Pro Tip: if you turn on Guided Access, gaming gets much more convenient Posted: 24 Oct 2020 05:48 AM PDT With Guided Access on: -notifications don't pop up over your game -you can let someone else play without worrying about what they're doing -if you miss the x on an ad... it does nothing. No pop-up, no App Store -you can prevent rotation in games that are inhibited by it even if you otherwise want rotation -I would like to reiterate that you can now tap at the x on ads freely without it opening the App Store if you miss. That's my favorite bit. -If you have backtap enabled, you don't have to worry about something like a screenshot menu popping up right in the middle of a game just because you were tapping all over the screen -you can't accidentally open the notification shade or control center in games that involve swiping -it's easy to end when you do want any of those things Thank you for reading. Is there a Shortcut that could auto-reply to an SMS 2FA? Posted: 23 Oct 2020 05:17 PM PDT To sign in remotely to my VPN, I get a 2 factor authentication text message that contains a code. I have to reply to that text message with the code for the login to work. I was thinking I could create a Shortcut that does this automatically. The text message comes from the same sender every time, so that's easy. But I'm not sure if there's a way to pull the 6-digit code from the text and insert it into an auto-reply.
