Posted: 30 Aug 2020 03:51 PM PDT Hey everyone, I have an iPhone 11 and I have this bug where during Facetime calls, the phone will switch to LTE on its own even though wifi is perfectly fine (full bars). Whats even more weird is that during the facetime call my phone will still say its on wifi calling but the LTE logo will be visible. Which makes me think it might be a visual bug and not actually using cellular data during facetime. Only workaround is to turn off cellular data during facetime calls. I've turned off wifi assist and even have a new router now (which fixed other wifi related issues i had like wifi calling not working previously and facetime/whatsapp calls cutting out a lot). Anybody know why facetime switches to LTE? And does iOS 14 have the same bug or is it fixed there? Thanks! [link] [comments]  |

When the IPhone charge a little and turn on automatically, its charging, but if i disconnect the cable, and connect it again doesnt charge. | Very low sound ONLY on videos sent from my phone. Posted: 30 Aug 2020 06:20 PM PDT So IPhone XS has a slightly muffled speaker when holding to ear. On speaker function it's great. However if we take a video and then send it, no one can here the audio well. It's like it's on volume 5 out of 100. Everything I can think of is turned up full blast. Any ideas? Have to use the phone to send video chats to kids (teacher). Scratch that ... double checked. The Videos also have close to zero sound on my phone when played back also. [link] [comments]  |

At first my number was gray under iMessage and FaceTime, but now it is not... yet still saying verifying. It warns that my carrier may charge for sms to activate iMessage, when you say ok a new pop up says an error occurred during activation. No matter what I do, I get this error message about activation. I've followed every single step from restarting, reentering sim, resetting phone, checking time zone, resetting network, on off iMessage, it's been more than 5 days and no dice constantly stuck on verifying. Tested sms texting and I'm receiving them just fine with other ppl, I can make calls too, it just won't verify my number with FT and iMessage no matter what I do. Posted: 30 Aug 2020 07:17 AM PDT Hello everyone, I have an iPhone Xs, I had it in my pocket and while walking I fell on it, there was no physical damage but the wifi, Bluetooth etc stopped working. After getting it checked I was informed that the logic board was damaged. I also have a spare iPhone X which has everything else working fine but a little damage to the screen. If I take it to the right guys, would it be possible to put the logic board of the iphoneX into the IPhone Xs and get it back to working condition? Any help in this regard would be much appreciated. Posted: 30 Aug 2020 01:38 PM PDT Something is going on today with the internet in the world and my carrier has issues with DNS servers so I need to change them to 8.8.8.8 for example. I close the phone, look at the lock screen, see the numbers counting down, think it's fine. Timer all evidence of it disappears at some point. | Posted: 30 Aug 2020 08:50 AM PDT Hey guys, I made this reddit account because I'm lost as to whats wrong with this Iphone, so my GF's Friend dropped her Iphone 7 in water and her thinking it had water damage decided to give it to me seeing as I need a new phone and I wanted to take a look anyways to see if I can fix it. I didn't think it needed fixing, seeing as after 20 minutes of charge it "turned on" but the display was grey so I bought a new screen and fitted it and it was still grey and that's where I am now. I joined a Discord to ask for help and all they suggested to me was to replace the screen even though I've just put the new one on because it doesn't look logic board related. This is where gets sticky because everything works, Touch screen, Power/volume and home buttons, front and back camera, flashlight, microphone and speaker and the charger port. | Posted: 30 Aug 2020 08:24 AM PDT Hello. I use a iPhone 8+ and I recently downgraded from the ios 14 beta back to ios 13.6.1 due to Pokemon Go not working in ios 14. I downgraded by making a backup of my ios 14 and editing the files to turn off the downgrade lock(making my ios 14 backup compatible with ios 13), since I didn't have a previous backup before I downloaded the beta. Now my health app doesn't function correctly and doesn't seem to be tracking any health data at all. All of the categories in the app say "No Data Available," and the Adventure Sync option in Pokemon Go, which tracks offline steps to progress in the game, isn't working either. [link] [comments]  |
