| Netflix results no longer appearing in Siri/universal search? Posted: 05 Jul 2020 04:22 AM PDT Today I've noticed when using Siri to search for movies, my Apple TV no longer gives me the option to watch the movie on Netflix if it is available. I've tested this with about 10 different movies I can find directly within the Netflix app, but I don't have the option to open/watch them in Netflix when searching for them with Siri. If I search for a movie available on another streaming service, Siri still gives me the option to watch it there - it only appears to be excluding Netflix. Can anybody else confirm this please? | Weird Remote Quirk on TV OS 14 Posted: 04 Jul 2020 05:28 PM PDT The cursor won't move if I try to swipe on the remote in YouTube and YouTube TV Apps, it works if I use the remote like it's in directional button mode tho, I'm guessing it's a bug in Googles Apps that needs to be ironed out in 14. Is anyone else noticing this behavior? I'm hoping it's not the new norm because swipe-scrubbing is literally one of the reasons I kept the Apple TV after buying it... [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 04 Jul 2020 06:02 PM PDT So I recently bought a Bose Solo 5 sound bar and decided to hook up the included remote. Once the remote was connected to the apple tv I was super happy with how it worked... until I tried the "sleep now" function. About 30 seconds after it is put to sleep it turns back on! I unpaired the new remote and used the remote that came with the Apple tv and it worked. Is there a setting I need to change to make the new remote work? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 05 Jul 2020 12:03 AM PDT It cannot be just a me issue, this app is so frustrating to use! It doesn't always save watch progress on shows. CC settings never save, not even within the same ep — if I leave the app, they're off when I reopen it. Also, what's with it listing shows you can't even watch in-app, but rather need to download another network's app? -1/10, glad this was a free trial bc this experience so far is leading towards me never wanting to pay for it. Does anyone know if there's any way to fix either of the video player or subtitles issues ? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 04 Jul 2020 06:09 AM PDT Yo guys! I'm using Spotify on the apple tv together with my girlfriend, and we both have a Spotify account to listen to music with a family plan. Sadly, multi user isn't a thing for Spotify. So we've got to log out and in again to switch (which is fairly easy, but still eh) I've googled around and there doesn't really seem to be a way around this. I faintly recall reading a post from someone saying you could do it with two apple IDs where each apple user could have his own Spotify with the correct account. I can't find this specific post now tho. Has anyone here any clue on how this might work? I've setup a second apple Id for me but the Spotify user stays no matter which apple user is active.
