Posted: 05 Sep 2020 05:43 AM PDT Hi, there's this game that I play at school and it's a mix between field sports like rugby, soccer and a few other sports. what workout activity would I use to track it? [link] [comments]
Question about battery life on 2hr runs Posted: 05 Sep 2020 05:38 AM PDT Hi folks - With my FitBit on its last legs, I'm considering getting an Apple Watch 6 (when it comes out). I occasionally do longer runs and would love to leave my iPhone at home; however, I'm not sure if an Apple Watch would support the following use case battery life-wise:
Any ideas? I obviously don't want something that would die on me halfway through the run. [link] [comments]
Calls not ringing AFTER using CarPlay Posted: 05 Sep 2020 05:12 AM PDT After using CarPlay, my Apple Watch (5) no longer rings when someone calls. Other devices (iPad and MacBook) do not ring either. My iPhone 📱 11 Pro Max rings normally. Other notifications are working as intended. After a restart, it works again on all devices or, alternatively, when I manually disconnect CarPlay while leaving the car. I use Wireless CarPlay in BMW G30 with software 007.007.008. Does anyone else have the problem? Apple doesn't care; I filled multiple feedbacks. [link] [comments]

Any apps out there that give you a quote every few hours? Posted: 04 Sep 2020 05:58 PM PDT I'm trying to get in a better headspace but i usually drown in my own thoughts after a while, any apps out there that give you quotes every hour or so? Preferably without having to pay 100$ amonth [link] [comments]

Finally have the money for an Apple Watch but I’m wondering if it’s even gonna be worth it for me Posted: 05 Sep 2020 02:13 AM PDT So I get that I'm coming to a sub full of happy Apple Watch owners and I should expect everyone to tell me it'll totally be worth the money. Thing is, I'm not sure how much I'll use it. I'm not exactly the most active person so aside from curiosity about step counting I'm not really going to use it for that. The main reasons I've been thinking about getting one are for audio controls and notifications, but I'm not sure if that's worth dropping $400 CAD for. Obviously it I do get one it'll be after the apple event but right now I'm wondering if I should bother getting one at all. I know there's stuff like the Xiaomi mi band for like $40 that'll do some of the things I want, but that seems kind of cheap tbh. Advice? [link] [comments]
Automatically turn off always on display at night Posted: 05 Sep 2020 01:17 AM PDT Hi everyone, I got watch series 5 less than a month ago and it's kinda annoying having the screen on all night. I use the Pillow app so I'm charging my watch before I go to bed till like 85% and then wear it till the end of the next day. Before I go to bed, I turn off always on display from watch settings but was wondering if it's possible to set it to a function where always on display could be turned off automatically after like 11:30 pm?
