[HELP] PLEASE GUYS MY IPHONE GOT DISABLED IS THERES ANYWAY I CAN GET IT BACK Posted: 30 Jul 2020 03:11 PM PDT [HELP] Is there any way I can get all my data from a disabled Iphone 6S Plus?? My stupid ass brother entered the wrong passcode multiple times and now it says "iPhone is disabled connect to iTunes" I have not synced my phone to iTunes ever so I don't think I'll be getting my data back from it. I really don't care about the phone as I can just reset it but the photos in it were extremely valuable to me. I had pictures of my newborn baby and all. Me being a stupid ass also didn't back up any data. Is it in any way possible to restore it with all the data or extract its data and reset it? It's been a year trying to get my data back using questionable apps and nothing has worked for it. Please I seriously need some help. [link] [comments] |
Constant problem with my alarm. Posted: 30 Jul 2020 03:12 PM PDT Hey everyone, this is my last resort. I have an outing with my friend tomorrow,so I have to be up early. But,knowing my alarm,it won't ring out and wake me up. I've tried factory resets, turning my phone on and off, leaving the ringer bar up,deleting old alarms and making new ones. I even used my timer until that stopped working too. I have an IPhone 6s,second hand,3.5 years old. I'm out of options and I can't afford to be late tomorrow. Has anyone got any fixes? And yes,I've googled this multiple times in the last month but nothing I've tried has worked at all. Any advice is welcomed. If your tip works on testing I'll inform you. I hope it's an easy fix. Edit: I think my problem may be fixed,my alarm went off today but I was already awake. It just apparently needs to be tested everyday. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jul 2020 02:33 PM PDT Hey all. I recently got a replacement iPhone. I transferred all my media from the old one to new one. When I try to edit some of my gallery photos that were taken with my old iPhone and transferred, a "downloading" message appears, but download never completes. I've let the photo download for as long as 5 mins, but nothing happens. i guess I could try leaving it on longer, but I've got a feeling it's not gonna work. I've tried over both data and wifi (both strong signals). Anyone else have this happen to them? [link] [comments] |

Please help with Bluetooth / car connectivity Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:13 PM PDT I can either get the phone to sync to the car Bluetooth but once that happens my voice command turn by turn directions from Siri when in google maps does not sound/work anymore. Or if I turn off the Bluetooth in the car, then Siri pops up again and speaks to me in Google maps and give me turn by turn directions I can't remember when this started malfunctioning because I used to be able to have both. I remember having my Bluetooth on and being able to talk to someone in the car from the speaker and having my phone by my side and hearing Siri give me turn by turn directions [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jul 2020 05:51 PM PDT I dropped my iPhone 11 today and now when the screen is displaying something black there are a few small purple dots on it, it doesn't happen on any other color than black. I assume this is a problem with the LCD after the drop. Can I wait to replace the screen or will it mess up my phone? [link] [comments] |
iPhone hotspot ridiculously slow Posted: 30 Jul 2020 04:20 PM PDT Hey everybody. I have connected my iPhone 11 Pro to my windows 10 PC using both USB tethering and Wi-Fi and I am getting speeds of 5 kB per second or slower. I've reset my phones network settings as well as updated my drivers but just yesterday I was getting speeds of over 100 MB per second on my Wi-Fi so I know that's not the issue. On my Verizon go unlimited plan there is apparently a 600 kB per second but I'm not getting anywhere close to that. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks. [link] [comments] |
Not Receiving Calls From Flip Phone Posted: 30 Jul 2020 01:57 PM PDT My Dad still uses a flip phone and recently we have seen some issues. I have an iPhone 11 that I got about a month ago, I am in the US. Software version 13.5.1. This issue only started happening after I switched from an android to this iphone. It is random too, for example this morning I didn't get 6 of my Dad's calls even though for him it went though to my voicemail. Then he called me three hours later and it worked. 15 minutes after he called and it didnt work. This issue has cost lots of time for the both of us and we missed fishing today because of it :(. My sister has had this issue with my Dad for years and she has an iphone. I'm on verizon btw. [link] [comments] |
iPhone 11 Exchange Calendar Suddenly Disappeared Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:54 AM PDT Having an issue with an iPhone 11 MaxPro. Have been using Exchange 2013 for my business mail service for years. Yesterday morning the calendar in the iPhone Mail App simply was not there. No sign of it. I reloaded my Exchange profile, tried to re-sync calendar, rebooted the phone. I also installed the Outlook App and I'm seeing the same thing; no calendar. This issue is isolated to my iPhone, as the Exchange calendar is visible on all other devices and through web access. My desktops include both PC and Mac, which are both displaying the calendar properly. Any advice is appreciated. [link] [comments] |
Can I trade in a phone that was a replacement from insurance at the apple store? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 12:03 PM PDT Hi it's an iPhone 8 fully working no visible display damage or other damage just wondering if they accept phones received as a replacement from insurance. [link] [comments] |

iPhone 11 stuck on control center (13.1) Posted: 30 Jul 2020 08:28 AM PDT I swiped up to change my brightness, and my phone is simply stuck on the control center. 60 percent battery, and I can't do anything. Literally nothing except for calling emergency services. And using Siri, who is useless. How do I fix this? I am trying to just drain the battery but that will take hours. It worked the last time it happened, but my phone was already low battery. [link] [comments] |
iPhones that should stay on an older iOS version? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 08:21 AM PDT I understand in a couple rare cases, it's better to actually have an older version of iOS. I was wondering which cases those were? Currently, my understanding is that for the original iPhone, it's more collectible to have it on iOS 1.0 rather than 3.1.3, and that for the iPhone 4/4s it runs poorly on iOS 9. Are there any other situations where I shouldn't just update to the latest iOS? This is mainly relevant for older phones. [link] [comments] |
Logo image on Signature of native email returns Null Posted: 30 Jul 2020 08:16 AM PDT I am trying to add my signature on my corporate email on iPhones native email app. However, when I try to attach the image logo of my company on the signature via copy and paste, the image returns a white box that says Null. I can see the image on the signature when I compose the email, this Null issue only arises when the email is sent out. Please assist. Thanks so much [link] [comments] |
Posted: 30 Jul 2020 06:01 AM PDT As title really, I'd be super grateful for any help with this as it seems quite a weird one to me. On normal calls people are always telling me I'm very quiet, to the point that they struggle to make out a lot of what's being said. The bottom mic seems to be working fine as Whatsapp calls are apparently loud and clear. It can't be a signal thing because normal calls via a headset are also fine. I've tried cleaning the mic and disabling the noise reduction but neither of those seemed to make a difference. From what I've tried it almost seems like some sort of issue with the call software but really I have no idea! This is the original small SE (13.5.1) and it worked fine during normal calls for a good couple of years after I bought it. Edit: Sorry - forgot to mention that I've already tried to clean the mic holes (doubted it was that anyway since it works with Whatsapp calls) and normal calls work fine on speakerphone. Also it's not the case causing the issue as it's the same outside of it. [link] [comments] |
Silence notification by category? Posted: 30 Jul 2020 05:01 AM PDT Just switched back Any way to silence only a certain category of notification? Looking around in the app and notification manage and I'm not getting it? [link] [comments] |
Auto brightness seems to stop at 50% Posted: 30 Jul 2020 04:47 AM PDT Hey all, I've been having a really weird issue lately. When I'm outside the screen is really hard to see and it turns out that auto brightness seems to never go above 50% or so. I've tried resetting the auto brightness by turning it off, having phone in dark room, manually sliding the brightness slider to min etc but it will not recalibrate. I can turn the brightness up manually so that it's really bright but auto refuses to work. Any ideas? [link] [comments] |
