Can I get my battery replace for free? Posted: 07 Jul 2020 11:54 AM PDT My dad buy me a iPhone X in like 2017-2018 and he buy it straight from Apple Store. We don't have the receipt anymore but would I be able to get my battery change or will they charge me and how much? Thanks! [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Jul 2020 02:15 PM PDT I'm considering buying and iPhone X or XR and wondering what one to get..... I like the iPhone XRs bigger display but I also like the iPhone X's oled panel... I also need a good battery life, to last about 6 - 7 hours maybe. [link] [comments] |
Battery health “service” message Posted: 07 Jul 2020 01:53 PM PDT Just got a refurbished iPhone X yesterday and straight away checked the battery health and it said 100%. It died today due to less than 10% battery. After recharging it the battery health now says service. I researched into it and saw that this happens if the battery was replaced with either a genuine Apple battery or other. Which would have been the case considering the phone is refurbished. Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and is it anything to worry about or can i just ignore it? Edit: It was not purchased through Apple. It was from a company called giffgaff in the u.k [link] [comments] |
Posted: 07 Jul 2020 09:51 AM PDT I just cannot believe with what I've come to expect from Apple and their customer service that I just drove my butt to a BestBuy for my appointment to get my battery replaced to be told...Nope! Go to a Apple Store pal cya! They didn't have a battery, wouldn't get a battery in. Mail it in or go to an Apple Store! I just made an appointment for that? Where I sign it and it has my Serial Number and everything.. Just a warning for anyone else I guess. It doesn't seem Apples "Authorized Service Provider" is required to carry basic parts like batteries for a 2 1/2 year old phone. [link] [comments] |
