them feedback and posting on the community for help.

    Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this? Hopefully this gets resolved soon...

    Unable to log into iCloud/Photos

    We're trying to get my mother-in-law's photos accessible on the ATV 4k, but we're running into a weird issue: When the Photos app is selected, a popup screen says to please sign in to iCloud. That takes us to the iCloud settings page, and we select her name with "Sign In" and enter her password. At that point it just returns to the iCloud settings page, where it says Sign In again. If we back out to the main screen at that point and try to open Photos, the whole process just starts over with the popup screen.

    • I tried entering the wrong password, and it gives us an incorrect login error, so I know we're entering the right password.

    • I'm certain that we have the login info for her iCloud account correct.

    • I went so far as to completely reset and update the ATV 4k and re-do everything, and the same thing happened.

    Am I doing something wrong here? Has anyone else had this maddening problem?

    Bravo app volume 7x lower than anything else

    Anytime I watch a show on Bravo app, I have to turn it up 7x times higher than anything else. As you might imagine, I've startled myself a few times switching back to something else. Anyone else having this problem? FYI I use Sonos Beam vid hdmi-arc.
