| Posted: 01 Sep 2020 11:50 AM PDT Dropped my X in a 3 foot pool for just about 30 seconds, now the front and back cameras are full of water and the phone won't turn on. I wasn't planning on upgrading yet but now I'm wondering if I should find an old used iPhone to hold me over till the 12 comes out or go ahead and get the 11 Pro. The new form factor would be nice but the only thing I think I would miss having would be the 120hz display and rumors on that seem to go both ways. I'm leaning towards getting the 11 Pro now because I have a lot of job applications out so I need something as soon as possible in case a call comes in 🤞🏼. Thoughts? Also a reminder that the water resistance does wear out over time! Mine was a launch day so almost 3 years old. [link] [comments]  | ||
