| New iOS Games out this week - 8/27/2020 Posted: 26 Aug 2020 08:56 PM PDT Another new week is upon us, here's what's new this week in the world of gaming on iOS. Here's also a link to TouchArcade for the source, and for those who just want links without having to visit an external site the list is down below. Enjoy, and have fun gaming . Just wanted to give notice: I've noticed I *think* some games may vary in size on different devices (iPhone/iPad). I primarily game on iPad so the sizes I list are for iPad. Also note: The game 'Stilstand' wouldn't come up for me when I searched it in the App Store on my iPhone or iPad. So I used the category provided in the App Store link to the game, and the size as well. Whether or not that size is for iPad or iPhone I don't know. I preordered it and all and have been playing on pc since early access. It is set in the same universe as meteorfall but it's not a true sequel. Plays very differently. | Posted: 27 Aug 2020 02:53 AM PDT Im using it on my IPAD through local network and it works mostly fine, but then i tried AMD link and latency was much better and it didnt have stutters like steam link has once in a while. My only problem is i cant get my xbox one gamepad to work in it, even after running games from steams big picture mode etc. Is there anything else that has good latency and supports xbox one controller? | Posted: 26 Aug 2020 04:41 PM PDT I want to have a headset on that is connected to my iPad for game sound, but also connected to my iPhone for voice comms (Discord currently), preferably with ptt (push to talk). The reason for not just having Discord in the background of the game is twofold...one it is buggy imo and two the ptt easily while in-game. Anyone doing something similar? I remember years ago trying to just use a splitter but the audio sources bumped heads against each other and I don't think the mic would work then. I'm guessing an actual audio mixer would do the trick for audio (not sure mic) but also don't want a big honking piece of equipment to do this with. | Posted: 26 Aug 2020 10:17 AM PDT I was watching Ender's game yesterday and I thought that it would be cool to have a game about fleets (capital ships, carriers, fighters, etc) in space facing each other as the main core of the game, tactically and/or with some RTS elements... anyone knows if such a game exist for iOS (iphone or ipad)? and premium preferably (I seriously dislike p2w, f2p, ad riddled games). I did some searching around and found some "free" cash grabs and the closest one that came to what I have in mind was galaxy reavers, but the whole energy and p2w elements ruined it for me as well as the 1 minute timer for the battles.
